  • Experience the sound of SpaceX's Falcon 9 launching the Axiom Space all-private crew to the International Space Station. This video uses binaural audio, so be sure to put on headphones for the full experience. The launch was recorded from Kennedy Space Center's press site about three miles away from Launch Complex 39A.
The Ax-1 mission launched at 15:17 UTC (11:17 a.m. EDT) April 8, 2022, from Launch Complex 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Aboard were four private astronauts: Michael Lopez-Alegria, Larry Connor, Eytan Stibbe and Mark Pathy.

While I was in Florida for the Axiom Space Ax-1 mission, I attempted to capture some binaural audio at the NASA press site. It isn't perfect, but I wanted to try something a little different while I was in the area. Let me know what you think and if you'd be interested in more content like this every now and then in addition to my regular videos.
