This channel is to document the adventures I take and for my mini me, Lily.
I have created this channel for Lily to come to and enjoy the adventures that we have together and for her to see the love I have for her and adventures. My hope is that you will continue to explore and learn on many of your own adventures yet to come, and know I will always love you, wherever your path takes you.

Spring Break Day Trip on the Train! 2024
Date: March 2024
Modes of Transportation: Truck, Train, Railway
Destination: Perot museum, Dallas
Adventurers: Lily, Mom and Snakey
Lily and I had the best time mapping out our plan, following the maps and executing our plan! We jumped on and off all different kinds of transportations all in a days work!
We can't wait to go back on another train, but bring cards next time since we know they have a table to prevent the torturous boredom!

Where was this campsite? I do not recognize this spot.
It was on one of the islands about half way through the 20 mile strip from the dam to Rochelle’s - I’m not exactly sure which one specifically though.
Is electricity provided in the camp site?
The one we stayed in did have electricity! When you book the site it will tell you if it does or not on the website. The ones labeled primitive don’t have electricity and sometimes don’t have water and you might have to hike to get to them, so just make sure you check it out prior to booking! Hope that helps!

Thanks! Well our plan was to only do 10 miles, but all the islands along the way seemed to be crowded, so we kept going until we found this one and so glad we did, it was a perfect spot!
That was out campsite right behind you. We were the crazy people running around on OneWheels. Even with the heat that was a great weekend.

Thank you Gene! We dropped off at L&L Ranch and then paddled about 10 miles to our campsite at KL Ranch Camp. We left one vehicle at drop off spot, and then someone had to drive them back to pick it up. I do believe you can set it up where an outfitter comes and gets you, L&L might have that information for you. It is fun, with some porting, hope you get to experience your own adventure soon!

We had one canoe couple with us. But it was with a Kayak group, so most of us had kayaks. Canoes are welcome!
