trash
Wait dont you need to have the surface a bit roughed up for primer to stick? Also use metal etch first or an epoxy on bare metal
Como picha a un culo
He used enough fiberglass the build 3 seats , half of it went to waste and why didnt he alternate roving mat roving mat? coulda done a 2 unit lay-up. You should try and do your lay-up so that you do your trim halfway through the kick , that way everything is like slicing bread instead of having to saw rock hard resin !
Konsi konsi meterial lagta he sir
That seat is....
🗑️
Sorry, but you should rename this "how not to paint a motorcycle frame. The method you used will not last. You need epoxy primer and then you should have used a high temp paint if using from a can and if from a gun you should use eurethane or laquer
Buy the paint gun, damn it😮 Do it RIGHT😮
So you recommend. Not restoring a bike that needs restoring but finding. One that doesn't need anything
Show !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello, thanks a lot for your video's. I really appreciate this!!
I get this video is 8 years old but always work with aircraft paint stripper in a ventilated area
This video was made 8 years ago. Unfortunately, thanks to California, you can no longer buy paint remover that actually works. They got methylene Chloride banned, whch was the active ingredient in paint strippers.
My respect for you doing it on your own man, with practice comes perfection
don't even have a way to hang the bike to paint the bottom. Ghetto.
Thank you for this information. This has given me the knowledge and motivation to get my XL roadworthy.
mate, just give it to the misso next time when you get up to the sewing part lol
Bro chemical name
How much did all material for the seat cost you? Good work 👍
How did you get the camshaft sprocket retaining bolt out without it rotating?
Top tip... Use contact adhesive, saves on all that tape and jeans
everything was perfect but the stiches were fatal this machine is not for upholstery
Gnarly
Nice shot 👌
How you doing?!Motorcycle-sso amazing see u around-🌟
Bike was low on oil and siezed. I freed it up and everything seems fine, but not starting. Is it possible nothing is wrong or should I just rebuild the top end? I doubt the bottom end is messed up, but Honda tried to say the whole engine is fried.
just got the same bike, color & everything
Hi could you put up a link of the buffing pads and where to buy them
You can buy buffing wheels at most home improvement stores. The Ryobi wheels he was using are available exclusively at The Home Depot.
What are the materials that you use?
Never do this lol...
You really dont have to remove all the Paint. Just sandgrit with layer 240,800,100,1200 and use iron brush for rust.
600 is fine
Damn these comments are ruthless
What do you call to that foam you're using?
Carpet padding
you can by different weights of foam like this, not just carpet foam and this foam is easily shaped, rebonded foam is the name of it
Very informative
You made it nice, but bot perfect… probs
I always had my Buddy sandblast and Powder-coat my Frames, swing-arms, etc. nothing like powder coat and it is inexpensive.
Inexpensive? Yeah when you have a buddy maybe
yep, try again :)
Heat lots of heat on a 66 305 pulled the head has aluminum buildup they are stuck really bad fixxing to put the big torch on the cylinders
Patience for sure and generally repeating steps it will work . Great video
A for effort - I sure as hell could not have done better. I think what caught you out a bit (just theorizing here) was that you transferred your template line, which in essence is your stitch line, and later used it as a cut line instead. I might be wrong, but that's what it looked like to me. I'm going to make my first attempt soon, and honestly - I'd be impressed if I do as well as you did.
need a new stator and regulator, can you deliver one as you show in the video for the Honda cb 450 and price? Best regards Sigmund
what glue did you use to stick the foam on the fiberglass pan?
I used spray glue, super 77
It seems he used maple syrup 😂
@@asadabdulqaabir4006 Going to be a crunchy seat as that glue breaks down 😂
Jesus fucking christ that seat turned out awful!
whats the liquid???
Gorilla Glue
I hope that was an etch primer you put on first
I don’t think he is putting it in the Mecum Auction !!
@@silkcustoms520 the what??? Etch will aid in it not rusting up and binds better. The hell has an auction got to do with it?
Do I see the top of the engine case ripped apart at the end of the video?
Good try keep it up
Thanks!
Pode ser feito skate
I was soooo hopeful for the finished product, the work that went into it it deserved to look so much better, but credit where credit is due I doubt I could have done any better, full marks for effort my hat is off to you sir 🙌🙌
You and me both!
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂 Bad lay job
