Did you use APP beforehand? Or is that just for paint?
@@79blustone APP is only for paint and not glass.
Woah 😮 😍😍
So a 9mm is not ideal for it? That's the lowest i have, not in the market for buying a tool that i will not use (besides this) at all :/ Shame, as i would like to try it, hand applying is out of the question
@@victoryensured7137 you can use 9mm like a Griots polisher.
@@MikeGDetailing Thnx Mike! In my country sandpalmers are like min 40$, and i bought my 21mm Vonroc for 55 so that why i was grumpy :) Really interested in this one, wonder how much more performance i can get from a coating using this vs Gyeon Primer and Essence
It's the prep work
Been away from detailing for a while since moving and picking up a new hobby. Just picked up some Hero to try.
I absolutely love it!!!
Hi Mike. I'm Peter, a fan from Slovakia (Europe). I saw your video on CZcams how you apply CARPRO DLUX to interior hard plastics. I would also like to do it because I hate greasy protections and I need to liven up the plastics a bit. But it is not very clear from the video how the coating behaved later, or after a month. I'm worried if it won't be too shiny around the dashboard, or if it will peel off or form a crust over time on the softened plastics/vinyl on my 2007 VW eos. How did it behave over time? Well thank you.
@@PPGG136 I only applied it to that one area of the hard plastics. I did not apply it to any soft plastics or vinyl. CarPro does have Cquartz Leather 2.0 which would be a better option for those softer areas and it won’t look shiny. It will make them look better.
First rinseless wash i ever tried, was with ECH2O. I've tried supposed " the best out there", but always come back to it. Have a dark blue suv, coated with MOHs Evo, and the gloss after the wash is excellent. Other positives I've noticed, is the minimal spotting after a rain shower, and bird bombs sliding right off, with minimal effort. I use just a little under 2 ozs in 3 gallons of DI water. 15;1 makes a good quick detailer to keep in the car. LOL, i also use it on the inside of windows. Great job giving this product the exposure it deserves.
I will have to add this to my list of products. Thanks for the review.
It is great to see you use Hydra and give your feedback. I think it is a great time for detailing with all of the rinseless washes on the market and we really are able to split hairs and find our favorites. I need to try this one still but overall everything I have used from Phoenix has been good. Thanks Mike!
@@FredShramovich thanks. So many good options these days for a rinseless wash.
Mike I bought gallon of adam’s soap and a gallon of chemical guys pink soap for foam canon Can I use those for rinseless wash? What would be the ratio with water?
@@Dee_Cee227 unfortunately they won’t work as a rinseless.
@@MikeGDetailing ok I’ll order the one you featured in your video. One more question. Benefit of using distilled water vs regular water for dilution? Thanks bud. Liked.

Hey mike another great video, i have a question for you? i have diy detail 5 year, ADS pro, nasiol rs53, and some no hype 3 year coating which would you recommend for my own vehicle being a black audi sq5. Any help would be great. Cheers Clint
@@clints8888 ADS Pro would get my vote. Not as easy to apply but worth it. Be sure to have multiple applicators on hand to cycle through them. It’s a great coating. If you meant ZR53 that one has a very nice application and is slick. Think of the application process like Crystal Serum Light or Mohs Evo. I can only speak to the application of DIY 5 year and it’s very user friendly. I can’t comment on longevity as the owner who came by for a coating application never reached out to me.
Roll on to 5K subscribers for Mike G 🤘. Can't say I'll switch from Hero and Idrosave as they are super rinseless washes. But it's always good to see more rinseless coming to market. I've got the same Marolex pump sprayer as its sooo good! I'm rinseless washing 90% of the time now, cobb webbs are starting to appear on all my other chemicals and products 😂. I simply enjoy rinseless washing.

Does it stain your wash media like idrosave?
@@barrybij8079 no it does not. It has no protection built into it like Idrosave. It’s the silica and how it interacts with oily grime in that causes this with Idrosave.

Great video! I typically do Rinseless in the way they suggest to (two bucket) because it's by far and a way the safest approach - we rarely just get dusty dirt in the UK. Although I can absolutely see the single bucket/multi cloth if you're washing weekly etc. I was amazed that V2 actually went to market, it was so bad.
@@SuperchargedLlama thank you.
Damn Mike I always learn something from you and look up something cool like the funnel screw on for the bottles, just wanted you to know you're appreciated and I really like to chill and watch your vids! Keep it up man!
@@victoryensured7137 appreciate it.
I really dislike the more polymer rinsless washes, they kinda,,clog" my sponge and my bucket, they both feel,,oily" after a few washes, Absolute did it enormously and I truly hated it, and I feel it clogged also the coating on my daily (Gyeon CanCoat Evo) and masked it hydrophobics. I wanted to try this one though but it's funny how a company originating from Germany wich is well established here doesn't have this product here in Europe yet. It's annoying and probably why I shy from their products, shame. I know europe is a smaller market for rinsless but I mean cmon, it's growing, still huge shipment prices for ADS and weak availability just disappoints.
@@victoryensured7137 if the dirt and grime on the car aka traffic film is on the oily side a polymer rinseless will behave in this manner where it makes the sponge slimy. I find it strange that Absolute masked the coating as it does not have any protection in it. What you could be seeing is that it’s not a strong enough cleaner to remove the road film.
@@MikeGDetailing Mike that's a super valid point, maybe its the coating itself that is clogged and i need to use a more alkaline product, or an acidic one! Thank you for your time and input, i will try this soon. And sorry if im a bit ,,complainy" lately :)
