Thanks for an in depth look at how to fix this. I have watched several videos that all show different things that cause this, but yours puts them all together and helps it make more sense.

I used this information today to bypass a broken vacuum line, going directly to the switch valve as shown here, and besides it fixing my problem, I can tell that my AC is blowing a lot colder. Thanks for taking the time to teach us something!

Your a life saver!!! Need ac in the summertime! I'm having a tough time finding a good vacuum hose. Checked dealership and parts stores. I'm gonna try an ac place. Maybe they'll have it! Awesome video! Thanks for sharing! And yep! I think you have the only up to date video as well! Very much helpful! I tried a hose but it was a windshield wiper hose. But closed up under pressure. Thanks!

Thank you for this video...all others showed where to fix only in engine area. My line was disconnected at the firewall and could not reconnect up. Ran a new vacuum line from the check valve in engine bay thru the firewall behind the brake and gas pedal and connected to the cut black hose that you suggested. All working great again and really appreciate this video...

Thanks for a very ingenious video man. This is the only video that makes sense to me so far. I also have an issue with my gas gauge not being accurate and is a quarter tank off.

I thought I was going to have to go another summer without A/C in my F150. My vacuum hose is disconnected right at the firewall and I did not find any other videos that had a solution like yours. This is the way I am going to fix my truck. Now I just need to find some good vacuum hoses. Thank you for this video!
