    Destination: Fort Parker State Park
    Campsite: 47 - primitive site, no electricity/water
    Campers: Amanda and Kristina
Hiked: Springfield Trail (and others that ran into it)
Paddled: Navasota River (started at the boat ramp - recommend this)
From the monsoon storm to the raiding raccoons, there was never a dull moment on this wild trip. I will surely be back to this park to finish the river paddle to the end (during a cooler month).
We might not have gotten the rain fly up in time, but the weather was so wonderful we didn't even mind standing in the rain to come up with a plan! The weather was great for June. We saw all sorts of critters, armadillos, raccoons, snakes, cranes, snails, centipedes, green spiders and a Sasquatch!
Note: The primitive sites are VERY primitive and very close together - not a lot of room for multiple tents to set up.
    Videos: GoPro Hero9
    Pictures: Nikon D70
Songs: "Wild at Heart" - Anthem Academy
"Cotton Candy Skies" - Children of Indigo
