    That clip of Kasper crawling back out that void was hilarious, I’ve never watched anything that’s given me a complete mix of anxiety and humour together like that.
    I’m also a spark but one that suffers from claustrophobia, and just watching him go in there did me in ! 🤣 good video by the way 👍

    Typical sparks, using a big hammer to accurately cut out a buried box.

    Same mate, always admit when at fault. It goes a long way being able to just own it & it’s how you get over them.
    Show me a spark who hasn’t messed up on a drawing especially a kitchen. I’m sure some will say they never have but I certainly have.
    Glad you managed to record this one mate 🤣

      😂👍🏻 cheers jay. Yeah I’m sure there’s going to be a few who say they don’t mess up 🙄😂. At least there’s going to be a wall unit there 😬😂

    I would’ve run a six mil directly into the cooker from the switch and not bothered with the flex outlet plate as they take up too much room for modern cookers and there is no requirement for them

    Hi, just found this channel, great work and presenting, We're on CZcams as well but I'm only at 2.8k subs so you're a little ahead of me, looking forward to the next one

    Indrill a bigger hole in the kitchen unit and fit stuffing glands to stop cables being pushed back out of the box of preventing cable connections getting strain from accidental pulled

    Leave cables in ceiling void, draw a wiring grid when done. Plasterer’s don’t have to skim round cables, sparks second fix nice and easy? Works a treat for us

    • @jamesasquith1147
      @jamesasquith1147 Před 2 lety

      Spot light skim beads best of both worlds
      electrician happy cables are there and spots cut
      No holes with plasterer complaining with cables being in the way plaster going up hole and dry edges

  • @Romeworld95
    @Romeworld95 Před 2 lety

    No idea but I'm thinking you missed the 272 and did the 1000mm straight.

    Couple of things i would do differently although nothing wrong with how you done it just different for me. I would cut a single dry liner in the ceiling for the lost smokie cable because you can get your hand in there for a better fish around, u can then fit the alarm to the dry liner. The kitchen outlets i would have chased in a multi grid box for the appliances i actually think they look good, had loads of clients comment just on the big switch plus its definitely easier. At 2nd fix stage. I always have the cooker hood fuse at the grid also had lamps go and blow the fuse, some hoods are a nightmare to get the chimney off to replace the fuse. Just my 10pence worth 🤣

    As an apprentice myself to my eye from the video it looks like you could’ve missed the gap before the unit and only come 1000 off. Could be wrong tho, everydays a school day!

      @lh2589 Před 2 lety

      Looking atbit and the distance between where he's brought the cable through and where it was supposed to be, this is exactly what I thought. He's just measured 1000 out and forgot the 272 gap

  • @alvinsellors1232
    @alvinsellors1232 Před 2 lety +1

    Thats the sparkys fault. The wires should have been clipped in the right place. Not the plasterers fault.
