How about 70 year olds?
No creatine. It kills your manhood
My notes: Attentional blinks are basically shifts in attention. For example, if you're driving on a road and You see another car drifting, you are going to look at the other car And it will decrease the attention on your own driving and decrease your performance. People with ADHD have more of these attentional blinks and in order to focus better, these attentional blinks AKA shifts in focus need to decrease. People with ADHD and focus issues struggle with this because they're not seeing the whole picture and someone who has less attentional blinks are more able to understand the full picture of the context of their living experience (In the example of the car, they are both aware of the fact that there is indeed a car drifting, but they are also driving and they understand that there needs to be a conscious choice to pat attention to their driving. Here are some ways to fix this issue: 1) Dilate gaze often (open monitoring). This means focus on a more panoramic view what's in front, your peripheral vision, the ceiling, and the floor. Pay attention to everything around you while also still looking forward. 2) think about breathing, think about How your body feels. What your skin is in contact with in this specific moment. Pay attention to drifting thoughts. 15-20, but specifically 17 minutes minutes has shown the greatest impact and can allow awareness and motivation that will change forever or for the longest time.
Tom is so good than most interviewers like the greatness podcast , and even better than Dr. H. I love when the host sits back and listens without INTERRUPTIONS
Will give this a go. After a few years of panic attacks, i realised i wasnt going to die immanantly while having one, and they stopped. Still suffer from stress/tension.
Why can't we do both; enjoy the effort and envision the end goals at the same time? I don't see any undermine. I see myself building a house, I see the house and how it looks with me in it. Let me get up from writing this comment and actually go do some hard work towards getting that house. I need somewhere to live.
Deca, test, and dianabol.
Fuken a huberman i love you for being so helpful man! Thx for this dude!
This video made me mad💀 bro basically told us to meditate.
Then i couldnt freaking focus the whole video
You know what makes you live longer? Not being stupid.
Get to the point. I got bored and stopped watching.
Did you mean to say:- कर्मण्येवाधिकारस्ते मा फलेषु कदाचन । मा कर्मफलहेतुर्भूर्मा ते सङ्गोऽस्त्वकर्मणि ॥ ४७ ॥ƁHAGVAD GITA 2.47 "You have a right to perform your prescribed duty, but you are not entitled to the fruits of action. Never consider yourself the cause of the results of your activities, and never be attached to not doing your duty."
i thought the guy doing the dead lift didn't actually have perfect form
No exercise make you live longer. Just ask Jim Fixx
Many thanks for the great advices. -P.S.Eating: Fenugreek sprouts also contributes to increase testosterone (and milk production during lactation in females).
Hi! Mr. Huberman Could: you Talk about the Escitalopram Oxilate medicine ("Exodus") effect in the brain?
This bullcrap. Statistics does not look at the complexity of the human body. Statistical correlation is bullcrap.
Struggling to focus while watching this video.. so i came here to comment😂
Everyone is different. As you get older, one has to be very mindful and not over do to avoid injury. Actually, this is true for all ages. I'll be 65 in November. I have been into fitness since I was 18, I am Thankful! I believe it has helped so much throughout my life! I have been teaching fitness for over 30 years and Pilates for 16 years. I'll tell you all... Pilates is awesome! Always listen to your body and eating healthy is super important!
Eat carrots 🥕
if you just started workin out and ur fat as fuck can u still apply this and have positive affects? lol. Askin for myself
I am,,all day..why do you think I dont?
Köszönjük!
Attia scored points here for health priorities. Fitness first then worry about marginal gains such as improved supplementation, etc.
Don’t want big muscles
@5:14 WRONG! Taking over 5gs of creatine will get you diarrhea 🚽🙅🏿♂️💯
What does hanging on a bar have to do with anything lol
Behold, two guys who can read studies
I have no interest in longevity, like why, just looking and feeling “young”, once you’re 60 the games over, this awful life on earth is over
wow groud breaking its a easy version of 5x5 were does this new information come for
It comes from the research of Dr. Andy Galpin. See his full interview with Huberman, including timestamps, here: www.google.com/search?sca_esv=4a188d92a63a9538&rlz=1CDGOYI_enTH927TH927&hl=en-US&sxsrf=ADLYWIJpw4WyGjqxbxAIVDjl6mUYB2JxNw:1716347841343&q=andy+galpin+3+to+5&tbm=vid&source=lnms&prmd=ivsnmbtz&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj8tJP7paCGAxWATGwGHSzDBGgQ0pQJegQICRAB&biw=393&bih=665&dpr=3#fpstate=ive&ip=1&vld=cid:e4ab6690,vid:CyDLbrZK75U,st:0

The world distracts humans from the worship God (almighty). We end being a GODless nation/society.
Dude get to the point
Well thats meditation
Bro forgot caffeine
And here I’m just looking to lose this muffin top 😂 been doing everything and nothing plus the belly . Can anyone let me know exactly how to lose belly fat and muffin top 38 years old 6ft 270
Love the burn, love the learn❤️
5:20 That sounds like a lot.
So, what are thee top 5 exercises?? Answer was not given!
1. Dead hang 2. Squat hold 3. Wall sit 4. Leg extension 5. Farmer’s carry
Question for Andrew Huberman what if someone has or was diagnosed with gout? There has to be an answer.
I have had gout twice. The second episode was prolonged and affected both feet and one knee. Regular doctors told me to avoid purines and/or take the medication to block purines. The acceptable side effects of the meds were not acceptable to me. Also, if you try to eat a diet without purine containing foods you will not only eat bland stuff, but food without concentrated nutrition. I did the counterintuitive and almost opposite and went paleo/keto. I used to eat rice and bread everyday and now only in very rare circumstances will I touch them. The gout cleared up and my flexibility and endurance increased and blood pressure spikes disappeared . I was never fat, but my weight went from 235 to 195 and I have 6-pack abs with out any loss of strength. I'm 63 yr old/young. I rehabbed my feet and knee with ballet I recommend it.
I'd get bored real fast, waiting 3-5 minutes in between sets. I'm curious what's the benefit of waiting so long for recovery?
Many thanks for this very practical tool. I will try it out. As you say, mindfulness, meditation and exercise are great, but life happens. It takes a loooong meditation practice until that level of awareness translates to your unconscious habits and stress responses to f.i. trauma triggers 😊.
A lot of bla bla bla and I still do not know the 5 exercises to boost longevity.Very misleading....
What is VO2Max??????????
These guys are too young to know to know what helps older people. Research is not a panacea. Doctors know what their taught. Do something you enjoy and get your heart pumping, stay away from drugs and alcohol, laugh more, hug more, eat less, and have sex safely. The rest is probably out of your control.
Andrew Huberman asking Peter Atila about obvious stuff neither one remembers. With crappy background music that makes facts even more undecipherable. There are thousands of better videos on this subject. BTW: can anybody actually name and describe the five exercises they recommend? I got too annoyed to suss them out.
For me, closing my eyes while doing this breathwork works even better
This is a high level distraction generator
What does Neuroscience have to do with facial structure, nasal breathing, topics that doctors like ENT, Sleep specialists, Plastic surgeons who train for years know a lot about? It's an attractive topic for the masses, but Dr. Huberman, why not stick with the field of your study and leave the medical advice for actually qualified professionals?
Entire video = meditation 😊
Is this the officual channel of sir huberman? Or it is some fanmade channel, is this monetized?
