Our confessor, J, saw the previous Teban Gardens confessional videos and contacted us to tell us that she can validate the previous confessors' experience. She is living in Teban Gardens and her own house is haunted.
J also provided CCTV footages. This is part 1 of 2. Eugene went to their house to record this confession and he experienced first hand something that he cannot explain. Watch out of that in the second part of this confession.

I feel pity for the poor dog. All those times when it was left alone in the house while all the owners were out, it sure must have been disturbed aa well by the entities.

I agree with what this lady mentioned that teban this land is haunted as i remember myself as a kid go viewing the house with my parents as they decided to move house, i jus felt super uncomfortable , goosebump and dark feeling in this area and also for the house we went to view on, luckily my parents did not manage to purchase that particular house... i honestly find teban this area super haunted...and also this bell sound and compression on the bed all is true.... i experienced all that...
I believe her. One of the first stories I submitted to SC was also this Teban Executive HDB my family lived in facing Pandan Reservoir. Same happenings - things will fall from the wall or go missing. Also doppelganger issues among many other issues.
Years after, I related my story to a colleague who also had her own teban story to tell! Her aunt who lived in the condo facing Pandan Reservoir once saw a lady in red outside her bathroom window. Only problem is....she lived on the 8th floor.

Meaning the spirits impersonate humans ?
One of my friends used to work in Malaysia. She was staying at a Level 2 apartment. The next tenant was staying at Level 4. No one was staying at Level 3. But every night, loud sounds can be heard from Level 3. Furniture being dragged across the floor, loud hammering and loud knocking. She couldn't take it & moved out as soon as she found another apartment. When she questioned the landlord, he refused to acknowledge the sounds. Even the tenant at Level 4 eventually left.

This remind me of when i stayed in a hotel in one of the cities in Australia. At night or early morning, I would hear furniture being dragged which would go for hours and this was really annoying to fall asleep. I even talked to the reception and they told me that there wasn't any rooms or it was a different room that was above me. It was so weird.
@oliver6224 I am sure the hotel staff know what's happening. They are just not acknowledging the issue, unfortunately.
I was born in '76. My parents bought a JTC flat in Teban Gardens. I don't remember the entire house very well but i was 3 yrs old and slept by myself. Every night without fail, i used to be visited by a greyish/transparent figure of a man's body with a goat's head. It would stand at my door and poke his head around the door to look at me. Some nights it would be very tall reaching the top of the door, and on other nights it would be short. I would have to run past it to go to my parents room next door. I still remember looking back and seeing him watch me run and open their door in the middle of the night. Many years later, when i was 20+ i recounted what I'd experienced, and my mom was shocked! She saw the same entity in a half sleep, and in the kitchen something used to hiss in her ear and follow her around. I can still picture it till today 🫣 i have the gift of the 3rd eye. Anyone else living at Teban Gardens ever encounter this?😮

I have to admit that the Teban Gardens & Pandan Gardens area feels really eerie even in the day time. My secondary school was located at west coast and i had many friends who use to live in Teban and Pandan. Infact i remember attending swimming lessons in Teban swimming pool which were organised by my secondary school. I dont have any specific stories or incidents to share but all i can say is that im a sensitive person and that area really does give off negative vibes. At night it is way more creepier than the day time. Recently i brought my children to bouncy paradise which is located in Pandan, and i still got the same vibes. Something bad must have happened in that whole area back then, but i havent heard of anything. Please share if you know what that area use to be before the HDB flats were built there in the 80s.
It could be the entities living in the former Pandan Nature Reserve taking their revenge, most of the estate is built on it.
The swimming pool is at pandan gardens. My neighbour almost drown and was saved by lifeguard. He claimed something pulled his legs. That was donkeys years ago
Woa this is the scariest story so far. I've had a similar experience in my ex house about the TV too. Hubby is still.a skeptic n gave so many explanation...and my adopted dog always sees it.

From my experience, the haunting was always preceded by the loud sound of a bird cry after midnight which could be heard inside the entire 3-storey house! And then the show will start again... I lived in the house for almost 3 years! 😅
One of my neighbour and his wife used to live at Tebah Garden blk 17 (no longer exist), they experience people talking, whispering into their ears at night, there are couples of times their dogs would stare out of their living room door howling during night time.
Wanted to ask since all these things happen did the ppl complaint or write in to the hdb or developers, even before they decide to build house there do they even research the place and do some clearing cleansing?
I always eat at teban hawker centre. That place always reminded me of good old kampong days and love to stroll at the big neighbourhood park. Didn't know that place was haunted.
By the way, i grew up in Jalan Besar , French road blk 8. Almost every month, people suicide, they jump from the 20th floor building. Or old people discovered dead until their dead body smell fills the floor.
You should visit the blks 7 and 8 to interview people there, before the blks gets demolished for new bto on prime land😂
At about 12:46 when the TV switched off by itself, there seems to be some movement in front of the TV console, moving to the right.
If the sound of the dragged furniture is heard on their ceiling, then their house is haunted too. Last time some nights we heard dragging of chair fr the toilet or dining ceiling; dragging of heavy equipment ontop of my bedroom and ppl running above the living room and sometimes across to our master bedroom. But we live at the uppermost floor. No neighbour upstairs!
My in-laws lived just below us and complained of the dragged chair also. My kids slept by 9pm every nite that time. I wld be in my room. I don't drag my furnitures. Always lift them up bcoz I do not like making noise
Even Pandan Gardens flat is haunted. My kids ask me who is this old granma outside the windows and we are staying at 10th floor.

Wondering if its the same block. I heard the same dragging sounds from above my flat.
the tv i bought for my mother in law also has a tendency to turn itself on (but not off). when she moved in with us termporarily with the tv, it did the same thing. for us the tv was just faulty and a google search confirms that.
however, for the tv to go on and off it could be it receiving the signal from another remote either from upstairs or downstairs.
as for the dragging of furniture, ask the neighbour to time stamp and record the dragging. in the dead of the night when its really quiet, sounds can travel up or down multiple floors including vibrations.
If it is in a room with closed windows there is no way an IR signal penetrating the walls and floor.
Bell sound yup, sometimes followed by dark shapes. She just validated what I experienced when i was young.

This particular incident, i was in my cousins place, in his room trying to sleep, i was probably 13, after hearing faint bell like sounds (me), we could see something darker than the surrounding darkeness expanding, i take it as moving closer for the corridor of the apartment towards the room. I thought we kinda looked away from it and pretended to sleep until we did. Nothing further happened. There were other incidents that ive experienced from 13 to probably 40 ish. But it is few and far between and i am glad it is not a regular thing. Nowadays if i feel strange i just leave the area as quickly as i could. And prayer and faith helps too. Ofc it is pretty usual to link these initially to some biological reasons.
My grandma used to live in Teban gdns since the 80s and she passed away in 1997. My aunt still lives there blk 44. Two of my uncles used to live at 2 other blocks in Teban as well. Its a creepy little estate. There was once when i was little, i saw a white faced guy at the playground ..he walked towards me and started laughing, i just bolted. He looked demonic and till this day i could still remember his face. That was about 40yrs ago.
The old flat design has a common corridor at the back of each floor that is extremely narrow and creepy. It runs through the entire block and on one side its just walls with little air vents at the top of the back of people's rooms & the place was unusually dark even on a sunny day. Very creepy to me.
Yeah I was there from 86 till abt 97..teban In my opinion back then was like so far from the city..the blocks near the railway track has nearly the same vibe as spooner road..
Lived there in the mid 80s till late 2018. Have not experienced anything. But after my mum passed away in 2018. Paranormal stuffsstart to happen and decided to move out. Past my mum seems to hear or see someone talking to her in the room alone. Not sure is it her imagination say ppl wanted to harm her..

I grew up in a house in the east that was haunted . Up to today I refuse to stay in a landed property because of my experiences . Tell me which part of Singapore is not haunted ? However one thing I learnt is that you cannot be afraid of these familiar spirits . The more you are afraid the more you will feed into their energy

It's an old TV. it might be faulty, that's my first thought as well, but when combined with everything else in the house that has happened and still happening, I can lean to the paranormal side of things. I was there in the house too and something did move while I was there. Will talk more about that in the next part.

I used to also stay in teban..I have to say the penjuru part feels haunted..i woke to my father strangling himself coupled with footsteps in my house...hows dat for an experience..!!

Why happened only in her unit?? Its either a residual entity within the unit or something attached to her or her family members

cemeteries to build HDB flats there are always a lot of
ghost stories. I live in one such estate and the cemetery
is just one bus stop away. One day the government started
clearing the cemetery in the sixties and my place became
a ghost town. Not that people started deserting the place

a hot topic where people talked about encounters with ghosts especially the taxis drivers. Their usual stories
is when they take passengers after midnight the money

What was her reason for installing a CCTV in her bedroom? Was it before or after the bible being "moved" incident? If it is the former, then the CCTV should have captured how the bible landed on the floor.
the CCTV was not installed in the bedroom where the bible incident happened. the CCTV was to watch the dog while they were not around.
If I'm not wrong this isnt the first time Teban Gardens was featured this must be a really haunted place

The only time I had sleep paralysis was after I returned from Bangkok attending a global MLM party. Bloody heck! The people were all “worshipping” the bloody MLM logo. I think that opened a door that should have been shut. That night as I slept, I “saw” a black figure coming alongside my bed and sat on the edge. After that I had sleep paralysis. I repented and never engaged with that MLM again. They were an obsessive bunch. Never had that kind of experience ever again.

To be honest, it is really depend on individual. I use to frequent the place and reservoir at night in the past, but didn't feel anything paranormal. The estate is pretty calm and spacious. I think encounter paranormal is pretty rare.

Not the first actually. I’ve heard many “I don’t believe in ghost cos I’m Christian”, but when I spoke to some older Christians I get a better idea why they say it this way. When you believe in something you are giving it power over you. So they choose to disbelief in ghosts not that they don’t think they exist but they don’t want to accord it thought.
