Campsite: 58, electric and water tent site
Campers: Kristina, Ryan and the Kayak Adventure group
The Perseid meteor shower was at full peak on this weekend and it was well worth suffering through the heat to witness all the shooting stars and meteors. I am so glad we didn't chicken out due to the triple digit heat (110 F!!!).
I didn't get a lot of great footage at night, which is when most of our events took place. But we had a blast with the Kayak Adventure group, met some great people, reunited with past friends and saw dozens and dozens of stars blazing across the sky. Thank you Steven for hosting such a great event!
This was my first night paddle and I can say I am now a huge fan of night paddles. It was so peaceful and great weather at 9-2am. Something magical about the experience, which also can be very dangerous if not careful. Use caution out there!
Note: Ryan and I liked Primitive sites (w/water) 79 & 80 for future group camp outs.

That was out campsite right behind you. We were the crazy people running around on OneWheels. Even with the heat that was a great weekend.

Oh awesome! After watching y’all ride around on those, we are thinking about getting some!! Looked super fun!

Is electricity provided in the camp site?

The one we stayed in did have electricity! When you book the site it will tell you if it does or not on the website. The ones labeled primitive don’t have electricity and sometimes don’t have water and you might have to hike to get to them, so just make sure you check it out prior to booking! Hope that helps!
