Artemis Program Progress in 2023 + Will the Moon Landing Get Delayed?
It's been more than a year since Artemis 1. Where does the Artemis program as a whole stand at the end of 2023?
This video will briefly go over Artemis 1 and some lessons learned, but also the crew selection and training for Artemis 2 and the current status of hardware for that mission.
Finally, this video will also discuss potential changes to the program, changes that could shape the future of Artemis.

Gullible Americans I swear...being fooled by the American government once again😅
Can you make a video about the H-IIa Transfer vechicle and the ATV?
I feel like you could go there faster if you just went straight to the moon the first time. Just point the rocket at the moon.
It's just a flyby and testing it...
I always will say Apollo no matter how dangerous was way cooler. The way that they decided to go to the moon in just 3 days using a more powerful rocket and orbiting with men after just a few missions on an Apollo 8. Now it will take 2 weeks just to do a flyby and with a less powerful CSM, I don’t care how inclusive it is it just isn’t as exciting knowing we’re going for a downgrade
Perfect Machine. Thank you very much 230324.

Song hallman above all
Thanks for clener clody❤💕💕❤❤
there's a spaceman waiting in the sky...
quick question can i make an KSP version of this using the same audio?
Ive done this in kermit apace program
Tianzhou-7 launched 3 days ago...
It’s such a tragedy that we always have billions and billions to spend on our wars and the wars of others, but not for space. Such a collassal, tragic waste. If we took all the money we paid to weapons contractors over the past 10 years and had given it to NASA, there would be a human outpost on Mars right now.
We need to start somewere
Its not yet ready but i like how rustic it look compared to the starship😊😊
🤨 only for China not suport by the international people
What happened to the Apollo 17 segment at the beginning?
It's back! :-D
If BO does get their act together, I look forward to more competition in the industry. Buying launches from a monoopoly will not be a good thing.
Ballistic descent mode is quite rough compared to a normal descent mode.
IMO the escape tower should be jettisoned after the boosters have shutdown and separated.
12:45 That door won't be open much longer, ULA is expected to get rid of the Delta IV tooling once the final Delta IVH mission launches in the coming months. The supplier base has been shut down for at least a year at this point, so ordering more ICPS would require standing that up again, which is quite expensive, and that money is not in NASA's current exploration budget. Unless the agency reverses their current policy in the immediate future and asks for additional ICPS money, then the option is pretty much dead. When NSF's Phillip Sloss asked about this a couple of months back the response he got was: “Although the contract with Boeing and their major subcontractor United Launch Alliance for the first three interim cryogenic propulsion stages provide the option for NASA to procure a fourth interim cryogenic propulsion stage, the agency is not pursuing purchasing hardware for a fourth flight of the SLS Block 1 configuration.” When Jim Free was again asked about this less than a month ago at NAC HEO he said they are no longer able to procure any more ICPS and they are pretty much locked in with EUS for Artemis 4. This contradicts Tory Bruno's statement that you showed but probably describes what the agency is planning (or not planning in this case) internally.
Well done and very informative. I’ve been watching the opposition for a while now but learnt more from this video. Keep going and you’ll get there 👍
Good video thank you
Thanks for watching!
@@OrbitalVelocity Very well done!

How many more years of delays will it take for you to become a skeptic?
Is there an original video to this animation or did you animated this?. Thanks
This was part of a video from an Artemis mission scenario simulation on NASA's Technical Reports Server. ntrs.nasa.gov
One thing I take from Artemis I was that I was mesmerized by seeing the earth from the perspective of the moon and knowing that everything that we know, all our history, and our faiths is all on our blue sphere and that someone can cover up our planet with their thumb, showing that we are minute compared to the cosmos and we need to take care of our planet for future generations.
I envy your LEGO collection! Great videos btw, very well done
Thanks!
Great video keep it up
Thank you!
Bezos knows how to spread the bribe cash around Washington, and politicians are wh()res.
Who will be the launch provider
While I don't yet have any faith in Blue Origin (and still not all too confident in Starship either... seriously, it needs several additional launches to refuel it just to get out of low Earth Orbit!), we also have to remember that Grumman was lampooned as well while it was struggling, delayed, and over-budget on the original Lunar Module, until finally it worked. I have no doubt this lander will be delayed as well, more likely to 2030, but... from a design standpoint, I'm far more optimistic with this than SpaceX's desperate attempt to appear sleek and cool.
Wow
Unbelievable how pessimistic the YT community is about space travel. Can’t watch a single video without baseless comments from brain dead idiots claiming everything will fail because they said so.
What about boostback?
Beautiful
Im really excited for the colonisation of the moon
Furthest a human has gone from earth? Or did apollo 11 orbit further
This is the farthest because it is going 300 thousand kilometers passed the moon I think
Are the boxcars loaded with Tang? The drink the astronauts took to the Moon?
I wonder why you made the capsule green
What about the space junk attacked on the new Space station. Any protection guidelines 🤔
So cool!
Go NASA , ARTEMIS 2 rocket on space mission ... constructor MileR 001 ...
Maybe there wouldn’t be so many wrecked space craft on the moon if they quit making them out of tin foil
Blue Origin has an alternative project name for this program. "Pie In The Sky."
If there once second time should be easy😊
Progress is 7.48 meters long, some 35 cm longer than Soyuz because its gruzovoi otsek (dry cargo pressurised compartment) is longer than Soyuz. It has an enlarged cylindrical section connecting the two hemispheres of the compartment.
