it's the same thing with comments. CZcams censors quality comments they do not agree with while letting some of the worst ones stand.
When are youtubers going to get together and sue youtube. maybe even unionizing.......

Brett, might be time to look at joining Floatplane or Nebula, just to diversify further. This way, you can still upload stuff and people can still find you. Also, both of those platforms are not advertiser driven, so you can post content that can't be monetized on CZcams. And they might provide you with some protections against "Ninnytendo".
Demonetised and hit with several copyrights for creating and sharing my own music after 14 years. CZcams hate individuals. If you aren't a corporation, they do not care.

@@POLARTTYRTM Same thing happened to Sheet Music Boss a few years ago. As the name suggests, they upload music, and got demonetized for "reused content" because all the visuals for their videos uses synthisia or embers. Absolutely ridiculous
Hey! That's me whose video you have summarized in your short. Guess what, it has also been taken down due to that «Harmful and Dangerous» policy a few months back. CZcams has also failed to reinstate it and it's very frustrating, considering that's the first video of mine that made it into mainstream media. It would be great if you could help reinstating it somehow, if you have ties with someone CZcams cares about.

@@UFDTech that's a shame really. CZcams used to have a useful chat feature, they used to have support on Twitter, but that seems to be gone now. It's awful now, they do what they want whenever they want and there's zero communication.

It’s crazy how CZcams will fight tooth and nail with a smaller creator over something this small, but look the other way when a massive creator like SSSniperWolf doxxes someone.

Ironically, this is your first video that’s appeared in my recommended feed in a long time.
I understand why you want to delete this, but I’d encourage you not to bc it sheds a light on arbitrary policies that aren’t enforced correctly, and it could serve as education and inspiration for other creators (particularly smaller ones) who suffer similar punishment and don’t know how to handle it.
Also, kudos for being both grateful and complimentary to YT while calling out issues and opportunities for improvement.

The first UFD owned video I've seen in my feed for months was the one he posted to his 2nd channel and it was on my YT front page. I had to search for UFD Tech to find this video.

You're right CZcams probably is the best platform in terms of outreach. Things are great when things are going good, but when things go wrong they go very very wrong. When you get along it's great, but it's like that friendship where you fall out a little too often. You could call it an abusive relationship. CZcams holds all the cards and they know it.
That's why more people need to create exclusive content on alt tech sites like Rumble. People will consider them when you have content available on other platforms that's not here on CZcams.
Why shouldn't CZcams hold all the cards when it's their company that people are using to get money from? CZcams shouldn't be used as employment. CZcams should be used as a tool to market your business. All of these tech guys can literally invest in their own platform and set their own rules. LTT have done it.
Google owns CZcams and spies on everything people related and data related.
They are a monopoly plys their limit on space for emails is ridiculous.
I do not only use Google.
And other platforms exist.
With an Indian owning it and not the original creators of it then it’s downfall is understandable.
I recently took another CZcams survey and I mentioned this sort of thing happening when asked to provide additional feedback. You just never know when CZcams will give your channel a strike and provide no explanation that makes sense. Glad that you got your channel back.
I've been passively following UFD Tech for years, and it's insane the amount of things CZcams has been putting you through. I swear it's as though there's someone at CZcams who has it out for you. I'm hoping things get better.
Don't delete the video! You can still get struck on it even if you do and you won't be able to fight it. Put it in "Private" mode and you will be able to point to the sections in dispute.

Not necessarily with content creators... In this day & age it makes more sense to have multiple income streams; be it reselling on eBay, streaming & posting contents on multiple sites, etc.
Honestly a lot of these companies are draconian and a lot of times it's problematic because they're using algorithms and automations.
I respect the transparency. I will always choose this over having the wool pulled over future content creators eyes. Someday, this will be the way.

@@Couchtripper That's a lazy excuse. If I release 3 videos a week on YT, I upload 5 to Rumble. So that gives you 2 exclusive videos alongside the regular content. Nobody will switch over and watch the same videos if they're just mirroring YT, but if they give a crap about your channel in the first place, they'll come watch the Rumble exclusives.

I would be absolutely shocked if a set of human eyes ever watch any of these videos without there being a truly colossal shit-storm around a video.
Most likely there is a bunch of good souls in google/youtube. The trouble is they have no power, no voice due to threat of getting fired.
Might have to get going with Gryajay. More creators need to do this. Have a hot takes channel on other platforms and just direct people to anything that could get you whacked. Remember there are two sets of rules: One for the rich and wealthy and one for the rest of the poors. Have to keep the fiat serfs in check and under control.

The reasons you listed about CZcams not being responsive is what frightened me about pursuing a digital content channel.

That’s CZcams unfortunately I’m a huge Philip DeFranco fan and he talks about this on a daily basis not trying to be a dead horse, but a lot of people on CZcams talk about this on a daily basis from channels, big and small. I hope you diversify and spread your channel on other places make your own webpage or promote your Patreon more. Wish you the best of luck in dealing with their stupidity

Hang in there Brett , well deserved rant , I too have a very young you tube channel were I talk about game development ,and you are so right on this point. I am constantly walking on eggshells, when it comes to finding ideas for videos, but my takeaway from your situation is I don't mess with the big corporations, I stay away form Nintendo, Microsoft and Apple and anything that can be remotely viewed as piracy completely. You did nothing wrong and don't deserve this runaround. But stay strong, and thanks for sharing this !

The real issues here is you shouldn’t have to NOT talk about things in the news bc YT may not like it and smack you. You SHOULD be able to talk about these things. YT needs to pull up the big boy pants and do what’s right and do better when it comes to strikes and claims. Be better, do better and we’ll all be better for it YT.
Quite a few creators on here have said something about facing this sort random crackdown. Hope either the ai gets better or the people monitoring things get motivated to care.
Was really glad to see this video when I got on this morning man. Been watching your channel since the Skylake days and it has always been a blast. This situation with CZcams makes my blood boil for you, I just hate the lack of communication with you, and the way they have treated your channel since the Nintendo fiasco. If there was a petition to sign or something we could do to put pressure on CZcams to get a handle on this, I would be all over it
There is no worse feeling than that of being powerless to do anything in the face of an obvious bad decision or error especially when it happens repeatedly. Anymore I'm kinda glad I'm old and grew up in different times when companies and people actually cared to do the right thing.

Be careful, because there was another content creator who used his personal CZcams to communicate what happened to his main channel and CZcams took that down saying the individual was circumventing CZcams's restriction.
He only reported on what happened to the main channel and ranted a little.
He did not try showing his usual content through his personal account.

A new mainstream website needs to be created. I don't know who can do it, or who is willing to but CZcams is becoming more and more draconian each week and it's making the site more and more turbulent for CZcamsrs to create without unnecessary the stress of videos being randomly struck.
I had this idea in 2011-2017, and the issue is; how do I make a value proposition TO investors. Or market on Google's SEARCH. We don't even have a SEARCH alternative, either.

I spent 7 hours on hold in chat and through emails when I got 2 False strikes. This isn't CZcams, They are just instantly siding with the person that reported it. Twitter youtube is useless. I finally got through to an actual manager and they reversed it. You need a dedicated shorts partner manager. It is a different partner manager from your channel partner manager.
This is a common problem on X too. Neither company has "real people" in customer service. They do, but they're impossible to get to. They let software handle everything and getting a human to set eyes on your problem, is next to impossible.

Secondly, Nvidia dumped into AI heavily and their stock shot up from 2 hundo a share to over 900 dollars per share... Jensen is another insane rich person. Nvidia isn't out of the norm on that. AI is a tool being used to gain loads of money really quickly at this time. People are also using it for good but, AI would dare say it's being used more for generating tons of money really quickly.

I completely understand why you feel the way you do. Unfortunately, many people falsely assume that the platform is akin to a democracy, since after all, there is an appeals system. The reality is that, while the platform wouldn't exist without Users and Creators, we're all considered expendable. All the importance is given to advertisers.

Welcome back Brett! Glad you got your channel back. The sad fact is that CZcams is unfathomably large that currently they physically cannot properly moderate every single video that has been or will be uploaded. Even though you are right, CZcams really don't care and would rather side on the air of caution from fear of litigation and not use any due diligence to make things right for the creator. CZcams receives thousands, if not millions of similar grievances and complaints not just in the English-speaking world. In the end, CZcams is so large that even if they lose or ban all of the top CZcamsrs, there's always another channel to take their place.

I can't even pay Microsoft for a window 10 activation key. I've looked and looked and I can't seem to find the purchase button. I thought about buying a $30 dell optiplex and grabbing the key off that
I did that. I bought a whole ass office pc off eBay for £50. Cloned the OS from the SSD onto a bigger SSD. Kept the 128gb it came with for a rainy day. Plus, I have spare ram sticks, etc, that I could also sell to recoup some cost or for a budget build.
Digital key resellers may be some of the most shady companies out there, but they still offer a better service than Microsoft..

We live in times where even the algorithms are facists.
and... this is why, as I type this, I'm setting up a self-hosting option for my YT content. YT pays so poorly now that I doubt I'll miss the adsense revenue and my community will be able to gain access to my content without advertising. It's a win for everyone!

Dont back down, diversify your platforms to GrayJay and get your users to follow all your content sources and not the channel.
@@StretchDattass well... diversifying your content to other platforms, that may not be as financially giving or have the number of viewers youtube does; but diversified content that is on alternate platforms is 100% better than placing all your eggs in the single YT basket..and having that sole content authoritian delete, remove or otherwise screw with your distribution... Try going over to Nebula.... YT IS NOT the only source to distribute content.

The problem is you are basing your entire income on a third party that can arbitraily make decisions out of your control. From a viewers perspective CZcams's lack of transparency is the root of the problem. CZcams needs to provide some basic customer service for creators.
