Mike! Glad you like it and thank you for the video on HERO. A little comment on the outro. We tested HERO against McKees V2, if you do a non subjective test with each on a separate panel with the same style wash media, and rub each with a different hand at the same time. You’ll realize how much slicker HERO actually is. But it’s interesting based on memory you feel McKees is more lubricating.
@@armourdetailsupplywhat would be the advantage of purchasing Adapt if Hero can be diluted into a waterless wash at 64:1? Looking forward to trying HERO once available. Thanks.
@@RL-ju9ye If you want something that leaves protection behind, and is more waterless focused. ADAPT leaves extreme slickness and hydrophobic protection behind. If you want a pure waterless, HERO is a good option diluted appropriately
Nice review. Glad it doesn't leave behind protection and is just a nice, slick clean that doesn't streak. I pretty much use Idrosave as a quick detailer and probably wouldn't buy another rinseless with protection.
I hear a lot about Armour. The Gloss Shop Sublime is my GO TO... Crazy slick when used with a Low knap microfiber mitt. Honestly so many good ones out there, just pick one!
Great video Mike! My initial impressions were on par with yours. I love having options to wash outside in the summer without having to worry about rushing. Hero checks all of the boxes (minus foaming) that you could want in a rinseless wash.
Thanks JB. Appreciate you watching and commenting. The benefit is it works outside without any issues and no spotting. Foaming is not a necessity but sometimes fun.
Thank you. The competition is getting intense. It is getting to the point where it is really hard to choose one. Similar to a car shampoo where in the end it will all be personal preference.
You scared me a bit when you mentioned sio2 backbone because I don't enjoy what Idrosave had been doing to my wash media and the surface if I miss a spot while having to dry immediately. But then you showed wiping off a dried area just fine and was relieved.
I've just literally bought a gallon of Hero after watching this video a month ago and Eddie's videos too. In2detailing have only just put it up on their website at about 5pm this evening, they told me it'll be for sale today and I've been refreshing their page every hour or so as it could sell out. I'm going to buy some Idrosave too to compare with. My bottle of Absolute is nearly finished and I hopefully will be able to see and feel the difference. TRC don't have the Ultra safe sponge over here and no sign of anyone stocking it either- Come on TRC! Have you tried Autofiber Double flip rinseless towel? ADS supply the same it looks like, Neither of which I can get here in the UK, I would really love one of those to try.
Great video Mike, i appreciate your input. One thing you have to think about (Mike/Bradley) the boating community in my area is getting into rinsless also, cleaning ability is king... Idro would be goat if you could spray one side of a 27ft boat under a covered slip @ 95deg and it not leave more work (Reggie)........ Hero?
HERO will be a good option for this! Fresh water or Salt water boat? When Labo comes out with the 3PH rinseless that would be amazing if it’s a saltwater boat
@@armourdetailsupply we have a boat @ Dale Hollow lake (fresh water) with 350 others @ the marina and a boat in the canal in south Florida, but I still wanna nock the scum line off every week, and impart as much gloss as I can.
Why is everyone reviewing this new Rinseless conveniently and coincidentally saying “use Amplify.” Is someone asking you or expecting you to mention “Amplify?” Does it have to *be* Amplify? Could you use something else? Thanks
Two reasons. Number 1 synergistic compatibility and number 2 it is a fantastic product that delivers on gloss, slickness and protection. If you have not tried it, then I would definitely add it to your list to try. To answer your question you can use your favorite drying aid. That is not an issue.
Nice review. I when using Amplify, I noticed you dried off the rinseless, then sprayed and wiped the Amplify. Can remove that extra dry step and use Amplify as a drying aid? That is, spray it in the wet panel after the contact wash is comp, eye, then dry. Thanks!
@@MikeGDetailingoh I see. You dried off the panel you washed. Then you went into the drying aid application, and I didn’t notice that you moved to a neighboring panel you hadn’t dried yet! 😅
Mike, thanks for your testing. I like using products made in the US. Then I look at the cost, my limit is about $20 US for a quart (32 oz) mixed at 256:1. Does this product, Hero, meet those requirements? What rinseless washes meet those requirements that you could recommend? I believe EC likes Feynlab & Absolute? Which rinseless do you like that meets the requirments?
Hero is made in the us and it will come in 16 oz and gallons. a 16 oz will be around $18 with a 256:1 dilution. You can always buy 2 bottles and use my 10% promo code from ADS. I am not a big fan of Absolute but it does come in at 32 oz for under $20. try it and see if you like it. I have not tested the new Feynlab V3. You also have McKee's N914 V2 at 32 oz for about $25 but they always have sales or you can use my promo code MIKEG for 10% off any time.
@@MikeGDetailing McKees is getting like Chemical Guys, millions of different products. I recently bought P & S Pearl, which I try it as a rinseless. Thanks for your reply, keep up the good reporting...
@@MikeGDetailingyeah I was surprised by how stout Idrosave is. Have never seen anything clean that well and leave that much protection at the same time. Would be a good quick wash, clay, seal upsell option for customers that come in for an interior detail (I get a lot of these when I detail part time).
If you are looking for a disaster detail then I don't do those. I keep my cars clean. Makes my life easier to keep it clean rather than letting it get super dirty and clean it up.
Hey Mike, what are your thoughts on the ultra safe sponge after a few uses? I’m looking to get a new sponge for rinseless washing and I’m debating over the UBS, USS, and legacy sponge.
It works well. I like the size of it compared to the legacy sponge. You would be good with any one of those sponges. If you deal with soft paint the USS is the one I would choose.
Thank you for continued support, Mike! Appreciate you.
Great initial impressions. Can’t wait for the side by side comparison
I’m just glad we are getting more options that perform well. Today alone I used ech2o, idrosave and Feynlab v3.
There is a lot of options these days.
