As a teacher, we dread reunions too. It's not funny to see the cheater become a banker later 😂
My best friend now teaches at our old school and dear god have I learned things about our old teachers from him. So I feel for both sides 😅
I once met my math teacher... I just informed him that despite the grades, now I am counting the amount of his pension 😆
So nothing changed
Why are teachers going to these?
@@johndoe5555I once met my favorite teacher from elementary school just after I'd graduated high school and he got fall down drunk and hit on me really inappropriately(while mentioning his thoughts about me when I was in 5th grade). Never meet your heroes, kids.
“Why school reunions? You don’t go to prison reunions.” This is hitting a little too close to home for me. 😂
Exactly. Other than prison, school is the only place people are forced to be in life, with no choice to leave.
😂
Bots are getting better at generating SM comments. 😮
Of course there are prison reunions. You think people only get caught once and that's it.
The 3 most popular girls in HS have been married three times with no kids.😮
Exactly why I don’t go. Everyone remembers the person you were. They have no idea and you have no way to convince them of the person you have become.
..you don't have to convince somebody.. you are the person who you are und thats it.
*gets dropped off on school grounds by h3licopter w/ 3 supermodels on your arms in tailor made, silk lined suit and aligator skin loafers. Holding 8ball of bolivias finest marching powder in jacket pocket. 😬
Why would you have to convince anyone? I wanted to go to school reunion to show everyone that now I'm successful, fit, and happy in life, but I decided not to because I made this life for myself and not for others
@@ChaadFairservice20022 did you censor the helicopter? 💀
Well im still smarter and morally superior & I still wouldn’t go to one
When you leave highschool:
"Well goodbye everyone, I'll remember you all in therapy."
🎯🎯🎯
Good one!
😂😂
When my 20-year school reunion came around, I happened to be a 10-minute walk from the pub where it was to be held. I was a regular there, and still decided that attending wasn't worth my time.
Well done
5 min drive to mine, would not have gone even if I could.
A bunch of women tried to get me to go, I wiggled out of it. I couldn’t think of a single soul I wanted to see there.
I went to the 10 year. Had a good time, it was even held at the school.
That's kinda sad
For those who remember Duck Dynasty, Jase once said "If I haven't talked to you in 20 years, there's probably a reason for it."
U & J's both made good decisions
In his case, it’s probably because they moved away, and he still lives in West Monroe?❤
As someone who was bullied in school, I cannot imagine anything worse than a school reunion. They'd all be there passing pleasantries like they didn't set up a class wide competition of throwing scissors at me because I was reading a book.
I skipped a few, then went to one. All the wankers had shown up, all the interesting people had stayed away. The one nice girl from our year had just got engaged and got an earful from the doofus who’d got herself pregnant during our last year about how martiage changes your life for the worse. I’ve stuck to skipping since then.
I’m with you on this one. Am I expected to make polite conversation with the dickheads who made my life at school hell? Bugger that.
I went to my tenth and told my bullies how they f'ed up my life. 15 years later I am still proud of myself.
Oh Jesus. Scissors??? That is a murder attempt. I hope no one ever has to go through that ever again
My daughter had to have surgery and the nurse who changed her dressings used to bully the hell out of her in school. My daughter was incredibly nervous as she remembered how horrible she was in school.
The fact that Hog's character's school uniform still fits 🤣 loving the sitcom guys returning!
My school uniform still fits me 😀 well it's just the tie really 😂
@@garyneilson1833 I understand, my trousers still fit me, if I wear them as a scarf :)
@@garyneilson1833Going to a school reunion in just the tie? Brave, but cool ;)
@@garyneilson1833at least its not just the scarf.
Good on him for keeping fit.
The best thing about High School was never having to go back once I was done with it. Intercourse the reunions.
Lmao 😂
Real
This should be posted into every school Facebook group when a reunion is mentioned 😂
Literally ANYTHING for that juicy drama hahaha
Omg yes!!!
Yet another reason why I'm glad I don't have a Facebook account. I didn't even know there was such a thing
I need a sequel after the reunion where everyone's expectations have been turned on their heads.
Yeah you think everyone is so sucessful, because of what they post online. I randomly met a former class mate in the train. I knew she was a CEO of some firm and managing a famous restaurant. She told me how a difficult time she had with work and further education.
Never been to a school reunion, never will. I was bullied through school and don't have time for seeing people I never liked.
I can relate to that.
Me too.
Likewise.
They continued to bully me even after I left school. 😲
@@paulconway384 that is some sociopathic behaviour
I didn't want to be in school when I had to be there, now pushing 30 years later I have no intention of going to any kind of reunion. Ever.
"A riot started over there" is a genuine comment that could be said about my school. It made national news in the UK. 😂
Oh my god 😳
Despite still living in the same area (I'm 60) I have managed to dodge reunions. Why on earth would I want to revisit the most ghastly years of my life? I run into teachers quite often, and that is enough,
Hey bud I'm older than you and I haven't been to any either but I will tell you I still live in the same area as I went to school but yet they can't find my address to send me a paper to invite me to their reunions and I've lived in the same place since 1969 why would I want to go to something like that
I’ve taught my girls the old joke - what do you call a nerd 10 years after HS? Boss. It’s made them embrace their nerdiness, ambition, & disdain for high school hotshots & bullies.
One nice story tho - I heard one of our grade school bullies became an Outward Bound counselor. Seems to me he had a lot of struggles as a boy & dedicated himself to helping other youngsters overcome theirs. 💗
I think it's more realistic that nerds end up working for the bullies and popular kids later on in life. I was a nerd in high school and college. Now, as a software engineer, I feel that the higher ups are where they are because of their connections and how they look / talk.
That's not realistic at all 💀
@@edthelazyboy exactly bro
@@edthelazyboywell not most of the bullies, however they do end up working for the popular kids
Redemption! ❤ Love seeing someone turn their life around.
Social media definitely makes school reunions an obsolete concept. Everybody already posts updates on their lives on instagram. No point in wasting time and money traveling to an in-person reunion
Yeah. No point in anyone ever getting together, because life is nothing but fake social media.
“when an inmate gets out of prison…” 😂 10/10 solid reasoning there!
I like the new dynamic between the squatters. 3 guys knowing each other from school feels very natural. Aodhagán as the sly one with strange beliefs, Suits the quirky, but secretly quite smart one and Chris the nice and supportive, but also naive one.
Yeah, but do you not feel this breaks their characters a bit? well excepting Aodhagan's, he still has the same behaviour.
Suits was a gamer and Chris was, well, bit mysterious.
But sure I lived the sketch
Chris was certainly a stranger to them
@@xshayahyawzi3666I think Aodhagán and Suits are the same, just a bit tamer. The Chris in this sketch could also be just a friend with the name Chris visiting them and not the roommate.
The original Chris didn't really fit in and I wrote a little fahnfiction last month for the fahnartchallenge on Instagram, where the squatters and Chris finding his place are also included. I like the sketch, but to me Chris could also be replaced by Arms as Aodhagáns older brother.
Pretty sure theyre not the squatters in this ond
@@celler1296 may be not, but arms is still Chris here and foil looks like Aodhagán from nearly all squatters episodes and is mostly in character.
Only Hog does not look like suits at all.
But nevermind it was fun
Hog really shines in this one! Something about the raised eyebrows and judicious choice of words such as "prudent" 😂
Reminds me of that character in the 'Confronting the school Bully' sketch (or something like that haha)
"Gonna punch her in the face" loved that punchline and loved the delivery 😂
Ahhhh very punny haha, well done 😂
It was beautiful 🥲
How come?? This line totally confuses me... a young man punching a woman?? AEghon must then really be the biggest loser of all!! 🙄
@@tobiMelka They're punching everyone else in the face too remember, men included. It's all a joke, no one's actually debating whether hitting a woman is funny or not (because it's absolutely not, Treat People With Kindness people) 🙂
@@SamFAHntha you mean "punch people with kindness"?? 🤭👍
I was loser in school and still a loser = absolutely not going to reunion 😂
As a lifelong underachiever, I feel your pain.
Same. Still living at home in my 50s. 😂
@@paulconway384😂
Same bro, but despite that im going, might make someone else feel better about themself xD
I wasn’t invited to my 20th HS reunion, despite living less than 45 minutes away. Organizers claimed they didn’t know how to get hold of me. However, my wedding was just a few months later and many classmates were on the guest list. They were all very aware of how to contact me. Feels good. I’m looking at you, Eldorado, Illinois, class of 1989. All my “friends” can suck it.
I hope they stopped being on the list after that
@scientistmilorad9735 Unfortunately, I didn't even know the reunion took place until recently, some 15 years after the fact. A classmate texted a pic to me that was taken at the party. So it was really just an accident that I found out. I'm not sure what I would've done back then about the invitee list if I'd found out about the reunion before the wedding took place. If it happened now, I think I'd be OK telling them all to go straight to hell.
@@kens2328 Damn. Better have honest enemy than a fake friend
Great to see the Squatters crew again! Suits is much more bearable in this avatar, Chris is cooler, and Aragorn is still reliably frustrated but self aware. Nice!
Chris is so cool now though, it sounds like he's lost IQ points 😂😂😂
yeah cause Aragorn was destined to be the king of Gondor and Arnor. He sure will be frustated being stuck in modern times😂😂
If anyone told me Foil, Arms & Hog would be at my School Reunion (not that I'd ever gave any) I'd be there in a heartbeat
That’s the ONLY reason I’d go!
😂 That‘s right! Aren‘t these guys just brillant?!
They went to the same uni though.
Arrived and wasn't fully through the door at our 50th grade school reunion, when a voice greeted me with; "Oh here's the guy who used to get me in a headlock out in the schoolyard." I covered my face and made a u-turn to pretend to head back out the door. Loveliest dude you could meet. I knew the answer but asked him anyway if I had ruined his life. No, looked like he was still a happier person than me despite his wife dying of cancer at the time. I admired him. Then I had a few drinks and had a great time, was glad I went to our reunion.
I left school 20 years ago, I have no idea how I would even fit in a school uniform. 😅
Then again, our school didn’t have a uniform. It was also a terrible place, with unmotivated teachers and students.
I was told consistently I wouldn’t make anything of myself, I showed no interest other than trying to get as many hours of sleep in during class as I could.
All those teacher were wrong, I made a life for myself they can only dream of.
Now for any kid in school reading this, school isn’t bad, education is a good thing. I’ve come across multiple things in life I’ve had to re-educate myself on because I didn’t pay attention back then. But, schools fail to teach us how the system works, how money works. (Unless you have rich parents who sent you to an expensive business school, those kids are thought with a different mindset). Schools are designed to teach you some of the basics and become a cog in society, a sheep in the flock, teachers can’t help it, they are a product of that themselves.
Pay attention in school, but find something you are truly passionate about, it can be anything and think about how that can work for you. Education will get you only so far, educating yourself will get you that extra mile that will make all the difference.
I disagree. School does teach us how the system works. We are drones who go to school-prison so we can get a job-prison to make money for a warden who already has enough money but they are in competition with the other wardens for who dies with the most money. Granted, there are non-system exceptions, mostly by rebels who fought and continue to fight the system their whole lives. And outside of work can be good if you stay away from the system aka pop culture.
Life taught me more than school ever did.
Graduated in '83. Havent been to ONE reunion. I plan to keep that streak intact.
The prison analogy is 100% correct!
We had a class reunion recently and it was quite interesting:
Most of the women looked almost exactly like they did 15 years ago, some even prettier!
Among the guys there were huge differences: Some still had babyfaces and some unfortunate souls looked like 50-year-olds, mainly because of the hair loss.
The most shocking sight however was a guy who apparently never stopped the partying and boozing after his teenage years and looked and smelled like he lived in a crack house. Can't say I didn't feel a bit of Schadenfreude though. That guy was one of my biggest bullies back in school, so I guess karma is real sometimes.
Same with our class bully, once they get their swagger they hold on to it and don´t move on from it.
I wonder if Foil, Arms, and Hog look exactly like they did back in high school. Based on content from 15 years ago, they look the same now as they did right after they finished University. 😂
Alcohol... also no sports or moisturizer.
I just had my 20y reunion from College, and I have the same first conclusion. Girls looked amazing!!! I am definitely feeling better than 20 y ago. ❤
I mean, he cant be doing too badly if he could party non-stop the past 15 years, can he?
It's simple. If you had a great time in school and you think you'll see a lot of people you like, then try to go to your reunion. If you had a miserable time in school, then you have no obligation to go to your reunion (actually it would be stupid to go).
There's this dream that probably every outcast in school has to come back one day as a rock star, a millionaire, a scientist, a famous author,... or at least happily married - just to rub it in their faces they were wrong about you. As long as I've got nothing to show for, I'm not going. I would be right back to being awkward and self-conscious, and I don't miss that feeling.
When my English teacher told me I was "intelligent, but lazy", my entire class laughed at me - and not at the lazy part. A rather immature part of me has been hoping to prove I am in fact intelligent ever since, but how do you do that? You don't by coming to school reunions.
I've never been to a HS reunion and I can say I'm happy to have not wasted the time.
“ when you’re a convict you don’t go back to prison for a reunion’’ Hahaha , that on took me out!
A guy I knew was a total nerd in HS; in college he grew three inches and jointed the judo club and earned a black belt. He went to his ten-year reunion and some of the ex-football players tried to give him a "swirlie" for old times sake; none of them had worked out since HS. He said later, "I probably shouldn't have enjoyed what happened as much as I did."
That never happened.
@@cmdrfunk How do you know?
@@cmdrfunk I wasn't there, but I have no reason tovthink he lied about it.
@@brucealanwilson4121 Probably because grown ass men don't try to give other men "swirlies"
@@xSayPleasex Lots of jocks remain emotionally about 17 until they are quite middle aged.
My high school Biology teacher and English teacher tortured me. To this day. I can not write a sentence with out re-writing it over and over. And, in university, I took biology and passed. And biology was not even required for my degree. Just to prove to myself, that I could pass biology.
My Biology teacher was horrendous to our class as well. I would read the chapter and the test questions would come from either other chapters in the book or the answers were in obscure areas like the photo description. And she punished the entire class because a few female classmates left inappropriate notes on the wall for the substitute teacher who took over for a few weeks while she was sick. The first day she came back was misery for all of us.
The other science teachers weren't that great either. One literally told me I better enjoy being poor if I wanted to work in the sciences, so I changed my career choices only to learn years later that STEM jobs were in high demand and my career field was actually oversaturated.
@@thenovicenovelist I think a core problem with both High school and college educations is they do not provide marketable skills that are relevant to obtaining a job. If someone had pointed that out to me I would have not wasted so much time and money in college.
Why go? I remember two people from my graduating class 50 years ago. Two. And I've had virtually no contact with them during that same 50 years.
Yep just about the same here. I graduated in 61 and most of the kids in that class are now dead. I still live in the area. One was riding his Harley and fell when he hit something and the tractor behind him ran over him. Another bully caught glioblastoma in his 40's couldn't happen to a nicer guy, that sorta thing. The valedictorian turned into an addict. I recognized the name but not the pic I would not have recognized her she was gorgeous in school who woulda thunk it?
I honestly don't think I would even bother to go to either my high school or college reunion. Heck, I barely knew anyone in college lol. Anyways, great sketch once again lads- nice to see another edition of Squatters. You guys definitely deserve a TV show of your own! It's ever too late to revive these dreams once again ;)
Having a TV show would ruin it. They'd be under pressure to keep the ratings up or lose the show. I'd say they are already doing well with sticking to CZcams and doing live shows.
People from my two main schools were having reunions all the time. Turns out I was the only pupil they could never trace or find (until I contacted an old friend 30 years later). I had left the country... still don't get school reunions.
@@impalabeeper I was just kidding with them. Yea, I do agree that having their own TV show wouldn’t be the best for them. They’re very lucky for CZcams
Attended my class’s 40th this summer (only missed 2 over the years). We have a good time; the rivalries are settled for the most part, and now we’re just a bunch of people with shared experience getting together to catch up.
In my work life, I’m one of the “senior” employees. Some days, I feel _antiquated._ So I appreciate being in a room full of geezers like myself. For a couple hours, everyone gets my references.
My 30th was great because I got to see all these old chubbed-out schoolmates, including the jocks and cheerleaders, who looked like they were in their 50s while I looked like I had just turned 40.
So glad I never went to my 20th high school reunion! No desire to reconnect with bullies!
02:16 love the implication that the riot and the stabbing were at the school, not the prison.
I am shit at remembering people, faces, names, I retain nothing when it comes to most humans. So at a school reunion I would be wondering around looking at nearly everyone blankly going 'Who are you then ' and 'Nope, that did not help at all'
My spouse was like that... could NOT remember a name or attach faces to them. I'm exactly the opposite. However I hated school so why go back to visit it? Never did. I only live about 50 miles from it and have never gone back for a look. I do look at it from Google Earth every few years though. Of course its changed a LOT.. Back then no A/C, no heat.. this was in South Florida so really didn't need it at the time. Everything was pretty much outdoors. Nowadays A/C everywhere school is completely enclosed.
@@leecowell8165 That is another very good reason not to go - you are correct high school in itself was more of a time to get through from necessity rather than anything else.
What I hate most is having the same conversation over and over and over again. "Yes, still the same boyfriend, no, still not married, yes it has been a long time, no, no kids, definitely not yet, work for the state, yeah, it's fun, uni finally finished, I know it took a long time". And once you get into something more interesting, people switch and you can start all over again.
I think I'll bring cards this year to skip all this.
I scanned the parkrun barcode of an old teacher two weeks ago. She recognised me, I’d forgotten about her! That’s enough school reunion for me. “Look, Miss! I’m a Director!” (A voluntary parkrun Run Director in charge of 600 people and 50-60 volunteers is still a Director)
"that's enough school reunion for me" made me giggle 😂
2:07 best argument!
My high school permanently closed 16 years after I graduated. Six months before news of the closure was revealed, my school had a reunion to celebrate 40 years. I had no intention of going, but I’m still friends with one of my old teachers and she persuaded me to go. I’m glad I did because it was nice to make peace with some of my classmates and it was fun to give the cold shoulder to my old algebra teacher. I was all ready to ask him if he was still teaching or if he was finally doing something he was good at, but instead I refused to acknowledge his presence.
Never look back, never return.
Oh, that hit home. My 10-year reunion was cancelled because of COVID (yes yes, so sad) and I‘m a bit anxious someone will have another attempt at organising one. Unfortunately, I would definitely go because I‘m too damn nosey 🙈
That's a great reason to go
Haha, same here. Have been to both school reunions we've had so far because I'm nosey and just wanted to know what had become of them all!
I was definitely the shy, nerdy, boring one at school, but I didn't fare that bad in life and have become much more confident since then, so I didn't feel anxious about going. It was also interesting to see that the nicer people all came to the reunion and most of the bullies stayed away. The one bully that did left early. Guess she felt misplaced because her game-playing didn't work anymore.
45th year of freedom. I'm never going to a class reunion. We had a senior class of 90, and most of them are dead. 😢
Would absolutely love to see a sitcom written, directed and performed by you guys!
I went to my reunion and regretted it. No one even spoke to me. I spent the entire evening in a corner with another woman who no one spoke to. We are facebook friends now, but I didn't know her before that day. It was awful. I actually had a friend invite me to an alternate activity that night because she didn't want to go, and I wish I'd taken her up on it. For my next reunion, I'm going to plan a girls night with the people I'm still close to just to have an excuse to get us all together. There is literally no point in going to a reunion unless you were the most popular person in school.
I think the dog ate Chris's character backstory along with everyone's homework 😅
Reunions ‘are just a circle jerk and we’re all squares’ - what a classic!!😂
Squatters trio's lore is always changing, but Aodghán's shirt is forever.
6 years since I graduated from the italian equivalent of high school. During/after covid we started seeing again and now almost half of the old class hangs out quite frequently. We may have lost touch with some, but it's great that we can go along as we were 17 again.
That's quite impressive.
I sure am glad school reunions aren’t a thing here in Switzerland.
Apart from a couple friends from much later studies, I’ve kept no contacts with anyone from my other schools and high schools.
Going to one would feel to me like I’m gonna spend an evening pretending to be interested in the lives of a bunch of total strangers who’s lives I couldn’t care less about. And yet I don’t even consider myself as someone who would have reasons to be ashamed of who I’ve become.
Totally agree about the prison trip down memory lane here. The only thing in a reunion that might bring me a little satisfaction would be if I saw an old bully had become a complete loser…but then I would feel ashamed of myself. So really nothing good I can imagine coming from such an event
Going to high school reunions is a prime example of peaking in high school💀💀🙏🏽🙏🏽
Last "school reunion" I went to - basically a few days after graduating 😂 - one of my teachers laughed in my face when I told him I was going on to study foreign languages, meaning it was the stupidest subject to waste a few years on. I hated that guy... and I still do 😊
Couldn't agree more!
I went both the 10 and 20 year reunions. The sad thing, is that they still believed that I will be the same person that I was at school and I was treated with disrespect as before.
I even organized the 20 year reunion - even though I was not the headboy nor a prefect.
Did not go to 30 year - don't plan to go to any again.
My theory for Foil wanting to put a moustache on every character he plays is so he can increase the chances of new people coming in and thinking it's real 🤔😆
He's really going for realism with those moustaches 😂
He could just grow one....😂
I hope that is his plan. Maybe we should help him and not mention in comments that the moustache is fake.

I was bullied in junior high and early high school. I graduated 44 years ago and will never attend a high school reunion, and never have. Bullying needs to stop and be a felony with harsh consequences.
It's been over 40 years since I left high school. I was a loser, had poor grades, and was relentlessly bullied. Took me 20 years to recover from the trauma. Have never trusted anyone, never had a family. Somehow, I've become a mult-millionaire. I have a much younger girlfriend. Basically, a gold digger.
No. Bullying is nesecary opposite of good to make people do as they are told instead of turning into furries.

This is so true and honest. I never went to any school reunion and never was tempted.
Never been to a school reunion and never plan on going to one either!
I've always said it felt like doing the time for a crime I never committed!
The sporty girls when it was games lessons, VM & JR - always the captains, always chose their buddies first and if you were not part of their in crowd, you were demeaned and chosen last! Form 4 (year 10 these days) was freedom as I could go play badminton with the lads instead of netball with the girls!
I went to my 20 yr reunion In 2006. It was absurd how immature the people were from 18 yrs old to 38 yrs old . They never grew up. Doubt I'll ever go to another one. The only people from high school I care about I still keep in contact with. The rest? Who cares.
Another good thing about being homeschooled is that I never have to worry about reunions!! 😆😆Fantastic tour lineup, how exciting!!! You three deserve a full sitcom, and all the awards to go with it!! you are hilarious!
Hmm that's partly true.... as long as you don't see visiting your parents as school reunio-... Oh I'm so sorry 😂
In homeschool case family reunion would be also be a school reunion.

I lost it when you brought up the idea of a Prison Reunion. LOL
I returned to my hometown after 40 years. I avoided anyone who may have known me at school. One day a complete stranger came up to me "Don't you recognise me?" I didn't. Then he told me his name. It took me all my strength not to say "Oh yes, I remember you. You were one of the little shits who made my life such a misery!!" You see this was in church and he is now a good Christian!! Beware of good Christians. Give me a bad one anytime!! Great sketch. 😊

Well clearly he's changed as we all do. .You sound full of unforgivness though, try letting it go , it was another life .
@sillysewer Just have to answer to this. My daughter's comment was simply "He read your comment!?!"
I don't blame you for your reaction. So many of the girls who bullied me in high school and did all sorts of stereotypical non-Christian stuff are now snooty, judgemental Christian women who treat wait staff and other Sunday workers like garbage, complain about various groups of people who aren't like them, and act like they've never sinned in their lives while complaining about the youth of today 🙄.
I skipped my 10 year reunion and I'll most likely skip the next one as well. The way I see it, if my former classmates and I wanted to stay in touch with each other we would have.
We had a class reunion which was lovely. It was only 10-15 people most of which were extremely nice. Of course some people never change and it’s easy to fall back into old patterns, probably even more so if it’s the whole year, but with just a few people it was really nice. I was a bit of a dick back then because I struggled a lot with social stress, depression etc, and didn’t have healthy coping mechanisms, so it was also nice to have the opportunity to show them I changed and with two of them I talked about it and even had the opportunity to explain why I acted the way i did. They were so nice and understanding about it. It healed a part of me. I never bullied anyone though, I was just generally very angry and frustrated because most people at my school had a lot of money while my parents struggled to buy food at the end of the month. Among other things, but I think that’s mostly why I projected my negative feelings onto my classmates
I love the Squatters sketches!
I've never had a school reunion thank heavens! I just have various friends on Facebook who I don't recognise anymore so I assume I went to school with them! 😂
I sometimes have to look at mutual friends to work out if I knew someone from school or uni... 🥺
I went to a 20 years school reunion earlier this year. It was so nice meeting with my schoolmates. A few of them couldn't make it, so we organized ourselves another one, just for our own class. It was even better. I miss those people, we were a tight nit bunch.
Sounds great!
We had nits as well, but we don't boast about it. We weren't particularly tight knit though.
That's a head scratcher
I worked in a bank and one day I met the former "cool guy" from my class. He grew a huge belly and worked as a delivery driver.
I cannot say that this meeting did not bring me moral satisfaction...
That seems to imply some sort of disdain that a delivery driver is beneath you. Being a delivery driver is just as good a job as any.
@@XEinstein This is hypocrisy on your part.
I have no disdain for any professions.
But you won’t deny that some jobs are more prestigious than others?
Just ask any girl if she wants her husband to work at a gas station or be a financial advisor with a six-figure income.
You must be so fun at parties
I really loved the vibes here. Felt less of a sketch and more a sitcom. It was brilliant
I was 100% on board with everything Aodghán said - but then Suits comes in with his face punching and his discussion with Mr Wall about his 99%... and good god I'm Suits! 😱 Had a surprise gormless laugh at 'its on school grounds'.
They know us all too well, it's not fair 😂😂😂
@@SamFAHntha I feel so called out!
Great to see another chapter of The Squatters. And see you in Prague next week! 🎉 Can’t wait.
See you there!
@@foilarmsandhogsee you, Arms!
I look forward to these every week.
Aodghan makes some very good points about school 😂😂 love this!
Damn, Aodghan really summed up why I'd never go to school reunions.
The best way to avoid a high school reunion is to never graduate.
Or how about just don't go.
I don’t hold any grudges with anyone I went to high school with. I still wish them all the best and hope they’re doing well : )
In high school, the thought of a 30 year reunion sounded like fun. Now it sounds sort of desperate and sad. The only people who care about those things typically peaked in high school; at least in my class.
In 2019 we had a reunion marking 70 years since we started school in country South Australia, which began with dinner on Friday evening, and went through to Sunday afternoon. It was great, as some of us hadn't seen each other for over 60 years, and most of us had gone through the 7 years of primary school together, and the class numbered around 24. Of these, 8 became Registered Nurses, one teacher and a Baptist Minister, an Anglican Priest, and a Lutheran Deaconess.
Had a dream last night where I was at my first next show gig. Arms couldn't be there all of a sudden (he was fine don't worry) and so Foil and Hog were wondering what to do.
I said "if you want, I know Hogwash pretty well..."
You know how I know this is a dream?
BECAUSE THEY SAID YES BAHAHA
So I got up on stage and did all of Arms' lines 😂
I can't sing and don't particularly enjoy deafening people so Hog took over those parts and I did his. It was all so weird? But a heck load of fun 😂
In the interval we figured out an ending and afterwards they said I did a great job 😆
When the show was over, we went to go visit ya and you were happy and sort of proud, but also very, very jealous. Foil rubbing it in your face was not helping either 😂😂😂
I'm not really sure where I was going with this story, but since I'm here I may as well say... Sorry Arms... Foil, Hog, this is my resumé, I can start whenever 😏😌
If it had to be anyone, I'm glad it was you
@@foilarmsandhogOkay I'll just go cry then. That's the best compliment I've ever- please excuse me 😭❤️
@@SamFAHntha Keep it together, keep it together, if you cry now it'll make the singing on stage bits tougher.
A fun alternative to "is there a doctor on the plane?"
"Excuse me Ladies and Gentlemen, is there a comedian in the theatre?"
(Heckler: "I paid good money on the understanding there would be three of them!")
If true, that would have been such an awesome dream. 😁
always good to see another video
Absolutely, you da bomb! 😂
What was your favourite line of this one?
Pissy Cliff 😂😂 It is funny how in reality some people get stuck with such nicknames the whole life 😅
And congratulations on expanding your tour on previously not visited countries! I would be curious to know how you lads feel playing the same show for more than a year - do you miss having some new sketches in the live show every year?
Love it, get to improve it all the time
I once gave a fellow the Nickname Goodbye Horses. It was spot on, so it naturally stuck. I feel bad to this day, with just a tinge of pride.
I haven't been to any reunions and I have the best excuse, 1400 kilometeres (870 miles for you across the sea).
Loved this. It was so funny!
Great sketch! Y’all just keep getting better! I wish you would come to the US!
The sell at the end for the sitcom there 😂 So convincing!
Can't believe he failed the Plugging with Confidence course. 12k down the drain. Tut tut tut 😂
@@SamFAHntha the amount of money they've spent on courses at this point!!
@@Emma_W_ no wonder why they're selling merch now 😂😂😂
Just like Hog, we should all go to these school reunions in our school uniform 😂😂😂😂😂.
Thank you FAH❤
I love seeing these characters. We should get like a monthly video with the squatters.
My Happiest school memory was finishing my last GCSE, ripping off my tie and top shirt button as I walked out of the exam hall, emptying my locker and getting the F out of there, while ignoring all the teachers I passed who were telling me to put my tie back on. What were they gonna do, put me in detention ? Good luck with that........
I've made a guest speech at my school recently, and yes, "trip down memory to prison" is a good analogy. Though I had not been bullied, we had mostly very good teachers and nice classmates, but still...
