    Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. After the latest firmware update to 3.15 most of my assigned snapshots were showing as SNAPSHOT^^^. I was searching for answers to getting some back, this lesson helped me out.

      Glad you found it helpful. It still confuses me a little even now. Haha!

    Cheers PF, great tips for us cover band players who need max number of different sounds within a set and within songs.

    Excellent info. I can see using the bottom row for 8 snapshots and have the top be 4 pedals with this method.

      Yes, that would be a good configuration!

      That's what i want. It's it the same setup just choose snaps instead of stomps?

    Loving your content! Have you found a way to add snapshots to the ‘second bank’ when going to the change mode footswitch? Cheers

      Glad you're enjoying. What do you mean with your query? Forgive me if I don't remember my exact words in the video.

    First! Been loving your videos. Is there a video about voice through the helix into a power cab tips in the pipeline for like a small solo gig ? Will now watch this video you just iluploded

      Thanks for the love Rafael! I haven't done a video about using the Helix's mic input. That might be an interesting one to look into. Thanks!

    How about a link to this preset… sounds awesome!

    I might have misinterpreted how you want to Snapshot bypass an effect block/button… but i think what you are after is accessed with action button on the highlighted block

    • @ProFunctionist
      @ProFunctionist  Před 2 lety

      I think I know what you are referring to with regards to the action button. FYI what I was hoping to be able to do (and what others have also wondered) was being able to switch FX on/off and they stay on/off regardless of what snapshot you're in, like with a traditional pedalboard. As I remember, that was replaced with the current system as a feature in a previous update.
      Thanks for the comment. I hope I understood it correctly :-)

      @@ProFunctionist again I apologize if I’m still not understanding you. But to get exactly what you describe just turn ‘snapshot bypass’ to off for effects blocks you want to be unchanged by snapshot changes. I just double checked it

    Are you missing the disregard funtion of the snap shot. Maybe you answered that already.

      Are yo referring to the 'Bypass' button which switches FX blocks on and off?

    Nice video once again. By the way, you use the double take / "20 ms delay" trick to make the stereo effect. Have you ever tested the TC Electronic Mimiq pedal? I bought one and to me it was a game changer. Always on pedal. Using it in Helix stereo fx loop. Tweaked the settings to my test from the pedal and also in Helix and not everything is perfect. No modulation issues or what so ever. Highly recommend that pedal

    • @ProFunctionist
      @ProFunctionist  Před 2 lety

      The Mimiq has been on my radar for a while. But I am yet to try one. It sounds like it might be the way to go (as long as you don't mind the external pedals). I'd definitely like to try one. Thanks!

    Great tips. I wonder if you can do this to get more than 4 snapshots on one line instead of getting more effects blocks as you showed, because with my LT we only get 8 snaps total and it would be nice to get more since many free presets out there have 6, 8 or 10 snaps in them but if we setup the Helix to be half snaps and half stomps you can only have 4+4 (snaps+stomps) so if any preset has more than 4 snaps you're screwed and have to put it into full snaps only mode to see them all. Any ideas. Thanks.

    • @ProFunctionist
      @ProFunctionist  Před 2 lety

      I"m sure the Helix Floor has amax of 8 snaoshots too. But yes, you can essentially get more than 4 along one row, as long as you don't mind cycling through two or more snapshots per footswitch. You would also have to have your Helix in stomp mode and set up the footswitches in commnd center to switch between more than one snapshot. I hope I understood your question correctly. Thanks for the comment.

    @chl3224 Před 2 lety

    I don't necessarily use the snapshots to change sounds, instead, I use snap shots to go to different setting for a different song in the set,, but the Helix just gets better and better and more flexible and more flexible update by update.

      The versatility of the Helix is great and allows guitarists to use their preferred workflow. Glad it's working for you.
