"So what are we eating here?"
"Swede".
[two Swedes look at each other nervously]
Hahaha yeah that was one second of confusion
@@NomadSweden 😂
Swede is just a nickname for turnip. Us Brits called it swede because it's a reliable winter vegetable (much like the Swedes :D )
@@SgtSteel1 it is short for swedish turnip very similar to our regular turnip, just usually bigger and more creamy/earthy coloured :D
interchangeable in most cooking though! :)
@@RaptorJesus. I know, it was an attempt at a joke. You know, vegetable being another word for... oh nevermind.
I’m Aussie . That young Aussie pushing a wheelbarrow brought tears to my eyes . Thank you for taking the time to ask him what and why he was doing it i like you guys .
Thanks, yes that guy is fantastic. Follow him on insta

Super video, tack pojkar!
I landed on this video completely by accident, and am so happy that I did! What an amazing video of my country, so glad that you enjoyed despite some of our customary weather 😄 The world needs more people like you guys and your positivity!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Same it just popped up😅
But when is the next part? It says they did the whole UK top to bottom?
same it was so relaxing to watch and I loved getting to see the beautiful countryside that's my home
What a fantastic video cheers lads.
As a native Brit I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for exploring and appreciating this great island. One day I wish to explore the beauty that Sweden has to offer.
Thanks and welcome
Native brit? 🤣trace your ancestry back mate your blood line once immigrated to Britain.
As a guy from Newcastle i like fy fan.
@@kotai12that’s true for everyone if you go back far enough (which in the case of the English is 1,500 years and the Celtic peoples 2,800), so presumably you disagree with the idea of ‘native’ as a concept?
These are the absolute best kind of travel videos. Sensitive to the area, interested in the food and history, no over the top sentimental music. Just friends travelling and eating together.
I love seeing other nations experiencing our country, I think us Brits need to be prouder of where we live than we are.
Same here. My own country I easily forget
Most of my friends here in Suffolk rarely leave their town, same for friends in London. Then they say how awful the UK is. They have no idea what's out there.
I feel like I'm looking at a work of art for 45 minutes.
Cheers 😊
Great video! As a UK biker it was nice to see my country from your perspective.
In 3 or 4 years span !!! 3 governments got saked … That what you wanted to tell us …
@@user-eo7dc9jj7u.... what???????????????????
Yeah man that’s one of favourite things about this video is non Brits enjoying our beautiful country, embracing the culture and some of the slang haha. Heart warming stuff
@@user-eo7dc9jj7u ..Inane comment...don't spoil the video with your silly politics.
For me the grass in the UK has such a lovely colour to it and quite unique hue compared to anywhere else I've visited
Indeed. Greenest place I’ve been
its because of the rain
@@andrewmcewan8081
Apparently not.
There are many places with the same amount of rain that aren’t as green
It’s the Gulf Stream.
The UK is as far North as Alaska but much warmer due to the Gulf Stream
Because of this, plants that can live in a warmer climate can grow here but because the UK is so far north, the sunlight is not as strong. So plants have to make more chlorophyll to survive. Chlorophyll is also what makes plants green.
@@Spiklething Thank you . Explained that very succinctly.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of you guys. Thank you for letting me come along with you on your fantastic and beautiful journey. Stay safe, take care, Tony here in the UK 🇬🇧

The last time Swedish men went on a tour of the UK, things didn't go this smoothly and peacefully. Great cinematics.
😊indeed so
The Vikings that came here were not Swedish, but Danes
@@Anglo-Mountaineer007 And the Norwegians!
@@freebornjohn2687 Yup. Viking raids (and later land conquests) mostly came out of modern day Denmark and Norway. Swedes generally raided in eastern Europe such as Russia. Also Finland and the coastal Baltic states.
@@Anglo-Mountaineer007 I’m a Scottish woman who took a DNA & outside of the USA & Ireland & GB & the commonwealth countries , Norway followed by Sweden has my most DNA matches over any other European country.

On the rare occasion of blue sky and sun shine, I do think the highlands are the most beautiful place I’ve seen, and I’ve travelled a bit.
Indeed, loved it
The Scottish Highlands are beautiful, but it is the Welsh valleys that wins 'most beautiful' for me. I've always imagined that they were Tolkiens' inspiration for the Shire. The British Isles are very underrated for their natural beauty.
That honour can be shared amongst a few locations across the UK, from the Highlands to the lakes, Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Cotswolds. We're lucky to have such places.. I'm happy these guys got to see Castlerigg on a clear day, it's absolutely divine!
What a fantastic video !!! Watching from Canada where i live now. I grew up in England and trained on Otterburn and Brecon Beacons in Wales with the British Army in the Infantry. I can say wholeheartedly i have never seen Otterburn with any Sunshine. My knees and Back still ache from all the hiking with weight over those hills in the pouring rain. As the saying goes if it ain't raining it ain't training. Weather report for the day is "it is either raining from left to right or right to left". But don't worry "you were born wet" was what my Dad used to tell us!!! Thanks for a wonderful reminder of how lovely the Uk still is, glad everyone treated you All well.
Thank you for your story! I enjoyed it without envy 😊
Rain? Why worry? Our skin is waterproof.

I am a huge fan of Norway and Sweden,[I have some swedish blood]. I was introduced to the north west coast of Scotland by my Father who was a mountaineer. It is such a beautiful area, you missed the deserted beaches. My Father was on an expedition to Lyngen, in Norway in 1951, and named a mountain after me, `laurettatind.', it is in the `Jakkevarra' range. I love your video and look forward to more.
