It's not Meghan Marckle related, but I have a question for you, Baggage Claim: What happens when a narcissist refuses to change? Let's say this is a desperate individual, who has historically put his own wealth and greed before any and all else, to the point where they've ruined personal relationships and now live a life completely in isolation? And what if this person has acted this way for, say, fifteen years. At that point, is this person able to change, if at all? Is it too late for this person? Second question: now let's say that person I mentioned was a streamer and CZcams personality surrounded by a fanbase he's cultivated through his own negativity. And his fans have devolved into yes men who believe his every word and are forbidden to criticize this person due to years of badgering and manipulating and guilt tripping their audience. Can this person overcome their narcissism despite these conditions, or has this kind of environment made such an endeavor impossible to achieve?

This would explain why so much being produced today is such garbage. Now, I'm not saying that people working on comics, books, movies, and games are fully fledged narcissists, but I do think certain environments encourage people to embrace their narcissistic traits: traits we all have. So many are being told that to be a good person, you need to be aware of the inherent racism, sexism, etc, that certain marginalized groups face. And if you're not in the battle full on, you are part of the problem. So artists, having this appeal to the ego that they can create something that will change the world and therefore be remembered forever. Unfortunately, the artists also know little about the topic or their audience. So while they push their social justice message, they fail to do any thing. It's the bare minimum. They don't realize that just including the topic in their work isn't enough. It won't just come together because you imagined it. I found that sometimes I had to go to very dark places to write something convincing. Yes, even for things that are merely a distinct good versus evil.

I understand not wanting to conform yourself to expectations. I personally don't. Im a "man" because Im physically male. Whatever other baggage you have associated with that word is 50 shades not my problem. At the risk of sounding masculine: I don't owe you anything because you don't pay my bills. However, there is a difference between not conforming to expectations you didn't consent to and common decency. Being polite, respectful and considerate are all required expectations for all interpersonal interactions. I don't personally do labels in the sense I will use labels that other people use solely for communication. I say "Im gay" because I am not normally interested in women, don't want them making moves, and I want men making moves. The label and identity don't go any further than that. If I am ever interested in a woman... okay, I'll role with it. Idc. Additionally, "finding yourself" is no excuse to act unethically. You are finding yourself. Everyone else shouldn't be dragged into that. Finally, how you are operating in reality needs to reflect how you operate. Ex. If you are seeing only 1 person for a year but state you are not exclusively dating... No. You are exclusively dating. You have exclusively dated someone for a year. Essentially you are trying to double dip by getting all the benefits of commitment with all benefits of non-commitment. Doesn't work that way

I'm still waiting for the day where everyone is honest about Samantha. Her character was great, but she's a freaking unicorn that doesn't exist in real life. Any woman that has gone through that many men is not psychologically healthy. I wouldn't want a man who's that big of a w**** either, it's not normal for either sex. People, I am not a prude. I talk dirty, spend a decade working in bars and other adult entertainment, I have definitely had sex out of wedlock..... I'm just trying to be honest here. There's no such thing as a Samantha. Plus that whole I love myself more so I'll just stay single thing, it's so narcissistic. She basically dumped Smith because she got bored and lonely? That b******* about being able to buy her own ring? What the fuck? The satisfaction comes from knowing you can buy your own ring, she already knows she can do that. That whole plot is just stupid. I love the real moments, like when she gets sick and she realizes that none of the men she f**** want to come over and help her. Because that's real life, but in the show everyone's just like that's okay cuz your friends will be your nurses...yay.
