Relieved to see this 350 isn't turning into a hipster bike. Enjoying the videos so far.

The regulator and the rectifier both get attached to the basket that holds the battery and then attach to the wiring harness from there. The rectifier has a plastic rectangular connection to the wiring harness and the regulator just has individual wires that get connected together. Be sure that the wires on the regulator match up with the wires of the same color on the wiring harness. The alternator attaches to the wiring harness through a circular plastic connector that will match up exactly to the connection on the alternator itself. I hope this helps!

I painted the engine covers with engine enamel. That is why they look much different. I have a video up about painting the engine covers, you should check it out!

Question about general cleaning of the exterior of the engine. It looks like there's a fairly large difference in the appearance from the first video to this one, did you just use degreaser on the exterior to clean it?

    Hello,
Hope you are having a good day sir. Questions, I have a 1972 CB350 that I just bought and asking if you could tell me where the Alternator, Regulator and Rectifier wires go sir. I have a manual but a little confused. The owner stripped it down for a cafe so he wanted no extra weight. Thank you for your time and have a great day!

Well if you're going to paint it, why not just paint it whatever color you want?

Paradigm Storytime Becuase there are becoming fewer and fewer bikes with the original colors like gold, blue, green, and orange because most people like black or red better. More and more people are repainting the bikes red or black and eventually the original unique colors will be very hard to come by.

If someone wanted the original colors, it wouldn't be that hard to repaint it the original colors. The only parts that are actually painted are the two plastic sidecovers and the tank.
