He’s used a Stud Buddy to locate a (vertical) stud, gone horizontally across the stud to (another slot) directly below the (new) socket outlet location and then come up vertically. Or, if the new outlet is close up to the stud he’s just passed over, he’ll be in the permitted zone anyway. There’s no way this guy has gone diagonal with that cable. Watch his other vids. Dunno ehy, but this reminds me in my motor control class when we had to set up a dully wited station, and by the next weekend, our professor would take some wire, cut them to where they werent stripped, and put them back in. We had to fix these "gremlins" as he called them, by finding thf mistakes with an ampimeter and restripping the wires. I didnt know we had to use the meter thing, and i just found all the wires in five minutes, fixing them easily. My instructor was disappointed but gave full marks, said the point of the lesson was the learn how to use the ampimeter, and i had completely gone around it.

I like Wago blocks on low current lighting fixtures but still use wire nuts on outlets. Also not a bad idea to wrap electrical tape a couple of times around the levers on the Wago blocks.
