I love how initially we think Angie is the one telling us how "she'd be a better daughter than rose" but only after we learn that Donna's parents both killed themselves when she was just a child, and that she speaks through Angie we see how, honestly in a way quite simular to Eveline, she just wants a family... which she created using Mother Miranda and her dolls.

The game shows dolls hanging from the trees in the forest and a pregnant (soon to be) mother painting with her head down held up by two ropes, only for one of them to snap and leave her hanging there is GREAT symbolism for the fact that Donna parents both died in a double suicide when she was just a child. The house does a great job of telling the story about parenthood, birth, pregnancy and death.

I played through this entire game in VR on PC recently and honestly... I didn't think the game was very scary, nor did I think this part was very scary. I got jump-scared a few times here & there but that's it. This section in particular was just pretty awful because I could see it coming from a mile away. You come there and there's no items to find and there's seemingly random locations that lead to nowhere. There's also nothing interesting to do. It's very easy to see that you'll end up in a scripted sequence where you have to escape. And there's no pressure since the game already makes it very clear that you can't miss anything important. Emily Wants to Play on the Gear VR years ago was way scarier than this.

Epic Mickey, Dreamlight Valley, Disneyland Adventures, Disney Infinity, and Kingdom Hearts are my top 5 Disney games of all time.
