From NAS: Other than the Japanese occupation, it seems all was peaceful at Mount Pleasant. An Englishman Brown bought the place including Bukit Brown after he arrived in Singapore in the 1840s. He tried planting and on his death in the 1880s, there were 3 large houses, a carriage factory, a tapioca processing plant, tapioca plantation and fruit trees. The colonial government bought over part of the land for Brown Cemetery. The rest of the estate was owned by the Alsagoff family who let out houses to various tenants and had two plantations producing coffee, pepper, tapioca and sugar cane. In 1920, the colonial government bought the estate to build living quarters for officers, hence the black and whites. The police training school was built in 1929 named as Police Depot and remained as such till it closed in 2005. During the war, the grounds housed the Kempetai. The site IS next to Mount Pleasant Cemetery which was formed after Bukit Brown Cemetery was split to build the PIE. Perhaps that explains it.

My experience in BMT at Nee Soon Camp. My first week in my buck,my bed was shaken violently. I thought it was a prank by the Corporal or Sergeant. I was holding my boot,ready to hit. But when my bed was shaken again,I immediately prepared to swing my boot,but to my horror,there was nobody. Upon realising the bed was shaken by itself,I lay back and cover with my blanket. I stay still and fell to sleep. Damm,I really panic that night

I was at 35SCE for almost one year. It's an old camp that is super creepy. Very depressing to be there one cos everything is old and alot of shouting cos most/ all are mono intake... Quite a culture shock for someone from Tekong BMT.

Reminds me, Sembawang park also had Pocong sighting. Had a colleague who shared that Chong Pang camp interior used to be rented out as manufacturing lots. Her dad had a place and had Thai workers on site. Very Keras, they couldn’t get rid of the spirit haunting the place and the workers were scared shitless. In the end her Dad gave the place up. Wonder if there’re stories from that camp.

Only three Ah Beng, Ah Seng and Ah Kow amongst the whole of platoon saw ghosts at the same time? I better go get myself a mini Buddha chanting box too and carry with me everywhere I go now. 😆

Wa shit I spent a year in 39SCE, one of the oldest part of Seletar camp. The 35SCE and armceg have already been renovated when I was serving. Some weekend duties in an empty, old and decaying camp with only a couple of other duty guys was definitely creepy as hell. Especially when night fell and I had to go to the bathroom alone...

I was from 39 SCE. We used to go to 35 there for this rare annual long run along the river. Swear to you that i don't like those trees there. That area is under-utilised.. low human traffic.. I don't know how to describe... It's definitely a place i dont wanna pass through at night. Thank god we ran past wearing our gas masks (i think) Haha. 😅. So maybe cannot totally see anything or feel the vibe there.

I did my NS at 36 SCE between 2000 - 2002. Saw and experienced some eerie stuff there during that time. Its a well known issue that the commander's mess is haunted by at least 2 spirits (standing order that nobody is to be in there alone after 11 pm) and there is an area where lights fail frequently, regardless if its installed or hand carried ones. I did my Reservist at 39 SCE. For the most part, I didn't see or experience anything but I had campmates that did.

Jinns are known to take interest in human and vice versa. There are plenty of stories of humans marrying jinns. However, under normal circumstances, when a jinn takes interest in a human they make an effort to keep competition away and that includes other humans and jinns. Other people will find it difficult to be attracted to the affected person and if they do then the jinn will bother them till they are no longer considered competition. If the person is married then the jinn will bother the spouse. There isn't really a proper solution to this as the only option for most people is to pray. The jinn will leave when they lose interest. Another way is to attempt to chase the jinn away by doing a ruqyah but the success rate is quite low as the jinn isn't exactly being evil or malicious but simply in love. Well the last option that I can think of is to resign yourself to your fate and either bear with or straight up marry the jinn though this is highly unrecommended. As for that jar of water and coins, the jinn is bounded to it. The most likely scenario is someone sent it aka black magic so the bottle is technically a hex. The jinn usually has a set task to do and it is probably just fulfilling the task by causing a ruckus. Also it is unable to do anything to its container cause that is just how it works. So cleansing the place and getting rid of the jar would usually work. Also this is why the older folks say not to touch or pick up random things at the beach cause most people get rid of these things by throwing them into the sea.

Was in 39 SCE from 1997 to 1998. We were doing guard duty in our own compound. Our guardhse is just opposite the 1st guard cookhse with the MPH and the second floor. I remember it was a Saturday evening around 5 to 6 pm. I heard a female calling for help from the 1st guard cookhse and MPH. I thought I was dreaming or make out sound in my mind. It went on for quite a while. I asked my on duty buddies if they heard the same female voice calling from help. They heard the same voice. It took us a while to gather our courage to go there to investigate. The shouting for help seems to get really desperate. We ended up outside the level 1 female toilet. The door is closed. We shouted into the toilet. Whose there!?? The female voice from inside shouted back, auntie from the officer mast. She got stuck inside for almost an hour. Somehow the main door (not the cubicle door) of the female toilet was locked and she is unable to open it from the inside. She told us she is inside there for really long and she need to get out immediately. We were thinking what if we open the door and there is no one inside? I thought fuck it. Rescue pple more important. The door was stuck shut and I kicked the door in. Lucky we see the white faced auntie from the office mast. She thanked us profusely and left. Till this day, I still cannot imagine how the main door to the female toilet manages to lock on its own. Lucky, I did not encounter miss P, as the road leading to the 39 and dog unit is the one and only road I can use to book in during Sunday nights. The only miss P encounter i had was in tekong camp 3, jaguar company toilet at level 4 or 5.

Tekong case the commanders sure kena charged gao gao, maybe even DB? Simple thing like headcount never do, how to fight real war? SAF is seriously a wayang organization which is only good for organizing NDP, Army Half Marathon, support commercial Air Shows, etc. Shiny, expensive, high tech weapons don't win wars. Just ask the Americans in Vietnam, Afghanistan, etc.

In my very own opinion, what I heard, as been told, many of Police, Army, Martial Artist, n somebody like them in this kind of macho professions were not afraid of this kind of paranormal stuffs....!!!! But opposite, those stuffs, fear them back, Right..???

97 - 99. 35SCE Driver. Stayed in MT Line, stayed in Boat Coy top floor middle room. Nothing. Never felt uncomfortable before. Have nv heard of anybody say anything.

My Taiwan ghost story. Ghost possession. I went to Taiwan for my brigade exercise during my two years National Service. It was during one exercise by brigade slept overnight at the cemetery on the slope of a mountain After midnight one of a soldier saw a white long hair girl walking up the slope and started going from one soldier to another and looking at each soldier. When come to his turn he got scared and started screaming waking some of us. After I wrote my story in the comment,a girl write to said her father got possessed after he came back from training in Taiwan and she was wandering if he was the one of the same batch as me. She said her father happened to sleep on a open grave and he might get possessed by the ghost. His father had high fever and sick for a long time he was cured by a temple medium.

This story is creepily similar to Thai movie The Medium 😮

35 SCE Boat Coy 1988-1990. Yah, the camp is dirty!! I was wondering when Supernatural Confessions going to do one video on it! The chain on the top floor of Boat Coy block?

Spoilers. The second the two FBI pulled into the neighborhood at the beginning I knew Agent Redshirt was a dead man. This movie was extremely predictable, and worse: it actively gave its "secrets" away at each and every earliest opportunity which removed all suspense, or interest for that matter. The psychic schtick lasted approximately as long as the scenes it was introduced in, and was then almost completely ignored. The characters all seemed to be on the same quirkily half-speed overdramatic wavelength which made all the performances blend together. The exceptions were Detective Supervisor Man who was completely boilerplate until the very end, and NicC who was as ridiculous as his costume. When they ultrasounded the doll brain Satan mcguffin was a real eye rolling moment too. I give it a 3.2/10 and a Hail Satan for the artsy cinematography and a couple of subtle, fleeting images. Save it for a cold and dreary night at home maybe? Or not.
