Surely there are also lots of variables in this, wholesalers that you use more than others will also give a better discount on certain items. Cable is all dependent on the make I’d pay a few £ more for Prysmian over a less well know. Cheaper brand. With the way cable is currently cable price can fluctuate over the course of a few days it may be some WS are running old stock and others have newer stock bought at higher price.
The MK logic range is pretty expensive which I think you have done your comparison on. I don't use MK much but I have noticed that there is an MK base range which is half the cost of logic range for anyone that interested. I would of expected a higher price from electric centre that's surprising, thanks for the video mate.👌
My firm uses CEF religiously… they fuck up most orders too… I get TLC delivered for my private’s… never had anything missing. Lads in my TLC have been there since I was an apprentice 15 years ago, makes a big difference
Was surprised you saying Toolstation don’t sell 100m 2.5… just checked and they sell both Pitacs and Doncaster (£64.17 or £70 - both plus vat) which (I think) makes them the cheapest at £82.50 inc vat for this test
You seen the customer version of this where they compare quotes from all the electricians in their town and see which one tries to pull their pants down the most.
I've always sworn by electriccentre; decent knowledgeable lads in my local aswell. Crazy to see the price disparity when eddy's and electricentre are owned by the same people (at least near me)
But did everyone quote you Prysmian branded cable? I sell only Prysmian for £64 + vat currently, customers still think your having their pants down.!! So was glad to see this video, bet most were quoting obscene prices for unbranded cable.! On the other hand tho, they don't know you and how many times do you winge at your wholesaler for selling cheap to non trade 🤔 those wholesalers could have just been protecting their regulars in the area.!! My regular and loyal customers always get better terms than those who use you when it suits, or when they on stop with others, or need a rapid delivery. 🤨
Nothing much changes 15 years ago I took a job with a company and was given a company credit card told me I could use any electrical wholesaler in the country except CEF which was a sackable offence😂
@@RDavisElectrical is gone up to £80.94 in 2 months, but the store is 2 minutes from my house and I'd spend more in petrol going to another place that's a 10 mile round trip Plus it's on the same estate as my work so it's ultra convenient It's a really good video though, for the folks who buy this stuff day in day out rather than just the one or twice, the savings can be huge
Why drive all over the place like that. Surely you could have compared the prices from thier websites? Save your diesil and the planet at the same time?

Bro your video short on the cable jointing was incredible. Keep up the good work. Soldering it, crimping it... ah cutting off
Thanks mate 👍🏻
Great Video! Love the effort that you've put into this, I think it will certainly have certain branch managers talking lol!
😂😂 cheers mate, it all ready has 👀😂
given me an idea for a video, cheers.
BTW great video and concept
Not another CZcamsr that wants to steal my idea 😭
I was triggered when CEF weren’t called out. Thought they were gonna be the cheapest 😂😂👋🏼 that CEF tax is real
😂😂😂😂 CEF tax 😭😭😂
Awesome video mate, I don’t have any of those near me down in the valleys only Screwfix or CEF 🤣
😂😂 cheers mate. Surprised you’ve got them tbh 😂
The effort put into this video needs more likes and views. Well done!
Also, BEW is top notch.
Cheers mate.

Rexel : £105.78 Socket £5.92 , Switch £1.88, cable £80.35 all plus VAT , no doubt less if you're a regular spender
Wow! That’s expensive 😳
suprised Electric center came in first expensive our way but service is excellent.
We use yess a lot and they are brilliant
I would love to be a spark. Don’t know why but I think it was fun when I did my level 2 I really enjoyed it. Awesome videos dude
Cheers mate
Get the MK out of town, Click mode £2+vat per socket and switch is less than £1+vat!! 😂 We are East Midlands based though
Not all the wholesale stock it mate, I had to choose something they all had
CEF do not want jo blogs of the street, all about relationships with your local branch.
I ain’t even watched it yet and I’ve liked it
Love it 🙌🏻😂👍🏻
used quickwire stuff, its the bollocks but nowhere stocks it - the bollocks
Would have like to have seen Denmans included in this tbh
MK is expensive! Even to the wholesaler.
You need to blur your customer details when showing tradify, i can see name and address.
Eddies are dearest
i'm getting the house rewired at the moment and on the 3rd of march i paid £77.31 for 100m of t and e
Ouch

Not what i was expecting!
Can you advise which branches you went to? 🤔😊
Why?? 👀😂
Just curious!
Eddies and EC are owned by the same company so I'm surprised there's such a difference 😊
Toolstation do sell 100m of 2.5 for about £72
Not when I checked
For some reason they stopped selling Doncaster on 100m but the Pitac stuff they do as 100m
@@SME_Ste they still do both in my local branch - £77 or £84 inc vat
@@muteposting thats well strange, just checked and its back in. 79.80, bargain
Did you know electric centre is owned by Edmundsons
Yep 👍🏻
And that Yesss is CEF
@@bellas_switch_adapted_toys it’s owned by brothers, one each, not the same tho
@@RDavisElectrical who's funding it tho 😉
Does nobody use Rexel?
Nope 😅
Couldn't you just got a price for everything?
nic sent me 😂
😂😂😂🙌🏻🙌🏻

Got a job for you……got a room with 6 double sockets and 6 light switches 😂😂😂😂 what’s the price
😂😂😂😂😂😂

What a cracking video that would’ve been 🙄😂
What a pointless excercise
