Well Brazos River we meet again, this time with cooler temperatures, more experience and no spills. I can't say the same for my GoPro mount piece which was sacrificed to the river as well as my drone... whomp whomp.
But good times were had, friendships made and memories not soon forgotten. Thanks Bobbie for being the guide and not leading us a stray!
We saw many creatures including, river otters tearing up a fish for lunch (highlight of the trip for sure!), cows, a pack of deer running through the water, water moccasins, birds of all sorts, and even Sasquatch was spotted for a brief second!
Footage: GoPro9
Drone: DJImini2
Song: "Good Life" Randall Kent
looks like a good time keep it up
Thanks! It was a blast! Can't wait to go back.
You were lied to! That island is 14 miles in. Nice work!
Thanks! Well our plan was to only do 10 miles, but all the islands along the way seemed to be crowded, so we kept going until we found this one and so glad we did, it was a perfect spot!
Have you read "Goodbye to a River" by Robert (or John) Graves. He canoed the Brazos before it was dammed up. Interesting read.
I have not, I just looked it up and it looks like a great read. Thanks for sharing!
