    I’m glad Eddie was able to get this worked out for you! It s concerning it took a personal connection to the company to get that handled. That stuff happens no fault to the company or u, but they should have responded. Great review as always! Ty!

      Thanks. Eddie thought I was pulling his leg but he took care of it and Feynlab made it right and apparently it was an issue with their system on requesting a refund and email system. They addressed the issue with it.

    Feynlab need to recognise Mike G! Glad it was all sorted out in the end. Im really getting into rinseless washing system. Its far more enjoyable and a lot easier to do especially with drying.
    I'm going to work on hybrid washing, I'm going to try Bilt Hamber touch-less in a pump spray bottle for the heavy soiled washes and use a garden hose to rinse off (touch-less rinses away very well) and then use Absolute in the bucket 🪣.
    Apparently ADS Hero is hitting our shores here in the UK around the beginning of June 🙌 so I probably going to buy a gallon of that and also Idrosave has landed this week here too. So I'm planning on getting a bottle of that and why not get a bottle of DIY too? I just beed to wait for pay day....
    Rinseless washing seems to be taking off a little bit. It won't be long before the established brands start to make dedicated rinseless wash systems. I personally know Gtechiq are developing one, Eddie needs to show them the way 🙌

    Great video! I typically do Rinseless in the way they suggest to (two bucket) because it's by far and a way the safest approach - we rarely just get dusty dirt in the UK. Although I can absolutely see the single bucket/multi cloth if you're washing weekly etc.
    I was amazed that V2 actually went to market, it was so bad.

    With so many new/updated rinseless washes coming out at once, I think I've finally reached my saturation point with it. I'll pick this up at some point, but I'm still trying to figure out where the rest are all stacking up for me.
    My current top 3 (in no particular order) are Hero, Rrw and Absolute. DIY is slightly behind them based on slickness (hopefully v2 fixes this) and scent (reminds me of doing dishes for my parents), but it is a great interior cleaner and awesome in the pad washer.
    Maybe its the fact that I've always identified as Gen X (I was born in March of 1981), but ONR still rounds out my top 5. Sure it doesn't do some things as well (like clean a microfiber) but it still provides great lubrication and cleaning for well maintained paint.
    You will definitely notice a consistency difference with a fresh bottle of Absolute, but it can still clump up a bit when poured into a bucket of cold water. It disperses with a quick swirl, but I usually just dump it in before I even put water in the bucket. The flow from the hose mixes it up fully and it is a non-issue.
    With the early production run bottle of Absolute that I had, I never saw a huge differentiation between gently rocking the bottle and shaking it vigorously. I will say though that I do notice a big difference now. If you shake it, I think it is causing some shear thickening (fluid mechanics) due to the high velocity of a vigorous shake. It is also mixing in air and which creates some cavitation-like effects. A gentle rock is all you need, so I would stick to that with Absolute.

      @jeffc6832 Před 2 měsíci +2

      @@CarltonMarshall I've never been a fan of McKee's, but I did try V2. It left a weird film behind the two times I tried it. Had to rewash with a better product both times, so it went in the trash.

      Great insight into p and a s Absolute,I was amazed with this product from day one ,I think the gloopyness of Absolute must be a major benefit in its performance,I think it mixes perfectly with warm water ,just needs a couple of extra sites if the water is cold.I have tried a good few rinseless.wash products,ONR,Mckees,DIY.detail.and labocosmetica.idrosave,all perform on except for idrosave which stained anything it touched,I will try gyeon. ecowash.when available but it will have to be very special to beat Absolutes quality.

    Mike love your face the v2 version, and I agree I dont follow there directions for rinseless wash, I just use a bucket and sponge, 1oz to 3 gallons they suggest will remove some of the "soapiness"

  • @JeepJL
    @JeepJL Před 2 měsíci +2

    Another great video Mike. Think Feynlab may have made a bit of a "swing-and-a-miss" here with a different dilution ratio. People are used to the standard 256:1 so it would seem the most efficient for their customers to adjust their formulations to go with that ratio. Otherwise people WILL be using it wrong. Sure some people will say that 250:1 and 256:1 are close, but close doesn't really cut it with chemicals. The 2 bucket wash method for rinseless is a definite non-starter for me. The second time you dunk your towel, you're dunking it in dirty water that has barely any product in it, so you eventually will just come out with a dirty towel, then add that back to your rinseless bucket. Seems like a lot of wasted effort.

    • @BXGreen
      @BXGreen Před 2 měsíci

      Yea no one does Rinseless with 2 buckets no way

    • @jeffc6832
      @jeffc6832 Před 2 měsíci +2

      256:1 (1/2 oz to 1 gallon) is always modified to 4mL to 1L (which is 250:1) for the metric folks...so this is a non-issue IMO. That is only a 2% difference.
      The bigger issue to me is when people use a capful of something like DIY Rinseless or Absolute, as their "half an ounce" per gallon of water. With the exception of ONR or gallon sizes of some products, the "capfuls" only measure 1/3 of an ounce. That equates to a dilution ratio of 388:1 which is a full 1/3 less concentration.

    • @MikeGDetailing
      @MikeGDetailing  Před 2 měsíci

      Thanks. You make some valid points. The dilution should be 256:1 to make it easier rather than 250:1. The two bucket set up is just too much for a rinseless wash. It should not be that complex. It is a good product and it cleans very well.

    • @goddyb7601
      @goddyb7601 Před 2 měsíci

      I actually use a 2 bucket method but add a little ONR to the rinse water to aid in settlement, regardless of what I use in the wash bucket (currently Absolute). What are your thoughts on this method? Consequently, the wash solution always remains clean

      I'm using Absolute, by all accounts Hero cleans better. Hero doesn't smear, it can be used in direct sunlight, it's cleans clear of dirt from your wash media (unlike Absolute). The lubricity is slightly better, more gloss and slickness too, generally it's a better rinseless apparently, I'm currently using Absolute, I've noticed some of its flaws already and I am waiting (along with the rest of the world) for Hero to land as its totally sold out everywhere the next batch is about to hit. Not only that Eddie from ECdetails had a major input with its development helping out the two owners of ADS
