its great to switch it up and never get to comfortable doing the same stuff as an apprentice working in industrial I'll admit I have got comfortable. when it comes to different aspects of the game design testing running a business, working profitable exposure to different products and materials. I think it keeps you sharper. throwing brackets up or setting out trunking and tube for 2+ years does make you a bit numb. Can't wait to get my gold card once you've got it you can pick the work right for you. that challenges you gets you thinking thats how good electricians are made. practicing on what your not good at.
Great to see you finally got some electrical talent on you videos.
To be fair Casper has been struggling a bit carrying you so far, so great to see Mikey step in to help you out.😉
What's good guys. 👊
Nice one chaps at least he turned up to give you hand, new build come on nicely with all the sockets and lights.
Wow guys, with all the YT production, the only person working hard (or hardly working) must have been poor Casper.....? 😀😃😀By the time its done the new builds will be old builds! Sorry, couldn't resist. Nice video! Cheers
Agree Commercial/Industrial generally the knowledge is a higher ceiling there’s more calcs, more to think about, motors ballancing loads, miles of metal munching etc. The whole 5 point PPE, signing in, inductions etc.
However your routes generally are all surface and easier.
Domestic-Generally install wise is a lot easier in terms of technical knowledge but some of the routes and all the aggro you get getting bits from A to B can be an absolute nightmare and some real graft. You know you’ve had a shift sometimes doing the simplest of things & in a finished house 😫🤣🤦🏻♂️ plus the fault finding where nothing has to be labelled and has been messed with by home owners and DIY Dave’s and other trades who think they know stuff.
They both have pros & cons but as Mike said being you’re own boss you’re generally going to find it easier in the domestic market picking up work then commercial for sure
Yeah you’re right mate, both have their pros and cons and both sides think the other has it easier 😂😂
@@RDavisElectrical Definitely pal, the grass is always greener just depends which one your mowing at the time 🤣

A reminder please of your website, maybe put it in the links under the titles, or maybe you don't need to.
Mike, you let the side down!!!! Nick Bundy would be on time.
@@residualelectrical it's what you do when you get there that counts.
Bundy... you av'ing a giraffe.
Plus you have to wait for perfection and once he arrived the whole job went up a notch or three.
