Living Beside a Ghost House in Thailand (I didn't realise it until I was about to move out)

- Ploy lived in a rented house in Thailand but little did she realise that the house next door was left empty for the specific reason to house spirits. She wonders if that unseen residents there might have came over to visit her. After all, her house was left vacant for a long while before she rented it, and it's still vacant now after she left the place at the end of 2023.
The kind of hauntings in this house were unlike the usual shadowy ones we often hear about.

On the 3rd story, it seems like a dryad, I'm from Myanmar and my village have many encounters with dryads and yes back then my grandpa and his friends would hunt in the forest, boars deers, catching crab in the river. There are often encounter with dryads, these creatures can copy forms and even imitate voices of your loved ones, some are good and some are good.

The nenek maybe was a spirit herself that has the power to create delusional environment to communicate with the human world. The spirit was kind enough to help solve the problem that basically only can be solved through the method it was created. 🙏 I have heard similar stories told by Chinese people in other talk shows to share their ghostly encounter experiences. It seems to me that spirits can create a similar images of a known person just in order to lure a person to another place that maybe is dangerous to be in without a second thought. Knowing this 'strange' phenomenon, always say a protective prayer for oneself is a good habit.

I have also have a haunted experience with tree before.
When I was a teenager I came across a lone tree standing
in a forest clearing surrounded by bushes in the background. What special about this tall tree was a thick
rope hanging down from one of it branch and at it end a hangman noose meant to hang prisoners or murderers. As
I ventured nearer to the tree a ghostly wind suddenly
started to blow and all the leaves started to shakes while
the rope remained still. When I standing in front of it
the rope started to move slowly before me and I could
see the noose swaying left to right. Before long it was
swaying like a clock pendulum and I could not take it
anymore and run for my life. This is very ghostly
and there is no way a hangman noose can come alive.
Even while I was running I looked back and it was still
swaying non stop.

the sun was setting. The hangman
rope was hanging from a lone
tree about five storey high and the
noose was dangling about two
storey high from the ground.

I think Asian belief is that every land territory has a penunggu or Datuk. The Chinese believe every land has a deity in charge. Not only the Chinese set up shrines, a Sikh security guard also setup a shrine to worship a spirit that disturbed most of the workers on site, because he won the lottery after he told the spirit not to disturb him but let him win the lottery. A Malay colleague told me spirits can take the form of your family or fellow residents as it happened to her family when they first moved to their new flat in the west. They would see their mother or father at the dining table reading newspaper but would not respond. It came to a point they would just keep quiet. In Malay mythology, there are other paranormal creatures that are not hantu, other than jin. My own cousin has the third eye and saw one that grew in size every time it got angry.
