is the ship all one health or is it each piece has its on health?

There are several versions of this as of the date I post this. The most recently updated one (in May 2024), ValheimRAFT, by Zolantris, is bugged - unless it's having some sort of conflict with the few other mods I was also using at the time I tried it out. Haven't tried the others but they don't appear to have been updated for quite some time.

Can you still play with friends when you install mods to your game ? Or do they also need to install the same mod.

I played this game long sgo but life got in the way. Im back and currently making my wizard viking. When ive beaten the last boss the normal way, i'll do a normal melee viking and play it this way on a new world. Then i'll just copy my boat over to my normal world when im done. This is my way. Love the freedom you can have in how to play this game.

Something comes over me whenever I see heavily snowed/ icy landscapes. I LOVE living in the Deep North, building a small longhouse, camp, forge and just being "lost" in the middle of that tundra, is awesome.

Buggiest Mod EVER! Do not install this mod. I've been using it SINCE IT WAS RELEASED. Even the mod author says it's bugged and there is no solution to the issues. All forks are also bugged. On GitHub it shows that it's broken, as it's always was. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE THIS MOD but it becomes unplayable after a while... you will have to start over a lot of times.

its a terrible idea if u ask me, cause 1 serpent will end all ur progress in one single stroke of bad luck. as a solo player u have no one to shoot at the dam thing while u drive

its a great mod, but it lags tf out of you if you make it too big. it sucks tbh

What's the point of nomap if your enabling portals? I started a NoMap no portals immersive + run and it's been amazing. Best way to play this game. Everything feels much more significantly rewarding and worthwhile. We have a very large portion of the begginer island mentally mapped out and pathed. Found haldor & elder boss ring. Path to that as well. Keeping portals out with nomap makes the playthrough extremely nomadic. Always a new outpost. Feels like a linear progression of adventuring "inland" or out to sea.

This seems like a great 2nd playthrough mod. Still on my first Real run since i tried back when it first released, but it was so tedious i couldn't justify coming back and doing backtracking forever (was more managable with playing with others, but another problem arose instead, people wanting to progress and explore while i did the building and such, not fun still having deer armor when another player has full iron set already). Now with some QOL mods, like portals instantly connecting to a main default one, and a drop down menu to switch to which portal you want, as well as longer portal names avail, and ore progression so you can teleport ores after youve beat their respective bosses. Auto stack items to nearby chests, view all chests within a certain distance at once and a few others). Im still doing a lot of grinding and the core aspect of the game is there for me still. I can just enjoy the exploration and other aspects a bit more rather than Going to different chests looking for the item i need and sorting loot into different boxes, building being a pain etc. Im surprised they didn't have you wait the full in game hours in bed because "in order to sleep it takes time, and we wanted players to get immersed" like, the game has a lot more potential and could be alot more fun, but no, to garden you need to space them out all individually yourself one by one, and other activities will have to be postponed for god knows how long, unless you want to skip some content and just progress as fast as possible, or choose days where all youre doing is just the small tedious tasks instead of enjoying the exploration and other content the game has to offer.

It would be crazy to see someone make like a full game within valheim. Similar to how people have modded minecraft, like valheim is a fantastic game but if you think about it its also like the perfect platform to make a game from aswell, like you could build a whole rpg map in it and mod in some npcs for quests and stuff
