It depends on how your life has turned out . If you’ve got your own home, got married got good job and go on holidays that’s fine. However for various reasons if life has been a struggle , eg bad luck bad health and bad decisions then no. A reunion for that person would not be a good idea. In any school there is the good the bad the ugly and the toxic.Toxic people can be very cruel broadening in evil , it’s best to stay away from them.

I went to my 5 year reunion, I've never been to a reunion since. This year will be 40 years and I don't intend to go to it either. The people I'd want to see I'm already in contact with, the rest I could care less if I ever see them again. Most of my friends from school were in the classes either ahead or behind me anyway.

High school was the worst 4 years of my life. Why would you want to relive being in hell just to see the demons who tortured you?

Honestly peoples reactions to School reunions largely depend on their experience in High School. They can either be really good years or the worst years of your life depending on the assholes you get stuck with. To all the people who were bullied, or just had a terrible time in high school, I hope you’ve been able to move on and rise above those terrible years.

I think a school reunion would be interesting seeing how everyone looks now, the clever person in the class may not have the best job! they will see how you have changed in different ways.

I graduated from high school in 2002 and have no interest in seeing a group of materialistic narcissists who treated me like shit in junior high and ignored me in high school ever again. I don't care about what they're doing and I'm sure they haven't thought about me in years. If any of them have, I still don't care.

In a way,,, it's really WORTH it to go to your 10th year,, 20th year,, 30th year and then even say your 35th year H.S. Reunion. However after that point,,, it seems like interest tends to die off,, and for real. JUst speaking from experience.
