Well judging by the Miss Me on the Note that Euros gave Sherlock we can assume that he will have to do something in this episode even if he doesn't directly do it. My idea would be that Euros works for Moriartys group and she is going to attempt to kill Sherlock and Jhon and maybe even Rosie to become head of Moriartys gang. But I think Andrew Scott will come back to be in the Mind Palace. But I am most likely over thinking this.

Lyra Melpomene You know when E was texting John and she claims to be a "vampire"? In Doyle's story The adventure of the Sussex Vampire the eldest sibling tries to kill his baby half-brother, and practises on the family dog beforehand. I think either this is exactly what happened to Readbeard ( killed by Euros reharsing her plan before turning on Sherlock) or that Readbeard saved Sherlock from his sister's assassination attempt and got accidentally killed. Also I don't think they thought she was dead, otherwise they ( and Mycroft in particular) wouldn't reference at her ( well, at the "east wind" and "the other one") so often. But certainly Mycroft thought he had the situation under control, and that she was no longer a threat. That she'd been "dealt with"

During the lying detective on the DVD thing Mary says 'the man we both love.' You can't make it much more obvious than that in that Sherlock loves john

This is at least the second time that Sherlock and Mary's feelings for John are equated. There's also the wedding when he's talking to Sholto and she says, "Oh Sherlock, neither of us were the first." Kind of a weird thing to say if you're only referring to friendship. And in the video, she could have easily said "your best friend" or something similar. I mean, if I was talking to my husband's best friend (who is practically a brother to him) I would still never in a million years reference, "the man we both love."
And yet it still just sails past John's head as he later tells Sherlock to text Irene /facepalm.

Taylan Ertan I assume that Eurus may be the abnormal one - originally, anyway. I mean, maybe if she was sociopathic and cruel, it would lead Mycroft to be wary of her (and other people in general) and become overprotective of Sherlock. So, if Mycroft developed this need for detachment as a way of defence as to not get affected by his sister, he would take it into his hands to ensure his younger brother, Sherlock, would have this detachment too - as a kind of precaution so Sherlock wouldn't get hurt. Then you end up with one crazy genius sister, one overprotective genius elder brother and one... Sherlock. Haha, I dunno really.

What an episode.!!! So many feels. I honestly cannot stop talking about it. Absolutely amazing. From the cinematography to the character developments. I cried, laughed and gasped for air. It was just THAT good.
the execution in this season is absolutely phenomenal!
Here are my theories:
-Eurus killed red beard when they were kids and became a psychopath.
-Sherrinford is some sort of facility or asylum that she was held in, which is why mycroft kept calling sherrinford to check in on her.
-mycroft is the oldest, eurus is the middle child, and Sherlock was definitely the youngest. It's never twins.
-mycroft used to tell stories about the east wind (eurus) coming and sweeping up everything in its path. Foreshadowing?
-moriarty and euros were working together. To get Sherlock/Mycrofts attention, she created the ''miss me'' thing herself, symbolizing the fact that she must've left the family at some point.
-Sherinnford being a mental asylum would explain the padded cell in Sherlocks mind palace.
-I really don't think there's a fourth Holmes, it would be too obvious. I think it mean that there had been three terrible villains in the past and now with addition of euros that makes four.
Anyway, they're just theories. But its what I think

Anis Etikasari Ashamed. Because it all paid off and was beautiful and brilliant and heartbreaking, oh my god. Ep. 1 is still abysmal, but it was so worth it.
I feel good that these episodes are better than episode 1. Just because episode 2 was good doesn't mean I need to retract a negative opinion. I love Sherlock, but that doesn't mean I go in blindly.

Is nobody going to mention the fact that Mycroft and Lady Smallwood were together? Like together together. Mycroft is turning into...possibly a human. I would never expect Mycroft to have an emotional relationship with a woman. It's just so weird.
I read a theory today that suggested Lady Smallwood isn't really interested in Mycroft at all, but is trying to hook up with him as part of a revenge scheme.

Na Sorn True, Mycroft should be able to see right through her. However, you have to admit that it's a bit suspicious that not long after he accused her of some serious crimes, she wants to get cozy with him.
I know right; something is totally going on. I guess we'll just have to wait and see in next week's last episode.

this was such a strange season to watch.
I did loved sherlock from the first second, because it was such a diffrent treasure, but this was so difficult.
While allways a unique series, it was allways a cozy and fun thing to watch.
But this was almost painfull. After such a long time it was painfull and not really a thing to enjoy or to look twice.
If there is someday a season 5 ( what I did not really expect) please please please make it a little bit more cozy again . . .

I have a pretty dark theory myself. It could be that Eurus actually killed John at the end of the episode and he will consequentially be present exclusively as Sherlock's phantom or hallucination, the same way Mary was John's in the last episode. He does seem to act somewhat unusually in the trailer ... I really hope I am mistaken, but it would sadly make sense.

I can't help but feel, after a grueling three-year wait, extremely disappointed in the way the last episode was handled. And the most excruciating thing about this flop is that it had SO much potential (e.g., Moriarty playing a potential role in all of this, the mysterious word "Redbeard" that Eurus whispered to Moriarty that could've meant something so much deeper than a mere substitute for a repressed memory of a friend Sherlock used to play with, the Final Problem which could have been SO much more creative with its challenges, Moriarty who was supposed to have set off that "series of events" by killing himself but which was never addressed and could have been tied back to Eurus, the supposed imminent terrorist attack on London, not to mention the whole airplane fiasco which could've had such a more compelling finish). Doesn't the fact that John is alive and well kind of negate the ending of "The Lying Detective" with him getting shot and all?
