I think the most impressive thing is, you really can’t hear the crash. Showing his roll cage, suspenison and seat belts were all kick ass. Ontop of the fact that he landed upright which means that vehicles equilibrium is on point.
And that gentlemen is why we wear full harness seatbelts and helmets with restraints ... It's so we come out alive ...
He has a thick wall 4in chassis with a full cage around him. He didn't move at all and only got a sore ankle.
Great dude. I hung out with him the day before the junp for a few hours. Glad he's ok with only a sore ankle.

Happened to me once, trying to get to my job at Kodak, in Rochester, ny. Racing down 104, approaching Ridge Rd in my ‘80 chevette, trying to get to bldg 53 by 2:30pm for B shift.. I was hell bent on passing nearly anything in my way when I hit a pothole the size of a Cadillac! Holy crap, I flipped end-over-end just like that! I thought I was dead 💀. Luckily I settled on four wheels,. When I was conscious again I discovered it was 3pm. Miraculously the car started right up with a twist of the key and I made it to work… nobody asked or even noticed I was late, if not a little shaken-up. I finished my shift, walked out to my car at 11:30pm, drove home, walked the dog, and went to bed. I also thanked God I was alive and well!

Kudos to that chassis builder. That held up really well
The fault was in the ramp construction 🤔 having that helicopter landing pad at the top instead of a long slope angle. The jump entry ramp was perfect and should have been replicated for the landing ramp.
He flipped because his rear wheels clipped or as those in bmx or motocross worlds say cased the top of the landing. Would have clipped even harder if higher landing. He came up short.

@@comegetsum187 Tell me you never jumped a dirt bike without telling me you've never jumped a dirt bike. The same concept goes for all motor vehicles. That's why Travis Pastrana is so good at jumping anything.
Yea he came up a few feet short and clipping the landing top with the rearwheels sure didn't helpt him but he probably thought he would come up even more short and pinned it, therefore. I'm not sure if like braketapping, like you adjust a dirtbike in the air would work here.
No he should have braked. He hit rear tires first anyway, more backwards rotation would have only made his flips more violent.
The guy that was halfway there before it stopped is a real one. 😢

At high revs, takes foot off the pedal, and pumps it, transferring weight forward, acting like a front brake, high compression engine, front dis in, back end can only maintain trajectory. speed was definitely a factor
