Very interesting episode
It's not unusual to detect fragrances in gardens and parks. I often smell it in such places and would hunt down the source. Usually it's some flower in a bush, jasmine shrubs are very commonly grown in bushes by Nparks due to their fragrance. Foul smells are common too, Nparks often deposit compost/fertilisers at the base of trunks. It smells mostly like manure. As for sounds of "quacking", it's often nocturnal birds and frogs/toads. Croaks sound a lot like quacks at night. If all natural sources can be dispelled then maybe spiritual causes are present.
What Eugene did not mention about susuk is there is some "Pantang". The few things that i remember is, there is a few things you cannot eat. the other one is you have to be home by around midnight I think, if not people will see your true appearance. For men, susuk can be used for strengths. There is a story about a prison warden he tells stories of samsengs/gangsters using susuk.There is also a video by UXM on youtube about this thing. "Quacking" is less common, but what if it was 'talking', not clear, appearing to be mumbling in the distance, and there is no one around?

Burning bodies smells really bad. Like REALLY BAD. I experienced this when i still a child, following my family to the Bright Hill Temple. Just happened to pass by the place where they cremate bodies and they happened to be cremating someone. Me and my big mouth just said out loud ' so smelly!' and instantly got kicked in my ass and fell. I think I wrote this confession before in the group. The smell isn't like what some people think; it's not like BBQ smell. This is just bad. And the smell, it kind of stick to you, in your hair your clothes. I think it has something to do with burning of the fats in the body.

The sakyant is like more like reflection than protection. Bad stuff that did to you reflect back to them. But a little extreme there.

@@gilchong9083 it a old Cambodia scripture. Like a kind of “black magic”. So i guess depend on the master that do the sakyant. If and only if the person really do really bad things to u then will work. But the stuff back must be like equal ah. But the suicide part abit extreme that what i mean. With intention or without still will work i guess.

That squawking you hear at night are just crows. In modern times, they are known to forage at night and also have guard duty. My area in Pasir Ris also has plenty of crows squawking at night. There are also a few frangipani around my block with some very rare sightings (although only once at a frangipani tree cause they do have better things to do besides lingering around a tree) but the squawking are crows no doubt. And the Ayatul Kursi in 12:50 only works properly if it is recited live. A recording has limited effect. Also keep calm and make sure to recite correctly otherwise don't be surprised if the jinn corrects your poor recitation. The jinn probably face palmed if you recited it wrongly while panicking. As for susuk, not being able to bury the body is due to the earth not willing to accept such a tainted corpse or so I've heard.
