  • Before Don't Worry Darling, even has a chance to woo its audience it was embroiled in all sorts of controversy thanks to its director Olivia Wilde and her comments regarding the firing of Shia LaBeouf as well as villainous comparisons with Jordan Peterson and how he is the hero of the Incel community. The movie itself is not great, but unfortunately, it's also promoting a pretty terrible message.
In this video, I dive into the drama as well as why Jordan Peterson and Shia LaBeouf got dragged into some intense virtue signaling.

Have you ever noticed how celebrities will start dating those they are making movies with? Often times, its for publicity. If you pay attention, they usually break up after the movie comes out and bombs. Ben Affleck and JLO, did this back in the early 2000s, with her stupid woke film Gigli. Harry Styles isn't very bright so the kid probably thought this crazy lady actually liked him......lol

She has a shady past in terms of the people she’s been associated with. I’m watching this to see if her Weinstein friendship was mentioned. (No, none of the following.) His behavior was an open secret in Hollywood (joked about in TV shows and award programs) and she only distanced herself from him after the Ronan expose and even then hers was a delayed response. A real feminist wouldn’t be kissy face / close with him for all those years (she can’t have not known). She was also name dropped in an allegation about Weinstein (two years before the expose)-Weinstein trying to get a model (who wanted to go into acting) into bed proposed a 3-some with the two of them and Wilde. Why Wilde? And then, the hiring of Nick Kroll when his father’s firm worked to silence Weinstein’s victims? Um, no. Too close an association for comfort. Surely there were other actors good for the role if she cares about women so much.
She praises Keidis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers whenever even after his auto-biography where he brags about statutory rape of a 14 year old girl. What sort of feminist does that? (A fake one, a feminist of convenience, one who uses feminism like she uses everything else to get what she wants.)
And let’s not forget her close friend Paul Haggis, who was arrested for rape this year (with multiple allegations against him). She served on a board with him of a charity he started.
Perhaps she didn’t know about Haggis, but she had to know about Weinstein, Kroll, and Keidis. Too much to be explained away if you ask me. She’s a pathological liar and an opportunist. She uses feminism to excuse herself of her own bad behavior. She’s just a user all the way around.

Great analyse! I’m a 53 year old single mother and Dr Peterson is my powerhouse. I used to feel shame for not having a career but since I read his books and follow his talks I’m proud of my place in life, he also made me realize why I was too agreeable, to take my place, put my limits, how proud I am of the daughters I raised and their humility, how virtuous they are. Tammy also made me closer to god, thankful for life, brave to recover from illness, Jordan helped me understand my ptsd and gave me hope. It became cliche but he saved my life, in 2016 I began watching him and I felt suicidal from abuse flashbacks, poverty, deep sadness. Nowadays, listening to him is a reassuring presence and I don’t care what people say or think about me, I know who I am. My daughters are confident and strong, the youngest is now 16 and she has such good values, she stands out and other kids refer to her like a little life coach. She isn’t in a hurry to burn stages or give herself to please a boy. Dr Peterson empowered me and my girls.

He did this moments before he lashed out and killed multiple people. I remember watching that video and wishing I had been there to tell him that everything he thought about women was totally wrong, and to SHOW him this so that maybe he wouldnt have gone on this rampage. these are the people Peterson is targeting to help. THESE are the people Wilde is targeting with her incel comment. We keep beating people donw and than wondering why they get angry and lash out on the world.
To the second part, it just hot home so much. Im only 28 but ive always been mature for my age. I was the only person I knew who wantednto wait until I was married to have sex. I struggled for years trying to find a man with the same values. It was so difficult and finally I just gave in and slept with a person I liked but who really didnt want a future with me. Ive regretted it ever since but zi k ow ot wont get any easier. It disgusts me that every man that you date will expect you to sleep with him. So you might be genuinely trying to meet the love of your life but if each one doesnt work out you have to start from scratch. I wanted my body count to be "0" and now its already two because they leave almost immediately if you dont have sex with them. I agree with everything that author said and I would love to read her book because Im sick of walking alone with these "archaic" Ideals through life and feeling lonely and odd co.pared to everyone else. The west's obsession with sexual freedom I believe is the downfall of our society. Ots led to at least half of the social issues we all lement today.

From then on it came out that she cut the only black woman's role in the film, and was difficult to work with, and left her husband for her subordinate on set (that's bad too), but you don't treat other women in a belittling way, especially not when they are working for you, and you have more power over them.

What strikes me as very odd is that Wilde is accusing the patriarchy as mean and deceitful and yet here she is running this $40 million production. Then she's using this production to shield her personal affair with Styles from her fiance and children, came up with excuses for her family not to come on set, didn't show up on set to direct for several days, lied about the reasons Shia LaBeouf quit the production, etc. So Wilde has learned the means to use movie productions to get away with deceitful things

I'm a 34 year old woman (who runs my own business and has no plans of marriage or children) who absolutely loves Jordan Peterson and gets a lot out of his lectures. I can listen to him discuss roles of men and woman etc without getting upset and defensive. I live my life the way that is right for ME personally, because only I know how to do that, but I can still agree with his views on roles in society as a whole. I just love to listen to him talk about anything, he truly has a great mind and his answers are always so well thought out and articulated. I particularly like the way he handles conflict or to a lesser degree a difference of opinion. He never people pleases and says EXACTLY what he thinks regardless of the outcome and that is so Nobel and shows true integrity (and its bloody hard to do) It's a blessing to be able to learn from people who know more about a topic than you do.
Any who call him misogynistic are simply repeating a narrative they heard and have not ever sat down and actually LISTENED to him which is a shame for them.
Lastly, the clip at the end - watch how Jordan's face changes when pierce Morgan (hypocrite) calls those men 'weirdo loners' ...THIS is exactly the thing that DOESNT HELP THEM and the emotion Jordan expresses after that comment makes it so clear that he is sick of the way people lack understanding and perpetuate these problems. When Jordan looked him dead in the eye and said 'SURE, WHY NOT' I couldn't have loved him more haha.

So before Inceldom became a mainstream word and their communities were broken up I used to browse incel threads out of curiosity (I'm happily married and not at all part of the community) and so I can tell you that Olivia Wilde has no idea who or what incels are. The "nice guy" meme doesn't represent the majority of them and they are not mostly white men. From my experience, the majority of them are actually brown, Asian, or black and a common talking point for them was that because whiteness is considered more attractive in western societies than other ethnicities white men have a leg up.
Most of these guys also are tremendously depressed, have very little self-worth and think of themselves as being hideous. Some of them recognize that these perceptions cement their inceldom as it corrodes their confidence and makes them more socially awkward than they already were. Some of them aren't even necessarily physically unattractive but they have abysmal social skills often due to being shy as young children which snowballed into them being social outcasts all their life. They don't have friends, they don't know how to interact with people and they are lonely.
Yes, for a lot of them this leads to resentment of the opposite sex as they feel they have never been given a chance but it's not limited to the opposite sex. The chad meme comes from the same community and though it's been twisted now to mean a guy that's awesome it originally referred to their bullies. Dumb attractive guys that are accepted by everyone, get all the girls and treated them like garbage for no reason. I'll point out here that "Chad" is a name from White American culture, so again you can see the resentment of white people.

Huh. I appreciate you sharing that insight, I guess I had also been misled in favor of the stereotype. I feel badly for them, but....well, I don't know. I'm a former model, but by society's standards I'm not worth much anymore, married and pregnant with my third child (an adopted embryo, for that matter). But honestly, if society disapproves, I'm probably getting something right lol but I digress.
I still have an instinct to keep my distance from those guys, sorry as I may feel for them. Because I've found that if I show them kindness or empathy, they just glom on and read way, WAY too far into what I'm putting out there. It's really unfortunate, because it also perpetuates the cycle. I have to be, at best, friendly but distant. Which is of course interpreted as I don't like their looks, or their lack or money, or whatever. Whereas it's actually just a self-preservation thing, based on past cringe experiences (I won't elaborate, it's just too bad is all).

By they are so filled with self loathing that it is impossible for them to even consider it. I find it pretty ironic that people are laughing at Jorden Peterson crying. Is that what we want from men right now? To be openly emotional? He's always represented, to me, a subversion of toxic masculinity. He's openly emotional, he's empathetic, hes humble, and a good leader. Those are all traits that I would say are positive to masculinity. It's so wild to me that people demonize him when every time I've listened to him I've been thankful he has such an audience with young men. Hes the only one who can turn incels from their self destructive behavior. Hes encouraging trying to be the best version of yourself you can be. Why is that controversial?

She gave it to the dog- walker she employed to walk the dog, as she "didn't want to be responsible for the dog when she was spending the night at harry's place" Apparently the dog walker loved the dog so much, they jumped at the chance to take him. That's because when gynocentric "venusians" say they want "martians" to be emotional what they really mean is that they want "martians" to be emotional like them (child minded/conditioned "venusians"). The main reason they want this is so a) they don't have to deal with the complexity of talking or trying to understand/empathize with someone who thinks differently than them and b) have a "martian" available for them to use as an emotional outlet for them to unload their unresolved emotional issues on without the fear of being judged or having the man point out any inconsistencies or logical fallacy (like "venusians" do with each other) and without having to show appreciation to the "martian for it" or without having to be expected to give/do something of equal value for that "martian" in return.
And they trash "martians" when they show emotions because seeing "martians" beeing screwed and be miserable in every way makes them feel special and important since it gives them a sense of superiority just for being of the other sx. This is because they think it is "justice" for the bad stuf other "venusias" went through in some other parts of history showing their lack of individuality and that their entire personality begins and ends with their gndr. They relish and enjoy "martians" suffering and going through problems to the point that they need to see them suffer and be ignored because it makes them feel even more superior for just being a "venusian" due to the narcissistic and above all predatory mentality they've been conditioned to have.

It was also hard because I like work too and I believed that I’d made a permanent decision in staying home. At one point I heard him describe that depressed people might be undereducated and I knew that was me. When I heard him talk about women regretting a high powered job with no room for children or women who’d made it to the top quitting to be with children I knew that was me too.
I got myself together and buckled down into being the best stay at home Mom I could be AND made plans to go back to school once they were old enough to be in school. It pumped passion back into my life. My family IS my priority and I do not desire I high powered job, just meaningful work. So I focused on the meaning of my children and planned for when they would no longer need as much of my attention and eventually leave home.
Starting grad school in January to study as a marriage and family counselor:) He’s pretty inspirational as a therapist too. I don’t know why we don’t discuss this as an option more though-being a mother young and having a career later. It’s the best way to have both for those who do. The only thing preventing it is societal expectations and refusal to take women seriously who have spent time at home-and liberal people can be some of the worst at that.

Thanks for making this video! It really angered me that Wilde would attack someone who’s done nothing but help those who need it. Hollywood hates to hear it but these men are marginalized and need to be reached. I pray things get better for them.

Humans are just like animals, the males attract the females, marriage and the financial dependence on men has stopped natural selection from taking place for millennia and Ronald Reagan is really the one to blame for feminism in America, before his economic policies, feminists were a minority of a sex that was a minority of a counter culture movement that was a minority of generations among many generations

@@selrox879 how are incels related to men who "abandon and abuse" their family.
Also, people who "abuse" tend not to "abandon" because they prefer to keep their pliant victims close at hand. Also, abusers are NOT incels because abusers tend very much to be NOT celibate.

@@Anna_Key thank you so much for correcting whoever made that comparison. Incel is just a slur meant to hurt men now. Olivia completely misrepresented what it actually is in her little explanation and it's so funny how wildly inaccurate she was about something she says she has deep feelings about.

I love Dr. Peterson. When Olivia Wilde tried to sound smart by saying he was the inspiration of the villain, I knew instantly she has never read or actually listened to what he has said. She sounded stupid and naive. And her behavior in life has shown her to be way too narcissistic to turn and look at herself as a possible problem. Everyone should read Dr. Peterson’s work and listen to what he suggests, but that would mean you have to judge yourself and not many people are willing to do that nowadays.

15:05 ish. Okay, she had me until she said that men carry no risk of being victims of domestic and sexual violence from women when every modern study that is done with any integrity has found this to be blatantly untrue. It's incredibly dangerous to promote that as accurate, just ask Travis Alexander.
