Calveley to Tiverton on The Shropshire Union Canal

Frosty , icy and snowy , mid January cruising, stone locks iron locks, a castle and a rarely seen animal behaving badly towards the end!

I’ve never seen a mink in the wild, let alone one hunting.
Invasive mink are eradicating our water voles. To the point of extinction sadly.
I couldn’t make out if it had caught a water vole (water rat) or brown rat. Brown rat I hope.
