A vlog about our travels on the UK inland waterways on our 57 feet narrow boat, Maggie May.
As continuous cruisers we live aboard and move location at least every 14 days. Our aim is to complete all the navigable canals and rivers, including tidal estuaries over the next few years stopping off at local places of interest, walking to local landmarks etc.
We have holidayed over the last 20 years, caravanning and motor homing our way around this island we live on, and we are hoping using the canal network, as opposed to the road network, will give us a new perspective on our country.

A winter cruise from the urban environment of Stretford, Sale and Altrincham out into the countryside to the estate village and grounds of National Trust property of Dunham Massey. Then on to the village of Lymm.

A cruise through Blackburn, starting in Rishton and on to Riley Green, west of Blackburn including a few relics of our industrial past suich as Imperial Mill and Daisyfield Mill. Descending the Blackburn Flight and passing an abandoned boat, a jet ski and telephone box covered in wall paper!

Continuing now mission to traverse The Wigan Flight ina small time window, we set off from Hapton, cruise through Church and on to Rishton. Passing some amazing canalside artwork and massive 19th century coking plant opposite the old Aspen Colliery Oh and we had a scary issue on board whilst setting off one morning too!
