The last thing I would ever expect from any hotel managers I lodged a complaint for ghostly sightings is that all other rooms are fully taken (even though they aren’t exactly). Lol. @augustuswee1940 Před 2 měsíci +7

      @benjamintingkahhin1363: 🤐
My Perspective: Any form of structure is likely to attract entities. Just like humans, all beings need a point of cover, rest, and protection. Why we encounter what we encounter is either when our 'peaceful' dwelling/environment has been disrupted, or emotionally disturbed. Otherwise, we all can and have lived side-by-side in peace.
Accommodations, such as hotels have elements that were disrupted from the construction and deconstruction, the people occupying, and the emotional disruptions e.g., suicide or murder. These are what bring us those unnatural/abnormal experiences we get. This is not unique to hotels, but any structure or even environment.
So, let us live in peace with them. I get to drink coffee and tea with them occasionally. 😁😛😋🤪

@@augustuswee1940that's why in some Buddhist countries (like TH 🇹🇭 ), they have "spirit houses" to appease the spirits of the land. People offer food & drinks to the spirits.
In Catholic countries like PH 🇵🇭, some houses have a grotto with a statue of Mother Mary. It's also common in both countries to have a "house blessing" (either by monks or priest/ pastor) prior to occupying the house/ commercial building. (I agree with you re: the "beings" since I've had my own experiences.)
Is it common in SG (or MY) to have a house blessing?

I had a case where in a guest just checked in and came back and he said there was a ghost in the room, we immediately changed his room, we though the room had been double checked-in but upon investigating the room had actually been blocked the whole day, no record of anyone entering or coming out. Even cctv couldn't find anyone going in or out. So we didn't know if there was a person inside or if the guest actually saw a ghost 😅

I'm scared of lifts. One night my grandpa was rushed to hospital, me and my mum went in to checked on him. At 3am we went to the lift we pressed the wrong floor. It went straight down to the Cancer Ward. So we went back inside the lift. We pressed the button. The door close, then suddenly it open again, we press it close and it open by it self and close 3 times. The next day my grandma said at around early mornings 2-3am my grandpa said he can see a bunch of kids playing outside his room. Telling him to come join. This is a restricted ward for serious patients so there was no one there. 😮

My advice to those who frequent hotels.
Especially those who are staying in rooms that are suspected haunted.
Never be rude nor say anything that might offend anything, once you entered the room and getting goosebumps..
And if you really can't get to change another room under certain circumstances, seek permission to stay in that room by speaking politely, eventhough you can't see anything there.
Say sorry for intruding their privacy as you are there for a night or two and tell them you already paid for your stay.
Keep telling that you are staying temporarily and that you will never bother them and tell them not to bother you during your stay there.
Also, do not forget to flush the toilet bowl first and say sorry, once inside the room as that's the most convenient place for those spirits to lingers on.
Never challenge those spirits by any means because you are staying as a guest while they are the owner of those space.
And if you are to follow my advice, you will never have any nightmare and would sleep peacefully till next morning.
I've dealt with demons, devils and many kind of spirits and supernatural entities before and I know who they are and how they behave.

It truly happened without a doubt. In the middle of the night, I received a phone call from my sister. She has travelled and stayed in a hotel in Singapore.
She told me she went to the bathroom with her clean clothes and a towel. She finished showing her towel missing.
That was just the beginning of the night. Newspapers, things were moving once she turned off the lights.
Called the reception to change to another room. They refused to do so. She got to put up with that for the whole night.
In our understanding, we know there is another dimension that we cannot see, but we can sense. It would be happened to everyone. However, it is a common matter to people who have low aura, and they are quite sensitive and easy to get impacted.
The solutions for these individuals are always mind their thoughts to keep that pure, maintain kindness acts, think and speak kind words, eat well, and sleep well. Look after their well-being to ensure stay healthy all the time. Avoid negative emotions like greedy, jealousy, hatres, etc

I was in a hotel room just after the lockdown period that had an aircon that kept adjusting to a warm temperature no matter how many times I adjusted it back down. Stayed one night and told the reception their aircon was broken. Don’t know if it was a machine thing or something else. It was a really tight corner room with windows looking out to the roof. Didn’t like the layout first of all and also hated roofs. Especially after my Thai friend told me she saw a translucent woman sitting on the rooftop gazing at the sunset. The Thais believe spirits allow themselves to be seen by certain people to seek their help. They reason that it takes up a lot of energy to make themselves visible so they have to have a good reason for doing so. Years back I’d already prayed never to see or feel such things and I haven’t. Only this one weird occurrence.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world due to one of my previous jobs. Never knocked on doors or anything and was lucky that nothing ever happened to me in hotel rooms. But once when I was staying in a hotel in China, can't remember Shanghai or Beijing, I was walking back to my room from the lift and the hallway was really long as it was a big hotel. I was only a few doors away from my room when suddenly the lights started going out one by one, starting from the one furthest from me. It happened very fast but for me, it was like playing in slow mo and really felt like in a horror movie, as if something was coming at me. My heart was in my chest and I had never ever felt that way before, having stayed in hotels almost half the world over. When the last and nearest light went out, it became pitch black. I had never experienced such absolute darkness before. It was all quiet. I was left immobilized, wondering what just happened. Then I remembered passing by the hallway service phone a few steps away and pretended to calmly walk back there with light from my cellphone to call reception and ask them to come fix it. Told them I'd be waiting. Really didn't feel like going back to my room in that kind of darkness. I was relieved beyond belief when the hallway lights up again and a technician came up. That was the only time I ever really felt scared at a hotel. To this day, I'm still not sure if that was just a simple short circuit or something supernatural. And that was more than 10 years ago.

I just saw this channel. I remember a story in about the school in during my senior high about the lift. Now this school I'm about to share is a same school but in a different branch (location) which is known as the "Main Campus". This campus isn't like our campus that is within a big lot since ours have different bldgs, unlike the main campus which is a 1 tall bldg. So the gym is on the top floor level and there were times we had tournaments there since I was a varsity before. Going back, I was told that before there was a janitress found in the elevator unconscious when the elevator got to the ground floor. It was said that when she got to the top floor (the gym) she got surprised by a woman jumping out towards her to which she fell unconscious. You might think it's a prank but the thing is it was already late at night when that happened to her.
Just had to share since it was one of the stories that scared me especially there are times we're still at school due to either an event or tournament to which almost ends at night. That campus really gives you the creep to be honest. I've heard a lot of stories and thankfully I haven't heard any worst stories in our campus. The main campus is way older than ours btw and I already graduated in that school.

I felt the same way as him once in a Japanese crematorium. Couldn't see anyone but I felt like I was standing in the middle of a crowded train station. Interestingly when we performed funeral rites on our deceased loved one the feeling of multiple entities left the room. Almost as if they knew it was time to go and give us some privacy with our loved one.

😮🙏 Thank You So Much Sir Manager for sharing with us some of the real life experiences in the hotel industries ... Yes , that's why experienced travellers do follow certain protocols to reduced problems with the Ghostly Beings when using a hotel room like #1 : Knocking on the front door 3 times before entering ... #2 : Apologise for the inconveniences of using this room for a couple of days & Thank Them for Their understandings to the empty room ...#3 : Open the toilet light & flush the toilet ... Open up the night curtain to let in more light ... Say a Prayer for protection ... If the Ghostly Entity does appear in the room , then say a Prayer for protection again ... If it is a Very Stubborn Ghostly Entity then just ask the hotel reception for a change of room! 🙏🕯🌍✌🕊

I had a weird experience in a lift before too. I used to work in a hospital. The hospital was on a hill top and the mortuary was on the street level. The mortuary had a lift at the back that staff could use as a shortcut to the hospital.
The lift had three floors. The ground floor was at the street level. The third floor is to the hospital on the hill. The second floor is actually the tunnels underneath the hospital. The tunnels are used by logistic staff to transport hospital equipment. It is also used to transport those that had passed away from the hospital to the mortuary.
One of the nights, after ending work, I decided to take the lift shortcut to the street. So, I get in the lift and press the ground floor button, as usual. However, the lift gets to the second floor, stops, the door opens, and stays open. It is also night time, so the tunnel lights were not fully on. It was sparsely lit.
Now I thought, someone must have pressed the lift button. However, there was no one. The lift also refused to close on its own. Imagine staring into a dark tunnel, alone in the mortuary lift.
I immediately thought, don't look behind. I pressed the close door button. Never looked back, and quickly scurried out as soon as I reached the ground floor.
I didn't see or feel any ghost or spirits but the experience sure creeped me out.

He told his Mom who told him to shut up and don’t look that way lol 😂 When he got to America, he continued to see stuff. In our first house (20 years later), I was away at college and he heard kids playing with a ball in my bedroom. He went to my room to check but nobody was there. Then he heard the kids and the ball in the backyard. As soon as he looks, everything stops. Finally he hears the ball in the living room, turns around, and sees 3 kids playing. My Dad says he remembers seeing those kids (as spirits) in Phuket. He asks the kids what they want and why they followed him. He tells me the oldest one said in Thai (my dad can understand but cannot speak Thai), “you didn’t give us a name” (or something like that). My Dad named them W1, W2, and W3 for some reason and they went away for years until my Dad started having dreams about them, and then hearing the ball in the house again. One time, my Dad rushed into my room (when I was back from college) and said, “Do you hear the ball??” My whole body felt like it got shocked cuz I knew exactly8o what he was referring to. I told him I thought it was my sister who has her room next to mine (she plays basketball so she has a lot of balls). My sister ran into my room and said she thought it was me! We followed the noise to the backyard again but it stopped before we got there. It couldn’t have been anybody else cuz our backyard faces the Pacific Ocean. It’s our house, then our yard, then a cliff down to a beach which leads to the ocean. Nobody can get back there unless they go through our house. Anyway, wish I found your channel sooner. I love listening to these stories!

Interesting. Sometimes changing rooms doesn't do anything. If the room isn't specifically the haunt, they could be tied to the land. Or just the whole building. Or some people there. I went to a particular entertainment venue last night. A ghost followed me home. It wasn't "haunting" the place, it just like some of the workers there. Since my family can interact w/ spirits he wanted a chance to not be "invisible" any more. I went to a meeting in another state once. The hotel wasn't "haunted" but they had an invisible guest. She followed me to my room, I could feel her presence. I could have changed rooms but she would have just followed me. She actually followed me home and has been here ever since. She's actually pretty sweet and makes sure that other spirits follow the rules (we're not going to stop spirits from being curious about us, we're like a beacon in the dead of night. So we set rules to avoid "bad" ones).

"Being" Haunting is common as they seek companionship. If they behave, like Eugene and his 'house' spooks, or not too violent, they are good as they are, often, are around us. However, the vengeful or violent ones, are different stories.

i travelled quite a bit but never have i encountered a spooky encounter until i stayed at this 5 star hotel in Surabaya. There was huge painting of a lady on the wall on top of the bed head. When i first looked at it, the painting looked interesting to me in an artistic way. The lady was painted black. kind of modernist art. At night, i became uncomfortable and could not sleep. i felt this weirdness coming from the painting and the lady in the painting. Cold not sleep the whole cos i was feeling creeped out. I stayed in that room for only a night, thankfully.

There was this incident at a 5 star hotel in Orchard Road.
A particular (very high) floor was reserved for band members and singers.
A newly arrived Taiwanese female singer (with her mother) was given a room on that floor.
After checked into the room, later she heard noise from the bathroom, like someone taking a shower.
She thought that her mum was using the bathroom.
But when she went inside, her mum was sitting on the bed.
She quickly grabbed her mother and went to front desk to demand for another room.
Nobody told her that room was haunted.

I stayed at Novotel Pratunam in Thailand and I was awoken to the sound of a loud thud at around 3am and found two big books on the floor that couldn’t have fallen due to the deep shelf below the TV in front of our bed and the curtain half closed. My wife and I woke up the next morning with both the curtains completely closed and the lights off, which couldn’t have happened as they were thick blackout curtains. We later found out that my kids in the connecting room next door was in a “special” room (the exact words of the hotel staff who checked us in) which was a room for sick or old people as the toilets had hospital type hand rails. I googled the reviews for the hotel the next day when I got home and found lots of reviews about it being haunted!

20 years ago I worked as a night auditor for a London hotel - I remember a few spooky events but the one that always stays with me was a night where the fire alarms would flash a warning in a far parts of the 3rd floor. Without fail every 40 mins the alarm would go off and protocol was for staff to go investigate and decide whether to investigate. So this one night it would go off every 40 minutes from mid night, I’d send the porter and nothing. This kept on till about 3am, the night porter was off on rounds so I thought I’d go up and investigate instead. I reached the 3rd floor and headed to whether this sensor was and as I turned the corner, I would swear that there was a woman in a long old fashioned green dress sitting on one of the sofas, I glanced around to see if there was anyone else and looked back and she was gone. No more alarms that night after that - I guess she just wanted me to come up

Absolutely! I was travelling a lot and I had STRANGE encounters in hotel, especially the very old hotels. in vienna, i had my laptop closed and silent on the table when it suddenly started to play music for no apparent reason at about 10 pm. generally the energy in the room did not allow anyone to sleep. it was like a very agitated energy. another one was in mexico. i could never sleep well in that room either, i was always awake at 3 am, watching some movies. so one night, i heard loud and clear: 3 knocks on my door. i thought "who is at my door at 3 am?" went to the door, opened up - nobody there. and not even one sound outside: no birds, no crickets, no wind, NOTHING. it was dead silent. which is weird because that hotel in mexico was surrounded by a garden. also there was a rumour that a little child who drowned in the pool there was still on my floor. so i thought maybe it was that ghost kid who knocked my door.

We stayed in a hotel next to a cemetery in the Austrian Alps. Our room is located very near the cemetery. We didn’t feel anything strange but my dog was very scared and hid under the table. At night I didn’t feel too comfortable looking into the corridor. At 3 am, I heard 3 knocks but didn’t know where it came from. Next morning I read one old review saying they heard cracking sound at night and the changed the room. I wonder if they said this to protect the hotel because it is new hotel and staff are very nice. Next day we changed the room. Quite uncanny. At 3 am and 3 knocks like your experience.
