  • Denbigh Mental Asylum was constructed between 1844 and 1848, with the intention of providing care for the mentally ill in Wales. The facility was designed in a Gothic Revival architectural style, with sprawling wards and intricate stonework that lent an air of dignity to the institution. At its peak, the hospital could house more than 1500 patients, and it provided employment for many residents in the surrounding area. Over time, however, the treatment of patients within the asylum began to decline, and the once-noble institution became a place of despair and anguish.
By the mid-20th century, the reputation of Denbigh Mental Asylum had suffered considerably due to numerous reports of abuse, overcrowding, and poor living conditions for the patients. The facility was eventually shut down in 1995, and the buildings were left to decay, their windows shattered and their once-proud facades crumbling under the weight of time and neglect.
As the years have passed, stories of the paranormal activity within the asylum have spread, drawing the attention of paranormal investigators, urban explorers, and thrill-seekers alike.
This is the story of the ghostly residents of Denbigh Mental Asylum, which stands in ruins today.
So, folks... lock your doors, shut your windows, turn down your lights and come with us into the other side.

I actually quite like the narration but i am curious why the entire podcast with discussion is not uploaded here. I think the discussion elevates the podcast from good to great 😊.
And just another suggestion. There were many mentions of the hauntings being documented. It will be nice if links to these can be added in the description below for others to check it out.

Because I felt the discussion suited the podcast more. CZcams content consumption will find the full version too draggy. But maybe we could try.

Really boring and uninteresting. Please relook and reconsider this narrative only format. The number of views and almost insignificant likes, say it all. 😂

I’ve other content that you can enjoy. There are different formats and styles to cater to different tastes. Personally, I enjoy The Other Side, and that’s why I’m producing it. I don’t do things only to cater for stats. I do things because I enjoy it. The happy bonus is that someone else out there likes it too. And besides, if I wanted to get a high from view count, I would drop long form content on CZcams and produce 90 seconds comedy clips on IG and TT. Or even just do cat videos. Those will get a higher view count than any of the content I’ve ever produced, but… what’s the point? I left my better paying day job to do SC full time because it fills me with so much purpose to tell these stories. I do it for me, I do it for the confessors, I do it for those who enjoy it. And that’s why I’m able to still smile at the content Ive created despite the insignificant likes and view count.
