    Been clean off H for over six years. Discovering Dorian’s philosophy and reasoning in regards to weight training has been life changing. Exercise/lifting is the ONLY thing that has made me feel somewhat normal like my pre drug days. With hard work and creativity his style of lifting has been instrumental to the best fitness I’ve had in my entire life. I am forever grateful to him. God bless you Dorian.

    Really love HIT; I used to do the high volume training, but found my strength increased so much quicker with these kinds of methods.
    At the moment I'm cutting, but still seeing strength increases, and I just don't think I'd be able to get the same progress with a volume heavy program.

      Explain to me warrior....what your definition of high volume... because I do 15 to 25 reps and barley see results..and I been doing it on and off sense I'm a teen now I'm 31 and it's just like a never ending cycle...I need some better advice

      More volume generally mean more sets. If you’re training well then it sounds like you need to consume more calories each day

    That Nautilus pullover machine at 30secs in made me smile.
    My youngest was impressed recently watching Milos train in his hometown where he started bodybuilding so I decided to show him pics of Temple Gym. New machines are nice (god bless the belt squat) but not what makes a great physique. It really clicked with him seeing champions train what is important is all the things you can control: consistency, intensity, effort, focus, etc.

    La disciplina de ir a entrenarse y hacerlo duro y consistente cada día, puede aplicarse fuera del gimnasio. Y esa misma alta intensidad buen enfocada se puede adaptar en cualquier otra actividad del día a día 👉

    How would somebody do hit training at home? Without a partner?

    • @npplscorpion
      @npplscorpion Před 2 lety

      You can still do HIT but some lifts you won’t be able to do forced reps and some lifts/weights levels where you should have a spotter for safety can be replaced with others.

      It’s not the same without partner, but from my experience you can use rest pauses to push intensity of an exercise, and with specific exercises like weighted pull ups/dips can really push yourself and safer than other exercises to exhaust static and negative movements. You can also do something like leg extension/curl with one leg and switch to 2 legs to do positive movement after go to failure, and go back to one leg to exhaust static and negative.

    • @chaddsteinberg3758
      @chaddsteinberg3758 Před rokem

      Look up Dorian Yates HIT program. For basics, find your one rep max for each exercise(safely). Then find the heaviest weight where you go to positive failure around 1 set x 12 reps. Do some light warms up sets before the all out failure set. When you go beyond 12 reps increase the weight for your failure set. Do one body part maybe two a day so you get plenty of rest, when it doesn’t ache, an been atleast 5-7 days hit it again. I’ve grown a ton in a few months training with insane intensity, heavy, I do add some lighter sets after my main set to failure as well but it’s probably not necessary, I’m natural. I used to look good when I’d get a pump, now it’s like I’m permanently walking around with a pump. Don’t be scared or embarrassed to make noise and faces, go intense!

    Your high intensity training is the only cause of arms injury
    You still train your injured arms
    With high intensity
    If you give proper heal time and return
    Then you will win more than 6 Olympia 🔙guy

      @rybald1973 Před rokem +1

      ok let me educate you. his injuries happened when he was still training heavy leading into a comp. With so low body fat that is never a good idea, something he himself has talked about and said he would change and instead keep the intensity but go much lighter. Nice try on the burn but completely failed due to knowing nothing. Just out of curiosity how many Mr Olympias have you won?
