This scene remarkably shows how different and yet similar both Holmes brothers are They are both great at deductions. But Sherlock is great at identifying the physical aspects while Mycroft picks on the more emotional clues about one's personality Sherlock is great at reading people while Mycroft is great at manipulating them Thats y he is a detective and he is a dipomat.

I think my favorite part is that, playing it back, the show is deceptively implying that he is Moriarty only to surprise us later with the reveal that he is just Mycroft.

I'm crying!!!! I need the 5th season. I don't know English at all, but I try to learn it to watch Sherlock in original voiceover. It doesn't matter to me that nobody would read my comment and even if someone reads he couldn't understand it. But Sherlock is my favorite serial, film, book and music (background music). You are burning the hart out of me when you don't make the 5 season 😢😢😢

yeah really? .. man has very dangerous genius opponent so he dismisses firstly his numerical advantage because his opponent says `there is too much stupid in the room` THEN he takes away about the only advantage he has left `range` to step close` .. its not so much Sherlock is super smart as his opponent is a MORON.

Irene Adler's behavior is just fantastically right. At the start of the scene, she's arrogant, on top of the world. By the end, she's lost everything, all in the space of about two minutes. When Sherlock shows her the screen, she takes a second to look at it, because she refuses to see her worst nightmares on that screen: her defeat, her ruin, the loss of her power and the end of her little game. Just brilliant.

Theory sherlock maybe wasn't or was afraid. But remember he was exposed to a hallucinatin drug that makes the nervous system skyrocket with fear. So whether or not he was legitimately afraid it's the effect of the drugs. He didn't know yet at this scene it was drugs so he pretty much collapsed on himself thinking of his emotionless walls crumbling.
