    Dorian should do a training app with his voice talking you through each exercise set's and rep's.with some of his words of encouragement thrown in.i for One would pay for it.legend and seems like a cool Guy.

    I saw Dorian @ 97 British Grand Prix, I was 25 back then. I took his training methods, H.I T & built a great body. I'm still training H.I.T to this day at 49. Thanks Dorian, kindest regards Richard U.K

    I'm doing the HIT program and I used to struggle with 50 pound dumbbell shoulder presses. In about 6 weeks I was doing 65 lbs for 5 reps. No I'm moving on to 70's with help on the first one. I feel like an idiot for not doing this approach earlier in life. I workout 3 days a week.

    I just started researching HIT and did my first upper body workout on Friday (two days ago); holy shit it was hard. Now I know why a lot of people don't do this or give negative feedback on this type of training; because it's frigen hard. I'm 61 years old and I think I found my new style of training

    Dorian your a inspiration, l love your training philosophy of HIT Training l trained HIT as a young man and had a 15 year lay off from lifting weights but decided to return at age 55 years old and using HIT l surpassed my strength and regained my muscle within a short time, thank you Dorian your a legend

    It's great to watch Dorian train a new generation. Appreciate the 20 minute workout if you take away all the fluff. Nice adjustment from the Jones and Mentzer way. Every student that turns into a legend is going to add their own flavor. Respect.

      I dont See where this Was HIT. Very Low intensity exercises with a lot of volume and drop Sets. I thought HIT was meant to be conpound movements with only 1-2 very heavy Sets to failure. Like the opposite of this video

      @@bradolfhitler I think he is just teaching him new movements but I get your point.
      HIT training uses compound movements AND isolation movements. Missing in this demonstration is the use of the "Pre-Exhaust system".
      For instance, you would do Leg Extensions (Isolation) 1 set max weight for 12-15 reps and immediately go to Leg Presses with 360 lbs for 12-15. (But the weight would feel like 720 lbs) And you would do two cycles of this. So only 4 total sets for your quads. Then 2 sets of thigh bicep curls in straight sets.
      So that would be 6 sets of total work for your upper legs. and you should complete this work in less than 15 minutes with rest time included. Weight is not always the determining factor. Get as much work done in as little time as possible.

    I've been such a huge fan of Dorian Yates from way back when he first started competing and watched him ascend to the Olympia stage and just dominate raining supreme for 6 years straight! That's one thing about Dorian he knows how to train intensely! When he trains you he knows how to crawl inside your body and work your muscles like you've never worked them before and definitely knows how to put you in the House of pain for maximum results! Dorian Yates is the poster icon for intensity!

    This is how you fkn do it, 40 minute in the gym and then out. Alot of you guys are walking around for 2 hours, texting, watching instagram etc not getting anything done, not a drop of sweat. Learn from this. It's called intensity.

    When you’re really isolating those shoulders on raises - strict form, holding at the top, controlled negative, no momentum or swinging - those 10kg dumbbells get real heavy right quick.

      But you will still see people shittalk in the comments on how the guy is weak. That's the internet for ya. Use loose form and you get the form police. Use strict form and avoid ego lifting and you get called weak.

    DY is so fluid with his movements. I don't think he got enough credit for his grace and posing skill. You can tell he's really worked on his biomechanics and flexibility. For my money the greatest to ever take the stage at Mr. O.

    Thets how everybody trained back in the day. Now its looked at like a new high intensity workout. We used to do more sets too. Probably overtrained but nobody knew any different. 20-25 sets on major body parts and 12-15 for arms and calves
