Can I get specialized in the human mind/brain after graduating in biomedical science?

Maybe you can help, I have PCOS and so I want to learn how to heal / treat this condition and help other women I want to study the root cause and use plants, nutrition, supplements, exercise, lifestyle changing to heal / treat l. My long term goal is to set up my own private practice treating women with PCOS symptoms / reproductive health and lifestyle. I want to create my own lifestyle products for said associated symptoms. I’m a mature student with two degrees in Psychology. The idea is to study biomedicine BSc then phd in functional medicine. Is biomedicine the right course for me and if not what are the alternatives. I don’t want to be a conventional doctor but I want the necessary qualifications and license to treat. I’m in London, UK btw.

About math, my research in biomed is literally mathematical modeling of biochemical processes of the human body. In my university we even have a whole subject about this kind of research. Of course you don’t have to love math to study biomedical sciences, because you can choose other areas of research that don’t have much math, but if you like math you can follow a career in biomed with a lot of math as I am doing

that was just what i needed - age 37 doing my first year/semester of medical science, after 15 years as a network engineer (IT) and self destructing with drugs and alcohol. I hope to gain the skills and knowledge to be able to research psychedelic molecules in treating neurological disorders/mental health disorders and other unknown unknowns. I will persist.

I have a question, what if someone tries to pay attention but things just are not registering in their mind. It only registers like 30% of the information and remaining is just getting sidetracked while closely paying attention. Note: this also happens with basic things as well

If you hold a biological science PhD say in genetics, would you be required to hold board certification in laboratory science?
