I have several presets for different types of music; within each I use snapshots to provide different sounds, typically clean, rhythm 1, rhythm 2, lead 1; some have lead 2, but I rarely go above four snapshots, and at most 6. not too different from what you described here; great to see others doing similar things, tells me I may not be as crazy as I think. 😁

I got my 212 power cab plus and have a question : should helix presets be set to digital for the out put and guitar for the input for the L6 212 plus power cab when using the L-6 Link cable?

FS2 always have to be pressed twice on both of my stomps... how could that be? some different settings in the globals...?

Great stuff, managed to pick out the same modals you have here on your Helix as I did on mine to try and get his sound. That pedal sounded very nice indeed. Fave Police song at the moment is Synchronicity II

You are a life saver! I immediately updated the firmware to 3.71 before ever plugging into an amp and experienced this issue. Your solution of switching inputs didn't work for me (along with factory reset, etc.), but you gave me a clue that it could be the firmware. I started by flashing my firmware to an arbitrary version before 3.01 and the sound immediately started working. I then updated to 3.01, followed by 3.71, and everything is resolved. I spent at least a couple hours searching Reddit and the Line 6 forums and never saw any mention of this firmware update problem.

You can make this even better! I'm not sure how to do it on the stomp itself, but in HX edit if you right click on the snapshot drop down you can select a colour for each one... these colours are then displayed on the LED rings, which makes it even eaiser to see which snapshots they will change to when you press the footswiches.. for mine i have blue for clean, red for OD, and purple for lead... works great!

I had the same issue the first time I tried to use mine on my hx stomp, but turning the minimum volume knob, on the side of the pedal, to minimum, made it work fine. You can also check the tip-ring polarity on the Helix setup.

I love the PRs CE which is made the same place the classic 24 is. It’s not an import like the SE but it is a bolt on neck. I had one and set the neck liked it more.

I discovered this on my own only after an hour of struggling like the rest of the crowd. Bummer there’s a guy who I’m not going to mention never goes over this and his CZcams video specifically is about the Ampero switch !

For the price alone it's a "no-brainer". Unless you treat it like a baseball, you'll have no problem with the plastic housing.

How could anyone think it doesn’t work with an amp?

The “stereo” feature on this pedal is wet/dry, one is just mono through and the other is the effect signal and I believe it can go 100 percent wet if something is plugged into the through out. This pedal really shines running through two separate amps and speakers so you get the chorus on one amp and “dry” signal to the other, essentially a poor man’s Wet/Dry rig. It’s a good chorus pedal but there’s better ones for just single amp rigs I think.
