The ranch was beautiful! How can it be that was our first time there! Aunt Patty’s was delicious too! Such a long day! But great memories 😍

This was a really long day, but an awesome day. The UTV Ride at Kualoa Ranch was so much fun. It was a lot more adventurous than sitting on one of the other tours. Really enjoyed our time at the ranch. Definitely recommend doing something at the ranch. The scenic views alone are so breathtaking. Next time we will probably try something else like horseback riding. Always enjoy stopping by the Macadamia Nut Farm to pick up a variety of macadamia nuts. We did enjoy our time at the Polynesian Cultural Center as well. The kids had lots of fun doing the various games and watching a couple shows. The buffet was surprisingly pretty good as well. Enjoyed the variety. The show - HA: Breath of Life was really good. Had lots of fun. Great day.

That was a long day BUT what a great day it was! Giovanni’s never disappoints and neither does Matsumoto. Locals might not agree, but it’s what we like. 😉

Great First Day on the Island. Lots of fun on the North Shore. Dole Plantation is always a fun stop, especially competing against the younger generation, though it's definitely very touristy. Of course, we love the Dole Whips. The Green World Coffee Farm was a pleasant first time experience. Really enjoyed the coffee. Hale'iwa is also a great place to visit as there are plenty of food options, including our favorite Giovanni's Shrimp and Matsumoto Shave Ice. The rest of the day was spent in Waimea Valley. The Botanical Garden, Waterfalls, and adjacent Beach are all beautiful and lots of fun. We finished the night with some very delicious Beef Udon Soup at Marugame Udon. This was a fantastic day,

That walk to the HA terminal was crazy!

One of most favorite places to visit - Hawaii. This year we are heading to Oahu for some family fun and to celebrate a bunch of High School graduations including Caleb's. The flight to Honolulu was actually really nice and it seems to be a new plane. So excited to stay at the Hyatt Regency Hotel on Waikiki. Had a great lunch at the Maui Brewing Co and a wonderful first sunset on the Waikiki Beach. The Stix Asia Udon restaurant was satisfactory but not great, but the Ice Monster Shave Ice place was awesome. Really enjoyed! This was a great first day and start of this awesome Oahu Hawaii Trip.

Fun Easter Holiday in Seattle. Great Breakfast at Toulouse Petit. Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The International District is always fun. Chinatown had a festival going on, and the Japanese market, bookstore, and food hall is a great place to visit. Also couldn't leave without stopping at Seattle's Best Tea Co for some Boba Drinks, and some Rice Dogs at Chung Chun's. Our decision to eat our dogs at the Gas Works Park was great. Such great views of the Seattle Skyline. Had to also make a quick trip to visit the Fremont Troll, which has been beautified with a garden trail set up beside it.

We love our days at Pike Place. So much food, but so little time. Love finding new places to visit at the Pike. This time around it was Michou, which has a large assortment of delicious sandwiches. We of course enjoy all the regular food eateries as well. Got to spend some time in the waterfront enjoying some shopping and coffee. The dinner at Fern Thai was an unexpected delicious surprise. Really enjoyed the food and the company. We also found a wonderful new dessert spot at Coche Valley Dessert Cafe. The dessert was great.

The Best Western Premier Hotel was a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed the grounds. The Japanese Gardens and the Koi Pond were awesome. Had some fun at the Capitols of Salem and Olympia. The Cherry Blossom type trees in Salem were beautiful. The tour of the Olympia Capitol was pretty cool. Loved catching up with the Haskill Boys in Seattle and having a delicious dim sum dinner at the Dough Zone in Renton. Also found a Snowy Village Dessert Cafe in The Landing in Renton. The dessert was awesome. We enjoyed our first evening in Seattle. Can't wait to spend more time with the Boys.

This was a fun day. We love the Northern California and Oregon scenery along the 5 Freeway. It's nice just to drive through it, and even better when it snows. Found some new and unique things to see along the way. The giant Orange and the World's Largest Grindstone were actually hysterical to find as they weren't what we expected, but fun all the same. The Headwaters was a nice scenic. The city of Weed was a cute shopping stop for us. Loved seeing the different covered bridges in Cottage Grove Oregon. Learned a lot of fun stuff. Also, the BBQ House in Medford was a fairly good BBQ spot and in a very unexpected residential location. The hotel we stayed in Lebanon Oregon was a great place to stay as well.

First day on a road trip and especially on the 5 Freeway through central California not always the most exciting, but we definitely find things to do and see. We always tend to stop in the Wheeler Ridge/Tejon Ranch area for some snacks or meals. Bravo Farms in Kettleman City tends to be a place we frequent a lot as well, whether it be for a tex mex meal at their restaurant, ice cream at their lab, or as we did on this stop, shop for items or snacks in their market. It's a fun western themed stop along the way. I guess we kept with the western theme when we visited Old Town Sacramento. We enjoyed our time there, though it was rather drizzly and we couldn't do too much. I think we settled for lunch. Wish we had more time there to enjoy the Old Town and find a really nice place to eat. One of the fun stops we found on this trip was the Alien invaded Power Market and Gas Station in Lathrop. That was an unexpected but entertaining stop, and we got some snacks & lottery out of it. It was a great day, but a long drive. Next Up we head into Oregon and find some more unique stops along the way.

Final Days of Family Weekend with Jacob. Carmelo's Tacos is a great place for some quick service tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. The food is really good. We checked out the REI Co-Op Store for the first time. Pretty big store with a huge woodsy outdoor area in the front where you can test bikes and other fun activities before purchasing. Kind of neat to have a store like this in the middle of downtown. Of course, what is a trip to Seattle without a stop at the Pike Place Market. Had to make the normal stops with all the favorite foods like Pike Place Chowder, Beecher's Mac n Cheese, Piroshky Piroshky pastries, etc. It was a fun family weekend. Sad that Jen, Caleb, and Josh were not available to attend, but glad that Grandma and Grandpa had some time. Love spending time with the boys.

It is 3rd time out to Seattle in 3 months, and this time it is Jacob's first Family Weekend. Mom and Caleb can't attend this event, so Grandma Patty and Grandpa Mark join the festivities. Travel Day is always entertaining, but at least we got to see Jacob at the end of the day. We enjoyed our morning trip to the Ballard Locks. Got to see a bunch of boats come through the locks. The Fish Ladder was a bust though because there was only one fish. Early summer may be a better time for it. Enjoyed the changing Fall colors of the trees. Also enjoyed some comfort food at Kiss Me Cafe in Ballard. Family Weekend began with a tour of the Seattle U campus and we found a not-so-secret Labyrinth in the back of the school, which was a nice find. Had to finish off the night with a stop in the International District at the Uwajiyama Food Court. It was a good first day in Seattle.

Always love our trips to Pike Place. Of course, we tend to hit all the regular spots, such as Piroshky Piroshky, Beecher's, Pike Place Chowder, and Mee Sum Pastry. We always find something good at those places. We did find a couple new places for breakfast and dinner. Really enjoyed our breakfast at Toulouse Petit. I don't think their sign outside is very easy to read, but other than that, the dining experience was really good. The food was definitely a winner. We also tried dinner at Cielo in Bellevue. It was average, nothing spectacular, but filling. Of course we had to say goodbye to Jacob, so although the trip was good, we were very sad to send yet another one of our boys away to college. Very happy for him and wish all the best for his year to come. Also, not sure that we really like getting up and leaving that early in the morning, but I guess it leaves the rest of the day open.

Sending our #2 off to College for his Freshman year was definitely tough, especially since he is so far away from us. Truly glad and blessed his big brother lives in Seattle. Travel Day is what it is, though we attempt to make it entertaining for us. Move In Day is always tough. It was with our first child and it is no different with our second. We did have a good day moving him into his new dorm, touring the Campion Hall, and taking part in the Seattle U Orientation process. Also, enjoyed some new food places, like Panwa Thai just across the street from the University, Pagliacci Pizza for some good pizza and salad, and some great dessert at Hello Robin. They use Molly Moon ice cream in their ice cream cookies and they bake their cookies in house. They are delicious, and you can mix and match. It was a sad, but a good and exciting day.

The drive from Seattle to Los Angeles or vice versa is not always exciting, so we attempt to find things to do along the way. If we can find waterfalls, bridges, or just things to do and new places to eat, we will do it. We found some pretty cool stops along our trip from Bend Oregon to Sacramento California. The Rouge Gorge was pretty cool. Definitely did not expect the raging river chasm and the amount of water running through it along with some lava tubes. Really Enjoyed it. The other was the Hedge Creek Falls, which was one of those waterfalls where you can walk behind it, and there is enough water coming down to get you wet on a hot day. Butte Creek Mill was a cute but quick stop and as Caleb said, he got him some pancake mix from the working mill. Found a covered bridge just down the street as well. All together, it was a good trip back. Lots of different landscapes. Loved our trip to Seattle. We will do it again.

It is always fun finding new adventures that we haven't done or seen in the past, so traveling down the Columbia River Gorge and visiting all the scenic sights along the highway was awesome. Multnomah Falls is a pretty spectacular waterfall. Very dramatic landscape. Stopped at a couple other spots along the way including a couple great viewpoints of the Columbia River as well as another waterfall and a smaller gorge. The Bridge of the Gods was another cool spot as well as the drive along the Washington side with epic views and tunnels. The other reason for this drive was to visit Bend Oregon, the Last BlockBuster on Earth, and to have some very much anticipated Thai food for dinner at the Wild Rose. Great Food. Highly Recommend. Another fun and adventurous day.

Pike Place Market in Seattle is one of our favorite places to go. So much great food from which to choose. Our favorites include Piroshky Piroshky, Le Panier, Pike Place Chowder, Beecher's Handmade Cheese, and Mee Sum Pastry. We continue to try new things and are loving those just as much. We also continue to challenge ourselves every time we go by eating at new places we haven't yet tried. This time we ate at the Market Grill, Michou Deli, and had some fresh apple cider, which were all delicious. Love going to Pike Place. Also found some delicious Hawaiian Korean Food at Marination around the Amazon Center area. Always love our food tour days, though we are so very full by the time the day ends. Will definitely continue going to the Pike Place Market. We highly recommend a stop if you're in the Seattle area.

Spending a birthday in Seattle is lots of fun. Birthday dinner at Spinasse was great. Food was delicious, ambiance was great, and the company was the best ever. Enjoyed our Korean shave ice. It was definitely something new. We also had a good relaxing slow day in the International District and Pioneer Square. Found a waterfall in the middle of town that we didn't know existed. Also, loved moving to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown. Such a great beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown with easy access to everything. A little walking needed, but still close to things, and was a nice area.

Lots going on Today...Couldn't do the trip to Leavenworth, so decided to improvise and start with a late start at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery. Lots of specialty coffees, and not many every day coffee options, but the food was actually pretty good. Spent some time at the Ballard Locks for the first time. That was interesting and fun. Definitely recommend visiting the place at least once. The time we spent at the International District was great as well. Found a Japanese/International village with a food court, a pretty cool bookstore, and a Japanese Market; toured Chinatown for a bit; and finished the night with a wonderful dim sum dinner at Dough Zone. So Good! Topped the night with a stop at Hot Cakes with some great molten chocolate lava cakes with ice cream. Also, so very good. This was a truly fun day.

Such a great day. Lots of great food today. Bok a Bok has some good chicken options, specifically their spicy chicken sandwich and the Kimchi Mac n Cheese. We also tried something different for Dinner, Kedai Makan, which is the first time we have had Malaysian Food. Had some pretty good dishes, especially the Curry with the net bread and the fried chicken. All the dishes were good, some better than others. Molly Moons is a good stop for ice cream with their many creative flavors, and Kakigori was a welcome dessert surprise. Loved the Japanese Shave Ice. Highly Recommend! Really enjoyed this dessert. Finally, had a great first look at Seattle University, which will be Jacob's future home for the next 4 years. Loved everything about Seattle U, though wish we could have seen the dorms while on this tour of the campus. Great Day!

Debarkation is always the saddest of the days. If you didn't know, you can go to Cabanas buffet the morning of debarkation instead of heading directly to your designated table service restaurant. We tend to prefer the buffet as we can get up a bit later, eat at the buffet, and head off the ship by 9 - 9:30AM. Although leaving is always a sad moment, we do know that we will be back. Can't wait for the next one, possibly the upcoming Brand New Treasure. As for the rooms, most of the rooms are the same in the particular category that you choose on each of the ships with subtle differences in each class. We do love our Disney Cruise rooms, though you can see that the Magic Ship is starting to fall apart a bit in certain areas of the room, but they do a fairly good job of keeping it the best they can. I'm sure we will return to the Disney Magic in the future as we have fallen in love with Rapanzel's Royal Table Restaurant.

Rapunzel is by far one of my favorite dining rooms and we lucked out with a great table this time. Also, never knew how delicious those Mikey churro waffles.

Love spending days at sea when we can really just relax and spend time venturing around the ship. Love the lazy days. One downside is you're also spending it with everyone else on the ship, so things can get fairly crowded. Other than that, it's a great day of trivia's, bingo (didn't win either of these things), and theatrical movies. Dinner at Rapunzels Royal Table was so good. The food did not disappoint, and the last night of entertainment is so much fun. Rapunzel, Flynn, and the Ruffians make their appearance and visit briefly with everyone. They sing a number of songs, there is dancing, and some great music. It's just a really fun night. Also, really enjoyed the last evening touring the ship, seeing all the Christmas decorations, and having fun with the family. All together, this day ranked fairly high on the scale of great days, probably an 8.5 day.

Pirate Night on a Disney Cruise is always fun. The Disney Magic definitely puts on a great party on the top deck. Always good to see Mickey flying across the ship. The fireworks are a great topping to the fun-filled day. Not use to having the pirate party and fireworks before dinner, so that was a little strange, but still had a good day. Pirate dinner at Animator's Palate was fun and fairly good. Always love the seafood options. It's all pirate themed as well, so helped get you in the pirate mood. Just really enjoy the pirate theming throughout the night.

First Time actually walking out past the port of Ensenada. Had a short visit at the Port and Marina and surrounding area. Had a good time, but didn't really spend too much time there. Found some souvenirs. Jacob did get to have his first legal alcoholic drink, which he enjoyed with his brother Josh. Really enjoyed our breakfast at Lumiere's and our Lunch at Rapunzels Royal Table. Table Service breakfast and lunch is sometimes a great change from the buffet, and the food seems much more fresh. Had another good morning aboard the Disney Magic. Great start to the day.

Our day on Catalina Island was so much fun and we were able to end it with such fun night. Really love the new Soul Cat Lounge. So much better than the bland promenade that use to be there. Also love the new options for drink and snacks. The pistachio latte was so good, and the Zepole's were a good change from the beignets. Enjoyed our experience and loved having the trivia in this area. Had a surprise Christmas show on the top deck that we weren't expecting because we didn't check the navigator. Always a great stop is Cove Cafe for specialty coffee and snacks. Had a great dinner at Animator's Palate with our special guest. Food was good. Really enjoyed our night time festivities with our PJ party in the Lobby. Lots of great pictures with the family.
