    Love the new name! Congratulations again on the 4k. You inspire us all to achieve high :D

    I thought "Biomed Master" was a reflection of Kevin in the Master's program. And I was expecting the new channel name would be "Biomed Doctor" :P
    Of course Biomeducated makes so much sense, and I am the last person to ask for creative names as one of my cats is literally "MaoB" (means baby cat in Chinese) and I named him as a kitten... awkward when he becomes 16 lbs and I still call him "baby cat" every day.
    Will send in my video soon! It would be so cool to show up on your platform, rooting for you to reach 5K and 10K sub!!

      Hehe! Good to know that not everyone saw it that way :D
      And if your cat stays cute, then why not ;)
      Looking forward to your clip, Vera!

    Can biomed graduates work in hospital and clinical labs and stuff? Eg in pathology departments etc? Or do biomed grads only head over to research? Also, what are the major difference between health science and Biomedical science? Is it easier to get a job in hospitals with a health science degree rather than biomed degree?

    • @Biomeducated
      @Biomeducated  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi there! Yes they can, but you need accreditation for that. Are you in the UK?
      Research is the other orientation, BUT also with plenty of other jobs/career options besides research. I don't know what a health science degree is. Could you send me a link perhaps...

      Sorry for the late reply. Some universities in UK offer healthcare science degrees. I plan to study biomed in UK. Could you kindly tell me how important a sandwich course is? Not all universities offer it and I'm very worried if not enrolling into such course drag me behind when it comes to employment.

      @@kashfiaa6747 In the UK, if you want to work in a medical lab (NHS, accredited), then yes it will decrease your chances if you don't start building your portfolio :)

    Hi would you recommend me a book for biomedical lab skills like how to use micropippetes etc ?

    • @Biomeducated
      @Biomeducated  Před 3 lety

      Hmmm, never had that. I learned by experience in the lab :p Here's a potentially more valuable tip: type in: 'how to pipette correctly' in YT search bar ;)

      @@Biomeducated problably yes i agree with you ! I also want to search for a good book for basic chemistry for life sciences ( a book for beginners like not much information but not less .)

      @Biomeducated  Před 3 lety +1

      Hmm, that one too was a course published by our own professor, so difficult for me to judge... But I suppose if you go on Google and type in best medical chemistry handbook for students you can get a bit further, no?
