- Here are 7 of my FAVOURITE Valheim Quality of Life mods that will make you Valheim Experience SO ENJOYABLE, while NOT breaking your game and adding a TON more things to do and much more replay-ability.

You can either manually download each mod (using the links below), or just download a Valheim Mod Manager called "R2ModMan" and you can use this mod manager app to search for each of the mods below and install the mods within the r2 application after opening it up and making a local profile (I highly recommend this). You can get R2 here: thunderstore.io/package/ebkr/...
Then just search for the mod names (in the links below) and single click install them - will take you less than 5 mins. EASY PEASY!

BepInEx is basically a place to put your mods and configure/customize them. Think of it as a framework for all the mods to live together and work together.

"Craft from Containers" and "Auto Fuel" (alont with many other mods not present here) can all be replaced by a single mod. *_"Valheim+"_*
And instead of "Mass Farming" I recommend "CropReplant" that lets you mass harvest, and auto replants the crops if you have the required components (veggies or seeds).
Valheim+ can do alot of these things for you, so you dont necessarily need that many mods. A few thats essential to me are: InteractWhileBuilding (open doors and chest with a tool in hand), PlantEverything (plant berries, shrooms, thistle whatever but at a high cost, so its well balanced) and EquipmentAndQuickslots (dedicated slots for armor, gear and food))

@@JellyJamBoyGaming Yes and doors - its kinda silly that you have to put the hammer away to open a chest vanilla, especially since you can open them with a weapon and shield in hand

Nice one Jelly! I didn't know most of these mods. I would add to the list: Clock mod by Nexus, ColourfulSigns by Tekla (makes reading signs sooo much easier).

The original Simple Recycling by ABearCodes is no longer updated. Im glad you got the link to the fixed version. This understated mod is actually OP when used in conjunction with Epic Loot, as you can get all the materials you need by deconstructing loot. Need a couple hundred iron for an epic plains build? Go on a hunting trip to the mountain biome, bring back all the loot and recycle it. Thats all your iron, transported. Done and dusted.
Yeah I made sure to link all the up to date mods, I just thought giving them the new fix names would be weird! Oh that’s OP, but could be really nice for some players who just don’t have the time to grind swamp dungeons like the rest of us 😂😂😂 great point!!
@@JellyJamBoyGaming Also makes metal easily transportable. No messing with Valheim configs, or extra mods required.

holy crap these are some really nice mods. I am a vanilla purist, but i might crack from these mods. These don't even seem detached from the game, like they should be part of the game. A lot of these can be implemented with tiered systems to if the Devs worry about imbalance in time.
-Tables can only link to X chests based on its table level.
-Chest, Smelters and Furnances have to be upgraded to link, and higher tiers allow a bigger network to link
-Mass farming can be done with better tier of the cultivator, like Iron verion, black metal version, etc.
-Floating items and ocean combat, can be an item you can purchase, craft, or collect later in the game.
-Simple recycling, can be a recyling table, or a special crafted piece that allows it.
These are all really great additions.
Wow man, you need to talk to the devs, your ideas are perfect! These things need balancing for sure and tiering them seems like the best way to unlock these abilities!

make the game way easier but on other hand also more fun?
I think it’s a feature that will come into the game later in its development. This is my rationale for adding it to my playthroughs!
The recycling from gear makes sense as it is in alignment with recycling building materials. However, it will enable you to take metal through portals, so there needs to be a way of addressing that. Perhaps if you recycle gear you only get 50% of the materials back.

@@JellyJamBoyGaming exactly what it does 👍🏻 only backdraw is if you have an ordinary and a tower shield in your inventory, it usually equips the tower shield

Is the recycling broken after patches? I ca not get it to work.
There may be a patch, have a look on nexus or thunderstore to see if there is an updated version of the mod for the current version of the game :)
This is the only annoying thing about modding a early access game that gets constant updates but usually the fixes are easy to find!
