I debated creating this video, and then after creating, debated posting.
But this channel was created for Lily so she can look back on our memories and adventures and BOY was this an adventure! That sometimes includes the bad.
This trip was doomed to fail from the beginning when we picked Lily up from her dad's and she was sick. Although we were sick, with the flu, the ENTIRE trip we did try to make the most of it. Even the videos of going into town, I had to sit down and reconsider going back to the resort multiple times. I figured I could either be miserable exploring or miserable back in the room where I spent the majority of the trip.
Lily is a CHAMP! She felt okay-ish for one day and so did a day of ski lessons, it drained her and probably didn't help her recovery process, but she did it and I am so proud of her for going and trying it out!
This video doesn't portray much, not very much B-roll footage, practically NO footage of my family, almost all video from the truck, but obviously I wasn't feeling well and couldn't find energy to do it.
Donnie and Travis both enjoyed skiing, and although I had a 3 day pass, I couldn't find energy to go at all. The Snowmobiling adventure was fun, but it was too long in my opinion. Ryan, who wasn't sick, felt the same way. Our tour guide was amazing though and had so much history to share.
