I got hooked on cap n ball revolvers back in the early 80’s. Then life happened and time for the finer things in life got put on hold. Picked it back up about 4 years ago. Love watching your channel. I set up a nice woods walk range on my little farm. I use my cap n ball revolvers and my flintlocks on it. Great fun. Look forward to future videos of yours.

Hello, thanks for all your great videos. I have a Uberti Leech & Rigdon too. I was really annoyed with Uberti for the engraved cylinder, just shows its all about the money. I assume they just put the standard 1851 Navy cylinder as they get them massed produced. Simple to pull a batch out of the press engraved process but they just couldn't be bothered :( Black mark Uberti, hope you show a bit more class in the future and think about your customers much more than you do now. Cheers Chris

good revolver, Pietta could do the same with frame and handle of a 1851 and barrel of a griswold and gunisson... the only part not correct is the notch of the loading lever, different on a real leech and rigdon. I don't know why Uberti don't made it, not realy more difficult as the 51, perhaps the cost of the change...

I JUST LOVE THAT ABSAROKA/CROW BEADED SHOULDER STRIPS!!! I HAVE A CHEYENNE WAR SHIRT WITH A "BENCH COPY" OF A 1750s LANCASTER .50 CALIBER CREATED BY BUDDY BOWMAN OF TEXAS. DURING A CHALLENGE MATCH (MANY YEARS AGO), I HIT A PAPER PLATE FIVE TIMES IN A ROW (WITH ONE ROUND BALL BEING SPLIT BY THE ROD HOLDING THE PLATE) AT 100 YARDS. I MET A MARINE SNIPER THAT WAS JUST FLABERGASTED THAT SUCH SHOOTING COULD BE CONDUCTED WITH A FLINTER. AGAIN, I REALLY ENJOY WATCHING ALL YOUR VIDEOS (NEWLY SUBSCRIBED). If I only had a dollar for every time I've been cussed, flamed, and referred to as stupid/antiquated/etc. here on YT. when I mentioned that the human body has not changed enough over the last few hundred thousand years or so to make certain calibers obsolete and/or ineffective. With a bit of practice and the proper mindset your revolver would be a true fight stopper....Oh wait....That was already historically proven.

What a Lovely cap and ball pistol! And what great Shootin! I prefer my holster on the left as you do. It’s seems more natural and comfortable to me. Especially riding the old trail,,,,well most likely. Now if I had one, a new bucket list item for me, I’d make bone or antler grips. But curly maple would be sweet as well. But this is perhaps the best shooting I’ve seen with a pocket Colt. I have a CVA so call Wells Fargo pocket that has no loading lever but it’s a pretty accurate pistol but I haven’t tried it at those distances. But that one you have? I can feel it in my hand! Funny how you can see a pistol like that and just feel it in hand and know how it will fit. So Thanks for sharing that fine pretty little fancy engraved beauty that shoots fine as frogs hair on chicken lips! Now that’s fine!
