- I spent 100 days in Valheim, a viking survival game where you try and survive a HUGE and dangerous sandbox world steeped in Norse mythology - Only thing is - I've modded it....
I fight my way through the last three biomes of this early access game which have been brought to life with the help of Valheim's most popular Modpack: Journey to Valhalla. Wait till you see all the adventures I go on, and all the sticky situations I have to get myself out of on my adventure to meet Odin.

Only a couple minutes in but really enjoying the storytelling that goes into this. It really brings the mods to life. Having only played the vanilla game near "launch", getting back into it is like getting into a brand new game all over again with all the small changes they've officially made. That's one playthrough from scratch I'll do, and then thanks to how excited your videos make me to try modding I'll have to do a third playthrough with a mixture of those. Guess I'll be busy for a while! Thanks for your enthusiasm.

Thank goodness for mods. Devs are actually taking forever. After normal Valheim, I'll def try out these mods. Wish it was official.

Hey great video! I have a question for you. I'm using Dual Wield (with both skills - the vanilla and the Dual - on the exact same level) however I'm hitting a lot less overall when using 2 knives than when I only use one of them... (example: 0.5 + 4.6 VS 7.2). Do you need to change anything in the config in order for this to balance out? How did it go with the dual swords? Where they better than just one?
That’s really odd! At the start I found the dual wielding to be weaker for sure, but stick with it cuz it starts becoming really helpful, I now do WAY more damage with two swords vs 1!
Knives are weird, I think it may be a knife thing! I haven’t gone into the dual wield config at all (I don’t even know if there is one) but if you find it, just bump the knive damage up a bit or bump the skill level damage multiplier up a bit, I’m sure there’s some way to hit a bit harder!

For some reason i dont get the mistlands version at this day and age
as content creator i can see how much u did put into that video . its so sad that video don't have millions of views . i was shocked when i saw 3.4k view . valhiem devs is really made me very sad for keeping game behind like this

I’m not gonna lie I was pretty disappointed with the view count at the start but I don’t think there’s anything more I can do about it, as you said yourself, the player count is just so low these days! I still love the game and making videos for the game though so hopefully it will get more popular again in the future! :)
do i just need to install Journey to Valhalla or do i need the other 5 mods with it
If you want the additional mods just install JTV first and then the other 5 after!

@@JellyJamBoyGaming Did you have any issues with mod incompatibility? Dual wield and some other popular mods are listed as "incompatible" with epic loot.
@@wheatonrunner69 Hey dude! At the time of recording dual wield would load with epic loot but you’re right I noticed this myself last week that dual wield now doesn’t load if you have epic loot installed :( dual wield is just a bonus So I would pick epic loot over it if only one can be ran at a time

this is cool and all but makes it look WAY to easy.. where the difficulty???? any mods for that?
Oh it’s hard, I added an extra mod just to make it easier for me being a solo, the mobs are built for groups of players, so it’s HARD. The mod I added was epic loot so I could enchant my weapons and armour and actually stand a chance, without it the difficulty jump to the Mistlands was insanely hard and really fun
