Elegoo Penguin Bot V2.0 FULL REVIEW | A Smart Arduino-based Robot that can dance!
Is it possible to swap the Arduino IDE/language for Thonny/micropython?
can it use mpu6050 Triple Axis Accelerometer instead of 6-axis? Thank you for answering.
Amazing! Very inspiring!!! 💫😍
I really wanted to make a rc car on my own bc then I feel like it is very precious. Also I wanted to know how could I add additional motors and etc like maybe you add more lights even add a hook that hooks onto small thin poles like maybe in front of another car and pulls it on itself like a ramp behind to do that honestly I really don't know I am just asking this so I can make a rc car that's more unique bc that's the point otherwise why make ur own😅
Hi Max. I was thinking tank treads but when I saw this car I was hoping you did a review. Thank you. Engineering question please? can you alter the speed of the car by programming? I'd like to slow it down. I plan on adding more sensors like a LIDAR chip to digitize my living room just for fun. I was also thinking of adding more options like an on board camera, or an ESP32 and run it with WiFi. Any ideas?
Very useful video! Keep up the great work Nrf projects never worked for me 😢 But atleast this video works for others Thank you 😊
Thank you! Will do... Have you identified the core issue with your NRF transmitter? Don't give up... You can do it!
@@MaxImagination I can't find the issue till now 😞
Do u think that rubber band gonna stand long? If it will,i can also make one
It has for me even up until now. It all comes down to the quality of the rubber band - don't go for cheap every day bands. Use the band included in the gear kits.
@@MaxImaginationAlright! Thanks bud!!
Sir,how much voltages can we give??
As much as 6V MAX to the receiver board.
Love the birds being curious lol
süper(TÜRKEY)
hey max. just a question.... can we make the control the drone via a mobile application
Hey there! You could, but that would be a completely different drone. I suggest you watch another video for that. Try ESP32-based drones. Cheers!
@@MaxImagination Hey thanks a lot mate. i was actually working on the esp 32 based drone. I was wondering if using ESP 8266 would be sufficient., as it also has wi-fi module

Hey! I suggest you look for the resources you need here: www.elegoo.com/blogs/arduino-projects/elegoo-samrt-robot-penguin-bot-tutorial
What 3D printer you used???
I use the Creality Ender 3 V2
@@MaxImagination thanks Man
instructions were 10 times better than most adults ive seen making these
I appreciate that!
Not sure if tech has change sufficiently over the years, but my past experience with small brushed motors and quads is they're disposabled; if you get the same luck I've had, it won't take too many flights for yo to need to replace the motors...
These motors can last you months of not years if used correctly - not overvolted and not driven the the wrong directions.
i have one but the app is no longer available 😭😭
is there any way to still use this
Try searching on google for the APK app file.
Please bro what studies did u follow
I followed a lot online both free and paid. I suggest you start with books for electronics such as "Practical Electronics for Inventors".
Price
Making cost may vary from $10-20 USD depending from where you purchase the parts.
Whats his job
This is my job.
No but for real Im looking for the name I would like to do something like this @@MaxImagination
If you are interested in electronics, try studying electronics engineering. If you're more into aeronautics and flying stuff, combine it with aeronautical engineering.
where is the code
Linked in my pinned comment below this video.
I like how he made this with easy to find tools
Glad you liked it!
what a GREAT guide ! awesome work ... loved it
Glad it helped you! Thanks!
I'm tryna synchronize the sketch with the MultiWiiConf but it simply shut down. I'm using the arduino nano. Do you have any idea why I can't connect to calibrate?
What do you mean by synchronizing it? Try opening a different version of the multiwii software in another folder, such as the 32-bit version. Software as such can have strange incompatibility issues.
@@MaxImagination I've found out the problem. It is a bug on MultiWii 64 bits. I've installed the jre x86 and opened the 32 bits version. Worked like a charm. Thanks anyway
Just curious, why didn't this drone use any encoders with the motors. Was this compensated for by the IMU and in software?
This is all handled in the software. Keep in mind, it's not a brushless drone to have encoders.
Great !!! thanks a lot, you made a huge work, is the device can work without sd card ? i mean only for streaming not to save file into it... sorry for my rusty english..
Hi there! With how the code is configured nowadays, you NEED the SD card in order for it to work.
This project is so sick dude!
Thanks, Alex!
Beautifull job on making this video i m interested in building it but i dont know how the camera system works like are there alternatives for gogles or better camera ?
Thank you! There aren't many alternatives of this size, it's just about as good as it gets unless you're willing to invest much more $$$
Hello i made my tx and rx but when I connect a servo the servo turns and stops but I can't control with tx I check wiring
What type of servo are you using? Have you checked the outputs with your multimeter on the receiving end? I think your TX and RX aren't connected, actually. Make sure you're using a 10uf capacitor across the power terminals of each NRF module to resolve connection issues - or use a more stable 3.3V supply for them.
okay, very impressive, but now rebuild everything for esp32-cam
Thanks! The ESP32-cam is not compatible with this project.
@@MaxImagination I am kidding you with this rude words. I really like it, and some time ago was really curious about using arduino as a flight controller but had no idea how to replace motor speed controllers, but now its all clear to me, and I'm going to build it. I'll try to stream video on my smartphone and transmit controll signals from my smartphone as well, so the whole project would be a bit cheaper
No worries! Glad you found my video helpful in making your own Arduino drone. Best of luck!
I dont know how to get all these small things or how long is the car ?
I don't understand your question? The dimensions are shown on the blueprints.
your videos are bringing life to my childhood engineering dreams! i used to open any electronics i could get my hands on and try to replicate it to understand about thier workings, and i litereally used to buuild retro custom version of my electronic toys and RC cars!
That's awesome! Glad to hear that!
Your programming circuit is wrong. it didn't work for me. In your video you used the GND next to the 5V pin, but in the diagram you use the one on the opposite side.
It is actually correct... Maybe your FTDI board is different from mine?
can i use this code for esp32 devkit v1? please help me!
Yes, you should be able to. The code is inter-compatible with different ESPs.
@@MaxImagination Oh, thank you for your help. However, I tried uploading the code to my microcontroller yesterday, and it didn't report any errors. But after being reflashed, the microcontroller cannot broadcast WiFi even though I tried restarting the circuit. I'm really stuck. I hope you can help me this time. Thank you so much.
Hey there. Have you analyzed what the serial monitor is mentioning about the issue? Try troubleshooting your board a little more. Check forums on your specific board, as well.
great work! brother!!💫
Thank you! Cheers!
This video deserves a ton, sh*t ton of views. Like you I recently read an EE forum where a bunch of EEs (or wannabees, idk) were saying that what you just showed us is impossible. Great job, and thanks for sharing. New sub.
I highly appreciate that! As my mantra goes, "You can make anything you set your mind to".
Dude how is your scissor cutting the pvc so easily. Mine takes forever to even cut an inch of the parts. Plz give me solution to this problem
Find sharper scissors or sharpen them. Also, you may want to heat the plastic more.
We gotta add that nickle based nuclear battery to this.
call it the fairy fly
Nice project ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Brother I have a dead phone but all its components are working like display battery camera etc. Only its motherboard is dead so can I make something for it please tell me.
You can probably make something from using its battery, vibrator motor, and speakers. Combines with a number of other parts, you may be able to make something, but not so much.
@@MaxImagination can we connect raspberry Pi or another item to use as motherboard etc
That depends on what you intend to make. I suggest you keep those parts spare and decide first on what you want to make and only use the parts if you need them.
What would be the total cost of the equipment to do this?
$180-250 USD including goggles and the transmitter.
The final work is amazing.
I appreciate that!
omg that worked
I would make a tiny car for my baby Brother
