In a post nuclear war, if you find intact machinery designed to make a single action army, you put them back into production. Any factory produced weapon is going to be superior to the alternative of fitting some pipes together to try and make a functioning gun. Gun Runners or some other faction has probably found such machinery, and that's why there are still Single Action Armies in use in the wasteland.

So much wrong with this trailer, camera movement, animations, water, absolutely no gameplay, terminator is using an M4, the dude with the M4 has no optics let alone irons, trailer gives literally no hint to what it’s about, and the list goes on

Their is a OVERHAUL MOD for Fallout 4 coming out at some point that make the game Set in Londen England. I think Jonathan might enjoy that.

Yeah, we all hate the "Legendary" Weapon system Bethesda added for Fallout 4 and by extension carried into Fallout 76. Like I'm all one for "RPG mechanics" but like you, I DO agree some of those Effects have no LOGICAL place in Fallouts MOSTLY grounded setting. (Vampiric probably being the most egregious) At least when to comes to "HEAVY" Weapons from the Fallout Universe, they are CLEARLY meant to be used in Power Armor. Using them on Foot though, Eh suspension of Disbelief, maybe they just have Super Strength. I do love the additional weapon that got added to FO76, now if only they were in FO4....man that game was LACKING in Arms. You could probably make Black Powder guns pretty easily in the Apocalypse, you would just need to find some GOOD SPRINGS for the Flint Lock Mechanism. Come to think of it, the ONLY THINGS Bethesda has yet to "recreate" in their new engine would be the Tesla Cannon and stuff like that.

He might of had issues getting the round in the rifle because he was just shot in the back for times Turret was cgi. In the game. It was representative of the heavy turret. If you have enough Defense points from turrets and whatnot, better chance of defeating who is attacking (even if you never go there) "of course the character has to survive"...well...lets use that term loosely

I realĺy appreciate the giant smoke cloud after firing the blackpowder muzzle loader in this game. It dissipates too quickly, and there isn't the 8 foot flame leaping out the barrel, but I can't think of another game that properly depicts shooting a blackpowder gun. First deer I ever got with a gun was a muzzle loader. I was worried cus I couldn't tell which way it ran with the giant smoke cloud. Once it cleared I could see it didn't run at all. Probably had a heart attack. Imagine going into your kitchen to get a snack and a giant flame jumps out of the houseplant 😂.
