    Great video, I think the ability to utilize top down mindset is very important. Your right I believe looking ahead at where you will be or end can also be great motivation. David Goggins is so inspirational, because as he explains that almost everything he has to do has been challenging. The never give up attitude is so great .

    There's something about the spirit of self-control in "top down" thinking. Thank you. This is interesting 🤔

    I once trained hard like David G and I ended up overtrained and injured. As with anything in life it’s all about finding a good balance. I love exercising and I train hard but smart

    • @RespireOfficial
      @RespireOfficial  Před 8 dny

      That sounds like a good approach! You definitely want to avoid overtraining and injury.

    • @Wintr66
      @Wintr66 Před 6 dny

      If you get injured from exercise, you’re not exercising correctly, you only get injured when you don’t have correct form or technique. What you have explained is an excuse as to why you aren’t working hard enough 🤷🏽‍♂️ respectfully

    • @jonpageable
      @jonpageable Před 6 dny

      @@Wintr66 do you know what overtraining is? It’s different to being injured. And regarding injuries it just depends what the injury is. Some can be caused by technique, others can be from overuse like tendonitis

    • @Wintr66
      @Wintr66 Před 6 dny

      @@jonpageable did you see me mention overtraining? Or did I mention getting injuries comes from incorrect form and technique? The same response can be given for both of your training incorrectly and pushing your body over its limit you’re going to get injuries, if you don’t acúlate your body into the intense training you want to emulate then you’re going to get injured, there are no short cuts, you’re not working “smarter” you’re working with excuses because you don’t want to put the hard work in 🤦🏾‍♂️
